Upon doing so, I noticed that not all of my photos had backed up to my iCloud, and I was devastated as I drove two days to see my 98 year old grandmother and couldn't retrieve these photo. That is, until I repaid them a visit! They had no problem slapping a temp screen on my broken phone for me to get into and get my photos back onto my replacement. Honest, hard working, and affordable. I 10000/10 will recommend them every time.

Went here to get my phone screen replaced last month…read moreafter an issue with the touchscreen, and the person who replaced the screen did not put my phone back together properly, causing my phone to be unusable if not on wifi, poor audio, no network signal, camera problems, and not being able to vibrate. The person who replaced my phone screen also did not address these issues when I brought them up prior to checking out as I did not have any signal after he "reassembled" it. He also did not issue any receipt. I had to take my phone to another repair shop (All About Phones in Iowa City - HIGHLY RECOMMEND) to put my phone back together properly. The person at All About Phones was able to determine that the person from The Fix didn't put all the screws back in, and the ones that were in were in the wrong spots. The aspect that makes your phone vibrate is now missing from my phone (phone will not vibrate without it - person at The Fix just didn't put that component back in). My antenna was not properly reconnected, so I had no signal, the camera and audio outputs weren't working because they were not connected properly and had the wrong screws in place interfering with their connections. It was not even properly sealed back together. Update: the screen the fix put on my phone has to be fully replaced now because it had so many issues with neon lines showing, ghost touches, dead zones where no touch would register, and being completely unusable. It's worse than my original screen that I had replaced. If I could give zero stars, I would. Will be trying to contact this company for a refund.

Well... a few weeks in I wanted to know more about how 'active' I was being. I did research on what watch was for me and decided on the Apple Watch. Best Buy had the best price online and better yet, I could buy it and pick it up curbside the next morning! I came with my confirmation email, pulled into one of their five designated spots out front and an employee was out in minutes to drop off my purchase. Easy peasy. While I do not frequent Best Buy often in real life, I will say that this location always has some very helpful, knowledgeable folks working here. Plus, the location is super convenient at the Coral Ridge Mall. Just because a pandemic happens, doesn't mean you can't get the watch of your dreams (contact free)!

Too expensive. Canceling is hell. I had a cell phone + watch bundle and switched to a carrier…read morethat costs only 25 percent as much. They only canceled my cell phone plan, leaving the watch line active. It took me a while to notice the account was not fully canceled, which cost me money for nothing (the watch line was On Hold since I had lost the watch). Then, they made me call back later to ask for a refund of my balance. After 5 weeks I noticed I hadn't gotten my refund back so I called yet again. Turns out you cannot ask for a refund until at least 30 days has passed after your deactivation. It had failed to process and they were waiting for me to call back. So now I should FINALLY have my meager refund in 2 days. I hope it comes. They are also refusing to send me the final bill. They say they can't. That is absolutely insane and sounds illegal to me.

The owner contacted me and was extremely helpful and willing to resolve the issue, he set up an…read moreappointment for me to have someone look at the frame of my phone and either fix it (for real) or give me a full refund so i can send to insurance. The full fix was going to take days cause they'd have to gut the whole phone and on the phone this was never mentioned. I was told that because i also had a battery put in (which was aftermarket and had information smudged off of it in two places i noticed) that i would only be refunded $140 of $180. Sure you put in a new battery, but i cant really use it..i'm sending it to insurance (Which will cost me $200 deductible ). so i can have i truly fixed phone. I wish i could give a better review, but they weren't going to help me until i gave a negative one (initial offer was only %15 another 139 charge). And i'm still out $40 and right back where i was before. The initial person looking at my phone apparently thought the bend in the phone wouldn't effect another screen as it had the last. The actual technician seemed very knowledgeable. All in all unfortunate, but a huge hassle.

Fast forward a few decades and in my stint with adulting I can relate. I can't say I miss landlines but I am kind of jealous of many aspects of them. Like, I don't want to always be reachable or expected to be. Lucky for me, I have US Cellular. So, when I'm on vacation-- I am pretty much living the memory above with my landline lying in the hallway floor. Jokes aside, I've had three carriers in my life with a cell phone and all of them have had their issues. I don't believe any are perfect. Three reasons I'm a US Cellular costumer: 1. US Cellular has great coverage in middle of nowhere Iowa. It is my carrier of choice as a mom of two, because I won't be traveling a lot until they're older-- so what does my out of state coverage matter? I want a reliable phone in my day to day life. 3. Pricing is comparable with every carrier in the area-- so why not? I mean each have their own offers, perks, etc but eh, basically the same. 4. People and places. I've had helpful and courteous people every in-store interaction I've had in recent memory. Which is nice, because no one wants to spend their afternoon dealing with their phone. And their locations are convenient for me as well. My lower rating is mostly because instead of taking out a plan for a single line-- I joined on to my in laws. Definitely more cost effective! You'd think I could go in and split the bill each month for automatic payment? (I know other cell phone companies have this option.) Apparently not possible with their online interface. Bummer.
