I went to this Verizon store last week to buy a new phone. When checking me out, the sales rep brought two other items to the counter and was preparing to ring them up. I asked what they were. She said, "I'm bundling you some things." I asked what she was bundling. She told me she was going to plug one item in my car, and gave a brief description of what it was for. I told her I didn't need or want it. I got a blank look. Shame on me, but I let her talk me into the other item, a desktop wireless charger that she said could also be carried in my purse as a backup charger. When I got home, I couldn't receive either phone calls or texts on the new phone. I went back. She obviously wasn't glad to see me, gave me a glare, and said, "What's wrong?" I told her. She took the phone in the back room for a short time, came back out, and it was working. She obviously forgot to do something in the setup process. I went home. Over the course of the evening, I attempted to charge the wireless desktop charger. It wouldn't take a charge, and the block it was plugged into got VERY hot. While doing this, I read the complete instructions. The instructions said that it should be kept out where air could circulate around it, and that it should NOT be enclosed in a bag or purse. I took it back the next morning. She wasn't there. I spoke to the manager who was not at all sympathetic or apologetic, and was in fact rude. I told him of her errors, her attitude, the problem with the charger, that she had misrepresented the product, that I had made two trips the day before, and that I was back for a third time and wanted a refund for the charger. He then asked me if I wanted to exchange it. I repeated that I wanted a refund. He then refunded me a LESSER amount than what I paid for it because she had bundled a product that she misrepresented into my purchase. Looking more closely at my receipt later, I also noticed that she had added insurance to my plan without asking if I wanted it. Had she asked me, I would have agreed. The point is that she shouldn't add items to a purchase without asking. For the time being, I decided to keep it. You really shouldn't have to make three trips to buy a new phone. Neither should you have to deal with high-pressure sales tactics and product misrepresentation. I will never use this Verizon location again. I'll either go to another location, or order directly from Apple. A terrible experience, and I do not recommend this store. read more

Yet in the process of switching over we discovered that those promises were not able to be kept. Yet when trying to address these issues with staff we were treated disrespectfully. read more

Verizon use to have better customer service. We walked into the store in need of technical assistance with an IPHONE that just stopped working. We pretty much got told that because he didn't purchase an extended warranty our only option was to purchase a new $1100.00 phone because they don't carry certified refurbished and because they don't fix phones anymore. But the local shop at the Peachtree mall fixed it in 45min and charged $69.95, so glad we opted for a 2nd opinion. read more

Tischera was absolutely amazing! I'd previously went to the Apple store and Best Buy to view Apple watches. Neither place tried to sell them to me, they only told me the price, which was honestly irrelevant. Tischera, not knowing any of this, explained all the new features and functionality, price wasn't even discussed. I went in originally to simply pay for my preorder. I left $3000.00 later with two new iPhones (11 max pro, and 11 pro) two new series 5 watches, the Verizon Hum (Verizon's Onstar) and the latest iPad Pro. I sent my elderly father into the store for new service after trying to set him up online with no success (I'm in Hawaii as my husband is military and trying to do what I can to help my dad). He went into this location and was told that they could give him a phone but they could do nothing to help him set it up or activate it. I spoke with a representative in the store and told them that my dad is technologically illiterate to the point where I have to explain to him where the question mark is on the keypad, and that he needed the extra help or he'd never be able to get it set up. The employee went back and forth with me about it for about a minute and then walked away from the phone and said " I'm not going to talk to you about this anymore." My dad was given 5 different phone number to call because of the issue we had trying to sign him up online and when he finally got the issue fixed he couldn't find the employee to get his new phone from. He was standing outside for about 20 mins banging on the glass door trying to get someones attention. When he finally did they guy got his phone and supposedly ported his number over handed him the phone and said " I activated it as a courtesy you'll have to call tech support for any other help needed." and walked away. He never gave him the number for tech support or anything. My dad not knowing better drove home (45 mins away) only to get there and realize the phone doesn't work. He had an old prepaid phone and was able to call me and I called customer service trying to resolve the problem but was told he needed to take it into the store. The next day he went to a different location and was able to receive the help he needed after an hour and forty-five mins. Come to find out the port never went through and there was no way we could have fixed it. The rep had to call the port company and have it pushed through because it was SCHEDULED to happen at a certain time but no one told us anything. Now I have been trying to reach the store manager and can't get through because apparently they aren't answering the phones and have all the calls being directed to a call center. I will never send ANYONE I know to this location ever again. The lady that helped my dad at the other location was so helpful and patient and even did the smart switch for him while trying to figure out the problem, and put all his apps in the same place on his home screen so he'd know where everything was. after spending over $700 on a new phone and to be treated the way he was is utterly dispicable, disrespectful, unprofessional, and rude. I don't care if he spent $1 there no one should ever be treated that way. read more

DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT #trust the #Verizon sales people!! They are deceiving and they lack knowledge in their products and services. The Edge Program is a HUGE #scam! My bill has been very large every single month since I started with Verizon, with this charge or that charge. Check your bill!!! This company is #DISHONEST!! I truly truly wish I would have never ever become a customer. I am beyond disappointed. I am now stuck for two years with Verizon. I can't wait until I can get away from them. I will be sure to let everyone I know that crosses my path about Verizon and how terrible and deceiving they are. Will Drumwright, at the Macon Road location is who you need to see for any of your Verizon business. My friend and I went in there for new phones and he helped us, took care of us, and I didn't feel like I'd just been hustled, like I have from other locations. Will doesn't have to rely on lying or deceitful tactics to make a living, he just gives great customer service. Both of us were ecstatic with our new phones and with our experience. I am embarrassed that it took a horrible experience at the Veterans Pkwy store with a slime ball named Ryan, to remind me that I never wrote a glowing review for the service we received from Will. The Macon Road store is not convenient for me, but I will definitely be going out of my way for any of my Verizon needs. It is worth the extra drive to get 5 star treatment from caring people rather than being preyed upon by lowlives. If you want and excellent experience and you need a Verizon product, please go see Will Drumwright at the Macon Road location!! read more
