We had a good sales experience at Electronics Express when buying all new kitchen appliances but…read moretheir third-party delivery service is terrible. This third-party said they were with Ship Happens. We paid a premium to have them install a Bosch dishwasher. They didn't bring the right equipment to install the dishwasher and said it was against company policy for them to run the lines. I expressed my frustration over the situation. I went outside to call Electronics Express who didn't even know the name of their third-party delivery service and was on the phone with them for about 30 minutes trying to figure out what we needed for the dishwasher. They ended up leaving the microwave in the box in the middle of the kitchen floor, unboxed the remaining appliances, left them in the garage and told my husband they felt "disrespected" and left. From the time they arrived late afternoon on a Friday, it was obvious they didn't want to do this job. It was the worst service and customer service I have ever experienced! Electronics Express, I have bought from you many times and have had a good delivery experience. You need to change delivery services if you intend to stay in business.

We had an awful experience at Electronics Express Hixson recently. When we tried to return an item…read morethat we were told could be returned, the assistant manager Nathan was was a smart ass, condescending A-hole to us. After arguing this for a few minutes he stated that he is refusing to take the item back and smirked at us. My wife asked him to call the store manager and he refused with another smirk on his face. I told him that he doesn't know how to talk to customers and smirking at us isn't helping the situation. He said "I am going to keep smirking because y'all are crazy". I was absolutely shocked that someone in a customer service position would speak to us that way. After some more arguing we were leaving the store when we heard him say something we couldn't understand. When my wife asked what he said, his reply was "I didn't say anything. Maybe it was just the voices in your head." I called the district manager who promised me that Nathan would be disciplined, but he could not tell how or when that would happen. I know he cannot tell me something like that, but I thought I would try anyway. I finished my call with the district manager by saying "I expect Nathan to be fired for speaking to us that way. I think you would feel the same if you and your wife were treated the way we were. You can either have us and anyone we can influence as your customers, or you can have Nathan as your employee but you cannot have both."

#StopAsianHate I was…read morein the Best Buy store in Hixson Tennessee today trying to return a projector. An employee Leevi helped me but told me that there's a restocking fee. I was not informed about the restocking fee when I made the purchase. Then a manager Christy came over and told me that there was nothing she could do for me. She said that I should have signed for the restocking fee twice before I made the purchase. But this was an online order for in-store pick up so I wasn't aware or have any knowledge of the restocking fee policy. After a few minutes, that manger told me that the restocking fee policy would have been on my order confirmation email. I showed her the email but there was no restocking fee stated. Then she told me again that there was nothing she can do for me and if I wanted to have all my restocking fees waived, I would have to buy the totaltech membership for $199.99. I felt that I was treated differently due to my Asian descent and I let the manager know that. She then said: "you're pulling the race card?" And: "you can get out the store now." When she called 911, she gave a description of me as an Asian man. She told the operator that I may have a weapon. I was in shorts and tshirt so you can clearly see that I don't have any weapons on me. I was a police officer in Virginia so I know you can't just throw me out of the store because you don't want to help me due to my race. The manager told the officers to ban me from this store. I didn't threaten anyone nor have any weapons on me. This is discrimination to the next level. If Best Buy is OK with this behavior then just let me know so my family and I can shop somewhere else where we don't get treated differently due to our race.
