Yesterday, 03.28.26 my husband and myself went to Verizon in Canandaigua for a new phone for myself since mine was taking a crap. We've been there twice in 7 years and this group of gentlemen were amazing and so helpful. They made the time go by fast. They didn't give us anything we didn't need. We walked away very very happy. Ironically, we got to meet one of our neighbors who is the manager there. I forgot his name but he was amazing. The whole crew was. 10/10 recommendations for this group and this Verizon. read more

My phone has a green screen so I went to see what my options were he tried to get on the shared account but he said I didn't have authorization and I would need my ID, which I didn't have to be able to see any options I had available. I said okay thank you and left. I called and got the authorization set up and went to get my ID. I returned to the store and he rolled his eyes at me and told that me I just have to make a claim online. I have always dreaded going to get a new phone it's usually a hassle and takes forever. My boyfriend and I recently went to get new iPhones and a new Apple Watch and Phill was so incredibly helpful. I purchased an Otter Box Defender for $59.99 from this store in Canandaigua for my LG3 cell phone also purchased at this location. The product has a limited lifetime warranty. When I visited the store to inquire about this warranty a sales rep told me that my phone's Otter Box glass protector WOULD NOT be covered because it WAS NOT the glass protector on the phone. When I purchased the glass protector, the first sales rep went to a back room to install it on my phone, that's when he switched out the glass for another type. He never informed me that he had done an old trick of switching out one product for a cheaper one. The cheaper one shows cracks. Yet I was told I could not exchange the damaged part for a new one. Unreal. There's an AT&T store just yards away, I recommend you stop there. This place is run by chiselers. read more

This establishment is a scam and provides horrible customer service. My wife and I visited this store yesterday to purchase a NEW phone (new being the operative word). The sales person was cordial and helped us and sold us the phone (iPhone 8Plus) which my wife wanted. However, upon running some errands and getting home we realized there was a problem with the the phone...it lacked a SIM card. We visited a corporate Verizon Store and after looking up the phone serial number the informed us that we purchased a "used" phone. We were told to return to return to this store and seek remedy. We returned to the store 5 hours after purchasing the used phone to get remedied, and received HORRIBLE customer service. We arrived, they proceeded to tell us that we did not have a used phone, that would be impossible, what happened was that the sales associates decided to break corporate policy, vendor policy, and basic decency by opening a new iPhone, taking out the SIM card, putting the SIM in a different phone, and it was merely a clerical error. After speaking to Verizon Support we found that this type of behavior is completely inappropriate and they were recommended to remedy the situation. We asked for my wife's old phone, and a refund, however, we were DENIED this. The problem was that the phone was in a lock box and the two associates present in the store could not access the box. There was no Manager present to assist us, the associates could not assist us, and they were UNWILLING to provide any remedy except slip a random SIM card into our phone to make it operational. We left the store planning to return this morning, get a verified NEW phone to remedy the situation and speak with a manager. My wife returned this morning do to that, and was abruptly, and rudely, told that there was NOTHING that they would do for her. She ended up having to get a refund, get her original phone back and told there was nothing they would do for her. The associates at this store UNDENIABLY lied, misrepresented their products and Verizon Wireless, broke corporate policy, broke vendor (Apple) policy, and have horrible customer service. My recommendation is to never shop this establishment they value their commission on the sale more that the customer and their willingness to return. They are rude, condescending, and, simply put, LIARS. Shop here at your own risk. If this single establishment behaves in this manner, I can only imagine what other stores in this chain do. My elderly parents received horrible, rude service from James Pullano, a sales rep working at the Canandaigua location. They went into the store looking to upgrade their phones. In their 70s, they made it clear that they were not tech savy. Mr. Pullano asked for the account password which my mother gave him. He repeatedly told her that she was "confused" and had the wrong number. They ultimately called customer service to discover that she was not at all confused, but rather he was a poor typist. They got beyond that and he asked for her email address, she doesn't have one. She simply doesn't use email. Mr. Pullano told her that she better get with the times, and that her life would only get harder if she didn't keep up. At her age, she has no desire to "keep up". After they left the store, they realized that all of her contacts were listed twice. They returned to the store to find Mr. Pullano and another female employee outside smoking. My parents approached and explained the situation. Mr. Pullano's reply was, "Don't worry about it." She asked that he fix it. He told her to do it herself, knowing full-well that she didn't know how to. She asked again that he delete the second set of contacts. He refused. When she said that she intended to speak to a manager or fill out a survey, they just laughed, and said "Go ahead". Despicable and disrespectful. Shame on you Mr. Pullano, and shame on Verizon. read more

If I could give (negative) -stars as a review for this Verizon location, I would! When I went there today for information, the female clerk was unfriendly, interrupted me twice while I was speaking, and quite frankly, RUDE!! I won't be back to that store EVER. read more

My wife and I had a great experience at the store today, especially because of Stephanie Vindigni. She was kind , courteous and very knowledgeable. She helped us through the buying process and setting up the phones to communicate with our car and our computers. This is not our first experience with Stephanie. A few months ago she also helped our son with a problem with his phone. People like Stephanie make visiting your store a pleasure. read more

When my S5 was broken I went to this store to hopefully get the S7. The sales associate that I worked with did nothing but tell me the bad things about the Samsung S7. He basically told me that they did not have any in the store and that they saw so many returns on them that he would not sell me one. He talked me into the Lg V20. that is two months ago. I have had nothing but problems with this phone. Breaking up and not being able to get my text messages on my car. Which I used to be able to do. Not a happy Verizon customer right now. read more

It is worth any drive to go elsewhere. I find they confront you instantly at the door and are condescending sales-types, not technically knowledgeable types, trained to feel they are expert in all areas in and out of the store (despite their relative inexperience). They tell you false things with the attitude that they are just common knowledge and "why would I think otherwise". We have given them multiple tries over the long term. This particular shop should always be avoided unless they publicly can prove that there is a new and wildly different approach to their clientele. read more
