I left work early so i could go get the new IPhone 15 plus and get a plan too with Verizon but I walked in and nobody even acknowledged that I was there and there was 3 workers all with a customer but they couldn't have even said anything to me while 2 workers walked right in front of me twice without saying a single word. Do Not Do business w/ this retailer. My experience was buying a charger. For $50 then after a couple weeks it does not work anymore. They refuse to exchange or return. The suggested that I go through the manufacturer. Avoid at all costs. I would give negative starts if possible. read more

I didn't tell him about my horrible experience at the Verizon store on Buford Drive near the The Mall of Georgia because I didn't want to bring any negativity into this already welcoming location. I have to say Jonathon was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. He answered every question I had and didn't rush me one bit. He even made me laugh with his funny stories. I won't go to other Verizon stores anymore. I started going to this one as it's almost literally across the street from my house. I went last month after dropping my phone in some water to try and upgrade to an iPhone. They were great with walking me through the process, helping me figure out which phone to get (he actually told me spending the extra couple hundred on more GBs wouldn't make a difference for what I needed the phone for, my wallet is still thankful!), and then getting me started on Edge. The salesman who was helping me also gave me great advice on which case to buy (I didn't want to even TOUCH the phone without a case on it!) and showed me how a quality screen protector made a difference over a standard one. I had my 13 month old son with me, who wasn't very satisfied with how long the process was taking. One of the other salesmen who wasn't even working with me came over to observe how the Edge program worked on the store's side of things, and actually played with the baby for a bit (giving me a small break and keeping the baby pretty entertained). It's not too often these days you find a store, especially a cell phone store, where you feel comfortable enough letting a salesman pick up your 13 month old child and goof around with him. Not once did I feel strong armed or pressured into a purchase, and I genuinely felt that each decision that they advised me on was for my best interest and not their paychecks. read more

I went to this Verizon store to buy a new sim card and to look for a new phone case. Everything went smooth. The employee was friendly and answered all questions I had about their phone cases. I did take off one star due to the fact that it did take some time to grab an employee's attention while they were just sitting at their desk. read more

Watch out for these independent stores. They are not Verizon corporate and they work on commission. A sales person named Asa Johns outright lied to me, made changes to my account I didn't authorize and charged me for things I would not have been charged for at a corporate store. The Mall of Ga. store had to help me undo everything the next day...Thank You to Melissa Lincoln, a sterling, caring Verizon employee who even called me on her own time to follow thru and offer her support. I think because I am a 68 year old woman, Asa Johns thought he could take advantage of me and I wouldn't know the difference. He even folded the final paperwork before he handed it to me and never went over it with me. After I went over everything the next day I returned everything and told him I was taking my business to people I could trust at a corporate store. He was extremely rude to me, refused to return the money for the bogus charges and even charged me a restocking fee, to add insult to injury. The day before, he had told me I had 14 days to bring things back with no problem if I changed my mind. There was NO mention of a 50.00 "restocking fee"! I have been a Verizon customer for more than a decade and I have always had great customer service from them. It is too bad that this kind of shell game is going on to give them a bad name. read more

I'm not used to anything like this. I go to this store and find out later that it isn't corporate in the first place. I go in, everyone has a desk. I only want a 32GB SD card for my Samsung Tablet. They tell me someone will be with you shortly. After that I'm looking around the store and can't find a damn thing for at least 8 minutes. Now I'm impatient at this point. I go to the nearest rep and tell him, "So I don't have to stay in this store longer than I have to, do you carry 32 or 64GB SD cards?" At this time, by miracle or magic, it has to be by magic as I don't believe in miracles another rep came finally. I told him what I wanted and they only had 2 and 4gb SD cards. He had to go to the back to check and there still wasn't any that I was looking for. I told him thanks for your help and moved on. This is an independent store and not corporate. Meaning, if you buy something from there no other legit Verizon store can help you with a return. read more

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!! We had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Shevon from this store at the Riverbend music festival in Chattanooga. He never told us that he was not with the local corporate store. They were running a BOGO FREE on Samsung S9. When I told him I was interested in the S9+, I was told the second one would be free. In fact he said multiple times that the second phone was free. I purchased the phone on Friday night. On Saturday night, I got a call from him saying the charge did not go through, could I come by and have them run it again. I did and was I surprised when I was charged twice. I sent him a text about the situation and he said he would take care of it. Two weeks later, I sent a second text because the charge was still there. I finally had to dispute the charge through my credit card company. Then come to find out, I was only getting a credit for the S9, not the S9+ on my bill. Luckily for me, Kayan at Verizon toll free number gave me a credit for the rest. She was embarrassed that someone representing Verizon did this. read more

I had bought a basic phone here awhile back. All was fine,got what I needed. Recently I went in to have an I5 phone activated from another carrier that was unlocked. I had heard that this can be done. Well they transferred my account to this phone and charged me. A few weeks later I started getting SIM card errors. Stopped into another Verizon store and they told me that model was not compatible with Verizon network. Needless to say I confirmed this on Verizon website. I had to now buy a new phone. This is not factory store.Factory store would not have charged for the original transfer and would have told me that phone was not compatible. I hate deceitful companies. read more

No, I am not just one upset customer(today will be my 3rd chance I'm giving them). I just bought a Samsung galaxy note 3 and am now going to that same location for the 3rd time about the same exact issue. My phone was charging fine for the first week or so and then it would charge slowly and some morning I'd wake up to a dead phone. On the screen it would say to use the "original charger and cable" which I was using (I took screen shots to prove it to them). I thought it might be the charger so I went and they gave me a new charger. Then I went home and 2 days later the same issue arrived so they checked and said it was the port from the phone so they gave me a brand new Samsung galaxy note 3. Today I'm having the same issue with phone #2. I don't know if it's a galaxy problem or the retailer but it's definitely one of those. I don't trust them and will never be buying a phone from them again. Just like Paul R. Said stay away from independent retailers. Other Verizon corporate stores can't help you for any returns. I agree with the others that customer service isn't great and they make you wait a while until they finally get up to help you. read more
