two hours of standing while we opened a new account. Then im told to get my veterans discount I must wait 30 days and call customer service. ok, so I did and they told me to go on line or if I have my DD214 to directly to the store. So, back to the store I go. More waiting in line and then Im told they cant help me because their not really a Verizon store. REALLY? Everything in the place says Verizon. So they scan my DD214 and email it to me. Wow, so helpful. So back home and go online except Verizons discount page directs me to an Employer info and headquarters of my Verizon employer? $#@*&%$ This store is NOT helpful and once your hooked in a contract, your old news. Ok, so the store mngr calls snd apologizes for the inconvenience and offers her assistance. So she encounters the same glitch in Verizons web site that I did. But, the attitude was much diffetent and eager to help. So they are working on getting my veterans discount so I don't have to wait around. A little effort in customer service goes a long way! Especially with the techno-disadvangetged like me. I'm pleased with the improved service and customer care. Now we wait to see if Verizon holds up its end. read more

Manny Escamilla waited on me this morning in Baker's Verizon store. Were they busy, yes. Were people ahead of me, yes. But he came up and asked me what I needed and tried a quick fix, which didn't work, then told me he would be with me as soon as he finished with his current customers. He was very polite and knowledgeable. He fixed the problem with my husband's phone, a complicated fix, and I was out the door in 40 minutes with a smile. Let me just say I went in dreading the ugh I have to get new phones, but the associate helping me was absolutely AMAZING! My husband and I walked in with the intention to cancel his phone plan and switch to a different carrier. We had called the corporate Verizon four different times asking about deals. Every time we called corporate we were told incorrect information and just given the run around. It was ridiculous and my husband was so fed up he decided to switch to a different carrier. We walked into the store to cancel his plan and Amanda greeted us right away. We explained what we had been dealing with at corporate and informed her that we were considering seriously changing carriers. She was very understanding and answered all of our questions but she asked us lots of questions to figure out what we were wanting. Mitch was also very helpful explaining the pros and cons of every phone we asked about. After about an hour talking to them about all of the phones and different deals going on not only had my husband changed his mind about switching carriers but we decided to switch my carrier to Verizon. We entered the store around 1:30 p.m. and left at 7:50 p.m. Amanda spent about 4 1/2 hours calling different Verizon departments to try and sort out different problems due to my switching carriers. A lot of that time was spent on hold waiting to speak to someone who would then transfer us to a different department where we would be put on hold yet again. It was very frustrating and if it had not been for how friendly and helpful Amanda, Mitch, and the other employees at the store were we 100% would have ended up adding my husband to my carrier. Overall I would give the store and employees my husband and I spoke with 5 stars! They were all very helpful and friendly including Amanda and Mitch. The corporate side of this company that we had to deal with is the reason this is not a five star review. The departments we dealt with were very time consuming and not very helpful with solving our problems. read more

I wanted to send a thank you for the Baker team each one spent hours working with Verizon tech, I was beyond trusted  as my iPad pro burnt down. Mitch initiated the whole process. And was so patient and kind. Misty and Amanda called in and made sure that I got the correct iPad pro when they sent the wrong one with the wrong GB. Misty then called and spent an hour working  to get tech to understand that my 2nd iPad was never sent. I was so angry, this team was so kind and made sure they found us a solution. 2 months later we get a lady from Boise and low and behold a iPad pro shows up. With some credits, thanks to this Baker team!!! Wow. Josh calls and spends his time finding my information and restoring  everything,  keeping  my faith. Amanda today pays my bill and saves me more money and we are now ordering  a phone. This team, their manager is why we will come back! Thank you GO! read more

I went to the verizon store on Black Friday. I was greeted by an employee named Joshua who offered to help me, I told him I would like to update my phone and from the second he walked over and said "what do you need" he was extremely arrogant and rude. After telling him I would like to stay with an Iphone he kept stating to me "you aren't helping me pick you out a new phone", did I not just tell him I wanted to stay with an Iphone? yes, I understand there are different types of Iphones, but he wouldn't even show me what he had so I could see what I would like to upgrade to. After some time he went to the back and grabbed a few phone for me to look at. I asked him what their Black Friday sale was and he said "$400 off any Iphone X, XR, or XS" I tell him I would like to go with the Iphone XS and we start the process of deactivating my old phone and purchasing of the new phone. He starts activating my new Iphone XS and says "oh wait you can only get $100 off this phone, you will need to go with the Iphone X to get the $400 and we are currently out of those and will not will not honor this purchase if we have to order you in a phone. You still want this phone right?" I just kind of starred at him for a minute. You mean to tell me you have been working all day knowing what your Black Friday sale was, you have sold how many countless phones for the sale today and you seem to forget it? in all honesty, I truly felt like he thought I was just another dumb girl coming into the store that he could be deceitful and still get the sale. While I was there he truly made me feel like I was an inconvenience, the way he treated his coworkers was belittling and rude, he made a big deal out of someone using his pen. I really hope that it was just a bad day for him, but even if it was he should never make a customer feel the way he made me feel or treat his coworkers with anything less then respect. read more
