I checked online and the main brand new Verizon on Mcknight rd said it took equipment returns. I already reviewed that location they sent me to this location saying they do take returns. I walked in with my equipment and had to wait about 20 minutes until one of the reps was not busy with a customer. He told me they do not take returns except when you first call verizon an get a return authorization. Ok so no=w I am pissed spent 20 minutes at first store then another 30 minutes at this store only to have to go outside and spend almost 90 minutes not he phone waiting for a verizon rep. Finally I got someone to talk to and they accepted the return and gave me a return number which I then brought back into the store. The rep in the store filed the info and took the return info and took the equipment. overall terrible experience. The store itself is tiny and is geared mostly to phone sales. I am not sure how to rate this transaction.?????? The store reps where nice and friendly. The store clerks were in a bad spot as well as Verizon makes it so difficult to do returns on equipment. I would say I give the store reps 4 stars but 1 star for Verizon so I am thinking 2 stars is plenty.

But I thought I'd give Computiverse a try since I had had so many good experiences with them in the past. Paul began the surgery and told me that my hard drive was on the verge of cardiac arrest. He explained to me that a new solid state replacement was available, that had no moving parts, and that it would provide an upgrade from the original part. So I took my external hard drive with the latest back-up to him and he did the change-out. This thing is now lightning fast! Faster than it has ever been! And I am thrilled with the results! During a routine cleaning and replacment of heat transfer compund in August 2022 the receptionist, David, called to explain that during the process the keyboard broke. The technician, Connor, explaned that it was probably due to the age of the device causing brittleness. Over the next months, at least 4 replacement keyboards were installed. Each time the keyboards had functional failure of some of the keys but in every case, there was a deformation of the keyboard in the same spot. Something was distending the keyboard from the backside in the same spot. On each replacement, the keys in that section failed outright or had intermittent problems. Ultimately, even using a keyboard stated to be an OEM part suffered the same problem. Rob was adamant that he could not properly diagnose the problem with out having the password for computer access. I could not imagine how full access to the computer's function would solve a physical mechanical problem. I opened the inner back compartment, located the a screw in the place where keyboard was deformed, removed it and the problem was resolved. Rob, I am cancelling my appointment today and sadly will never be using your services again.

Told me that my phone could not be fixed. That I needed to replace my phone. That if I did he would include a tablet for .99 cents and credit my account $99. Then only have to pay an extra $10 a month. He did not tell me that he was adding an extra line. When I got home something just didn't seem right. So I called Verizon. They fixed my old phone in about 10 minutes. I returned the table and the phone. Now they are trying to charge me for canceling a line. Never deal with this store. I have wasted tons of time and have experienced tons of aggravation. All because I asked to hav her the phone that I paid insurance on for 2 years fixed.

After about 4 minutes an new recording come on and said they have high call volume and couldn't help me and then disconnected. I did this 3 times and got the same results. On the fourth time I got into a que that said the rep would use dual authentication when the came on the line. I got that message 5 or 6 times but no rep came on. After being on hold for one hour, my home security system notified me the internet was back up. Never did get to speak to anyone. No option to speak with a person was presented. Tomorrow I will start looking into alternatives to Consolidated Communications. I would not even give my experience one star but zero stars was not an option.
