Let me preface my remarks by noting that I am technically challenged and was quite nervous about seeking a new iphone! Fortunately we were helped thru the process by sales tech, ""GARRET ,at the Decatur, Texas store! He was extremely courteous and patient, answering all our questions (some more than once) ! The customer service here is not professional at all. We were given false information by an employee whom no longer works there. This information cost us a lot of money. It's been months and all we get is we're working on it. It's sad that they don't care more about the people who they're supplying service too. I live 45 minutes to the closest Verizon and this store is the one. Every time I go I have had the worst luck. Part of it is due to my own ignorance, but had the staff been more knowledgeable I wouldn't have been so unlucky. First time I needed to return a wireless internet tool quickly before the expiration so I called the store to ask if they would take it back since I bought it at another location while visiting family. No answer! I called for days and either the number wouldn't work or just no answer! And the voicemail "wasn't set up" so I was not going to get a call back. I decided to call the 800 number and asked them if I could return the product anywhere because I originally bought it in Denton. The customer service rep said yes. So I drove 45 minutes to Decatur. The employee spent 30 minutes trying to figure out how to give me a return but then asked where I bought it. Then said sorry we can't accept your return here because we aren't a corporate store. It took me two months to finally get that matter resolved. Then today I called the Decatur store again to ask if I could get my husband's track phone switched over with the same number he has. First no answer at 9:05 am on a Wednesday. Called back about 10 minutes later and was surprised to get an answer. He said yes just bring it in. ***Ok, I am ignorant. I didn't know I needed to have my husbands account number and PIN number to do this. Didn't learn that till I arrived at the store. (Again...a 45 minute drive for me). The employee was nice and apologetic. He assumed my husband was on the same account as me when I had called. He only asked me that after I arrived at the store. I didn't think to tell him over the phone that he purchases his minutes (not sure how that works either). If my husband wasn't working he would have been able to go with me to avoid this waste of time. That's why I called ahead to see if it was even possible since this was a track phone and so that I would be clear. Didn't know to ask all kinds of questions. I assumed all track phones were the same. But maybe if the staff knew to ask these questions and were more knowledgeable it would have saved me a lot of time. Well they lost my business today. I was going to purchase a new phone for me and add my husband to my account. Not going back now that I have the account number and pin. The young man who worked there was very nice and apologetic. I was sure not to be rude or show my frustration because he was a dear. Just wish they all had better training. read more

They are the most unprofessional group of people I have dealt with. I did everything Verizon asked of me to return a phone that was too big for me to hold in my arthritic condition in my hands. Spent way too much money sending back the phone, insuring it, going by the Apple store to have it professionally wiped and when I went to the store to check on my partial refund the girl who has no business being in sales, threatened me with all sorts of nonsense. These people are barely out of high school and need to have some training on how to treat their customers. No receipts or copies of contracts were ever given, I am not even sure they are part of Verizon. But I have two solid pieces of proof I returned and did what Verizon asked of me to return the phone. They tried multiple times to charge me for a phone I returned in perfect condition. The district manager, Brandal Allie lied about how he would handle the situation. I wondered why the store never seemed to have business, I now know. Return my partial refund and quit harrassing your customers. You are an embarrassment to the Verizon name. You might want to incorporate a different system instead of the "post it note" that you claim is your "tell all" to how to do business. What a joke! Keep harassing me and I will turn you in to every business out there including the FCC. read more

I stopped by this store while traveling on Sunday as I had an issue with my phone. The young man (owner) was so helpful and knowledgeable! Thank you, Verizon, Decatur for helping me quickly to get back on the road home with a working device. You have a gem here! read more

By far the best customer service I have encountered with any company. My phone was giving a significant amount of problems and Brandal went above and beyond what was required of him to assist me and FIX the problem! He was very patient! He accommodated me as best he could to ensure we could fix the issue. I'm beyond thankful for him!!! read more
