There is a guys who works here who intentionally takes as long as possible and tries to lengthen conversations for 30-45 minutes so that he doesn't haven't to deal with more customers. Not to mention, he also lies to customers. I actively heard him feeding BS to an elderly couple. All in all- Wait time is ATROCIOUS read more

Mu wife and I recently went to the store to purchase two new iPhones. Our salesperson, Chris, added two $19/month phone warranties through Asurion without asking us. When I called a few days later after receiving a notice from Asurion, Chris was not there. I spoke to a female employee who said she could not explain what happened since she was not my salesperson, but said I should be happy that I got the phone for "free" with a trade-in and essentially scolded me for not getting the insurance. As I continued talking about the situation, she hung up on me. She was defensive, condescending, and not at all interested in helping me understand or rectify the situation. Also, while I was there getting my new phone, another customer came in to return his old phones that he wanted to trade in but did not have when he purchased his new phones. Chris asked with whom he had worked and then said his salesperson had just gone to the back of the store and he would let him know. Chris came out and said he had told him. The customer waited for at least 15 minutes, got tired of waiting and left with his phones. His salesman came out a while later and asked where the customer was. When he was told he had left, he just shrugged his shoulders and indicated it was not his problem. I suppose he was on break but a professional would interrupt his break to help their customer. Also, I do not understand why Chris or someone else could not have accepted the trade-in since they can access any account. The poor customer now has to make another trip. This pretty much summarizes the attitude of the individuals working the store. They do not care about the customer. I warned my wife about shopping at third party phone stores. She understands now. Next time we will go to the Apple store as I have always done. read more

I went into the St Joseph Verizon store to discuss my bill because it wasn't what was agreed to when I signed up with them. I was being overcharged. On a Saturday afternoon there was only one person waiting on a customer in the store. He greeted me and said that someone would be with me in a moment. Twenty minutes later I was still waiting and the customer he was waiting on actually asked him to find someone to help me. He went in a back room and returned telling me that someone was coming to help me. Ten minutes later a young woman came out and asked me to come to another table. I had to move all my belongings and my service dog to the table next to the table I was already sitting at. Why couldn't she just sit at my table? They are identical tables! When I explained my billing issue she practically rolled her eyes at me. She was rude and totally disrespectful. (Had I interrupted her nap in the back room?) She told me that they no longer had that old plan so it was changed and it added more charges to my account. When I asked who changed it without my permission she said that she didn't have a clue. That she couldn't read people's minds and she only knew what she was thinking! What a little witch! She told me that I was getting a discount for providing my own cell phone. I explained to her that I upgraded my phone with Verizon and just paid it off early and didn't provide my own phone. She argued with me. As if I didn't know where and when I paid for my own cell phone! When I told her I would go to another cell phone provider she told me to go ahead! If this is the way Verizon customer service treats their loyalty customers I definitely not recommend them! I had wonderful customer service and support in the Phoenix area but this person is the very worst I have ever experienced! She has no business whatsoever working with people. And I am going to change my service provider due to her. read more

I'm really frustrated with my recent experience with Verizon. All I wanted was a phone upgrade. I tried to do it online, chatting with agent, but when it came time to process the order for the trade, my credit card kept getting denied. It would charge and then credit my card right back. So they had to cancel the upgrade and I had to go into my local store. So I did that. At the store they told me I get an iPad with upgrading to an iPhone 16 pro. I didn't know anything about that. I was only expecting to upgrade my phone. But they ended changing my plan when I really didn't want to, but was assured it would be fine. But now I'm paying for Disney plus and Apple Arcade. But what really frustrated me was it was not explained clear enough that the iPad would be paid off over time in installments payment each month. I saw that when I got home. So then I chatted with an agent online who told me not to worry, that it could be canceled and I wouldn't have to pay anything I just had to wait a few days for things to be reflected on the bill. I have the screen shots from part of that conversation and that agent said they would leave notes in my file. When it came to returning the iPad. I was originally told by another agent online that I wouldn't have to pay the $75 restocking fee, but the store still made me pay it. I had to pay $23 in store, while the rest of it was taken out in the amount I had to pay for the taxes and fees for the iPad. So I'm out $50 for an iPad I never even asked for to begin with. Had I not had the issue with my online upgrade, none of this would have ever happened. I did chat with an agent online who said I should not have been charged the restocking fee and if they could they would have forced the store to refund me, but because the store is a TCC they could, not. Please make sure that reps at the stores are not forcing things on to customers, because that's what it felt like to me. I was never even given the option to decline the iPad. read more

We came into the store to add a line the evening after Christmas. We were greeted and helped by Cody (aka: Toby) immediately. Cody was helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, easy to understand and just plain easy to work with. He went beyond what was expected by helping set up the phone and actually listening when we let him know what we were looking for. Make sure to ask for Cody. I'm confident who you work with makes a big difference! Thank you! read more

Employee sold me a phone plan that it turned out was no longer valid. Took several calls and visits to try to get it straightened out. At first was told that I could bring the phone back or get a different (more expensive) plan. Finally got to supervisor Chris, who told me he was working to make it right, and that he would get back to me with a plan that would be similar in cost. Never did call me back, even after I called 3 times for him. I ended up calling Verizon, and spoke to someone who was a very big help. Also, long waits at the store before being helped by employees the times I went in to deal with this. read more

Max was very helpful today and answered all my questions with patience ! Very pleased with my visit and purchase

The customer service at this Verizon store is awful. They quoted me $60 for my plan and when I got my first bill it was $90. I called Verizon and they said the store quoted me the cost with two devices and I only have one. I took the device back to the store and the second I told the store clerk they quoted me the wrong cost on the plan and that I wanted to cancel the plan and return the device they immediately started treating me like I was a hostile customer. The guy "Chris C" who sold me the plan was standing behind the counter but wouldn't look or talk to me. He made some other clerk talk to me. They told me they would return the device but I had to pay the $50 restock fee. Only after I said I wouldn't pay the restock fee and the clerk went and found the store manager hiding in the back room did they waive the restock fee. They also would not help me get the first bill cancelled, they said I had to call Verizon directly. I called Verizon directly and asked them to waive the first month bill and they said because I had the plan for two weeks at that point that they would only pro rate me the last two weeks cost. Customer service has gotten so bad. All I really wanted was for the store to tell me "sorry we made a mistake" and refund me the money I paid for the device. Instead what I got was no apology, they tried to take $50 from me and the store manager didn't even have the leadership to come out and talk to me instead he had his clerks treat me terrible. read more

My visit today at 2015 niles road at the Verizon store was a very pleasant one. The sales associate "Jacquelyn N" made my visit very easy with her knowledge and effort to help me with making the right choices. She was very informative and even more friendly. I will not hesitate to ask for her assistance on any issues I may have in the future. Thanks Jackie You're great !!! H.Frederick Granke. Aug 30 2017. read more

I am beyond disgusted with the service I just received! I wish I didn't have to think it was even a form of racism, but as I sit here and recall the events that just happened, I am astounded at the level of service I just received, considering I've been with verizon for FIFTEEN years, (and have had MANY reps, who's color matters not because I see human!:) and just finally talked my mom into getting a new phone with verizon (after trying for the last three years!) I called them, asked the hours and told them we were on our way, the guy said just ask for Greg, I said "ok cool." I was super respectful of their time Because it was pushing closing time, and called back, asked for Graig and told the nice gentlemen on the phone he could go ahead and get the phone ready and lookup my account in an effort to be respectful of his time and make the process faster so he didn't have to stay passed closing. I walk in he says, (Literally this is the FIRST thing he says after we ask if he is Greg!) " Here is your phone, just sign right here and we're good!!!" I mean we DID still have like 30-40 minutes until close) I was like... Whoah, hold on one second I have a few questions... started explaining I've been with verizon 15 years but have had a few experiences that were not ideal with reps saying phones were Xxx$ and then getting billed all crazy amounts and having no receipts to justify the amount of "presented purchase." Told him nothing do with him, just explaining my position so he understands why I have a few questions... So I asked- wait why does it say my phone bill will be 297$ next month when it is 70 this month, every month? He said, "Oh we don't go by that number it is just a number they give you... it's not accurate you can go online at my Verizon later and look it up." (Mind you this is the info he has on his iPad regarding charges, above where he just asked me to "sign and we are good!") I was like.. well I'm on a pretty stiff budget so I need an accurate number for next month's bill.. asked a few more questions... told my mom in a side convo I didn't want her getting "screwed" with her Bill Because I'd be the one having to call and Fix it. So I asked the lovely guy if he would be able to provide us with a receipt for the bill? He said, "NO!" I was like... well that's the problem I guess is I need some sort of verification for what you're telling us sir... he said, "Do you wanna go somewhere else to buy a phone?!" To which I said, "No, I told you I just talked my ma into coming here and getting a phone and I've been with Verizon 15 years and was so excited we came here at closing time. Two minutes later a white Rep comes up, I ask him the same question about if he can provide a receipt he says, "Yes absolutely." I was like... well I'm confused why then this guy just told me no? At this point I was slightly frusrated because I had expressed my excitement and tried to be mindful of their time and respectful, but when you're spending THIS much money on a purchase and one guy already asks if you wanna go somewhere else and tells you he cannot provide a receipt for your purchase.. ‍it's a little disheartening, especially when you asked FOR him per HIS request so HE could get commissions and greeted him with kindness and tried to explain your excitement... but he was rude to you and Kurt the ENTIRE time AND gave a completely DIFFERENT answer two minutes prior to the other guy..:???? I'm just confused!?? So we had to leave this place without a phone we were SO excited to get. We just wanted a receipt for purchase and some sort of written communication for what they were stating verbally! Instead, we got treated poorly by the man who had a different color than us:( this makes me sad, because again, I've had Verizon for FIFTEEN YEARS, and I see NO color because my own children are OF color!!! But when I left and reflected I had to think in my mind that this was the issue with this whole "white privilege" BS! Little did that man know- aside from my professional dress, that I grew up in Benton Harbor and the skirt I was wearing I've had for at least ten years! Because like I tried to tell him, I live on a strict budget!!! I work 3 jobs to provide For my family and I was simply trying to get my elderly mother a cell phone on MY plan! Period. No reason for the disrespect and the different answers within two minutes Sorry y'all lost my business after so many years of loyalty! Im so sad! I wish other people were like me and didn't see color read more

We had a simple question on why the phone was so quiet on a call. The 'gentleman' who waited on us didn't even look at the phone, told us to go to the Apple Store. He made us feel like we were inconveniencing him by just being there and looking for a little help. For the money we pay for our plan, was expecting a lot more on their end. Honestly, it was almost comical how poor this employee treated us. read more

Have been a customer of Verizon for many, many years, so when I went there on Sept.11th looking to purchase a new phone, I knew exactly who I wanted to talk with. His name is Corey, and when I have gone in before to ask a question about my "old" Iphone4, Corey was very helpful, courteous and very knowledgeable. I am a pre-pay customer and I was looking to buy a "newer" phone, but could not afford one that cost $400-$700. Corey looked on line and found me a great pre-paid phone for $200!! Sold!!, I told him. He was wonderful. He moved everything over from my old phone and put it all on my new one. He was very, very patient with this old lady, even when I asked him many questions. And always with a smile. Now I'm sure that some people will read this and say "Well that's his job", but I am hear to tell you that Corey went above his job and a lot more than most people, that only want a pay check. I have been in retail for many years, and most of the time you will hear complaints but when someone like this wonderful young man goes above and beyond, well corporate should know about it. So if you need anything relating to your cell phone or are in need of a new one, ask for Corey when you go there. read more

I broke my phone over the weekend. I also work in healthcare-LTC so my phone is essential in my ability to do my job. Also hyper-sensitive to social distancing. I greatly appreciated the measure put in place to ensure everyone's safety. I was able to get my new phone with minimal contact with others while still receiving excellent customer service. Everyone in the store was great. Aaron specifically is who helped me and I'm thankful. Thank you for making the process so easy. read more

After a year of hell we returned back to VERIZON at the same. FOOLISHLY we had listened to a promotional ad from SPRINT for the "cut your bill in half" plan. So now about a year later the SPRINT bill has never been what the salesman said it would be. We are still waiting for the rest of the buy back cards from SPRINT for our old equipment. Add to this text messaging is hit and miss if it works or not and connectivity is not reliable even in town locally here. Some people we could text w VERIZON, won't get out texts on the SPRINT network. Some who we are able to text may stop at any time and might or might not work again. Even in our house we have to walk around in order for our devices to connect to SPRINT to. Worked w NICK at TCC Verizon store at Niles and SJ Drive St Joe. He worked w us to return to VERIZON was little pain as possible. Getting the new devices set up and activated in a fraction of the time it took with our change to SPRINT. The SPRINT visits lasted HOURS and very little of what the sales people said came true. Complaining to the SPRINT Executive Offices accomplished many more waisted calls and time. During the SPRINT buy back process the person on the phone (who was almost impossible to understand I can't guess what country they were in). She went thru all the devices one by one with a Verizon person also on the line. She gave us the turn in prices for all the devices. Then in the mail we got a different number of return packages than she had said and then we received now a third number of buy out cards than were told. And with amounts that didn't match what the rep had said. Going to SPRINT was probably one of the biggest mistakes I've can say I've made. I was w Verizon for years and I should have just stayed. Thank you to Nick and crew at the SJ TCC Verizon store for making the switch back as painless as possible. read more

This store is always awesome. Great BOOST! To go in there. Love the staff, they TOSS! The competition away!

I typically get really good customer service here, the staff that has helped me in the past was amazing and super patient with me. But I went in yesterday to ask for help with my IPhone- the screen just randomly stopped working after I had locked it with the flashlight on and have never had such bad service. I asked if here was anything they could do to help with it and he had told me the fasted way to get the problem fixed would be to go to the Apple Store directly. Not a problem, but I had also brought an old LG phone with the slide out keyboard to be activated just in case I couldn't get a phone for a while. Unfortunately the phone has a lock on it and when I asked if there was anything he could do with the lock he said "this technology is too old for my knowledge" and then proceeded to tell me to "google" how to unlock it. The most unhelpful trips I have ever taken to the store, out of the few times I have been there and the most unprofessional employee that has ever offered his help. From now on if I have any problems with my phone I'll be skipping the Verizon store and going straight to the guys at the Apple Store. read more

Have been a Verizon customer with TCC for over 4 years. Have to give a shout out to Becky who is so knowledgeable and patient.

Visited this Verizon retailer a few days ago to acquire a new phone. Max was the very knowledge and efficient employee who took care of my needs, stayed and made sure my new phone was properly activated before I left, and installed all my accessories for me. 10/10 would recommend Max at the Niles Ave Verizon store to anyone. read more

At the Verizon store in St. Joseph location I had an awesome experience with Max Kingsley. He was very patient with me when I was looking to upgrade my phone and plan. He showed me all my options and helped me make the right decision of phone that would best suit me. We then went to his desk to work out which plan would be right for my use and needs. Also he explained to me which options in plans would be the best to choose from. He made the whole experience enjoyable to go through. He gave me his contact information incase I had any future questions or concerns. This man is the best. I would recommend him to anyone in need of help with their phone or plan. I would say that he deserves a raise. Again he made my experience awesome. Go Max. read more

I actually rate the store a 4 because I needed a Wi Fi hot spot which they did not carry..... BUT the Customer service I got from Jackie was a 5+ (actually a 10!).I am working out of town in Bridgman MI and my motel internet did not work for me. My Uncle died just days before and being "connected" is very important. Jackie took the time to find a store which had a "jetpack" (it took a FEW calls).Jackie then said she would help me set it up. I bought the item from a Meijers and returned with a prepaid Verizon card. Since I am "tech challenged" she took the time to do the entire job and show me how it worked. This young woman was incredibly kind and understanding and I can Never thank her enough. read more

I will never go into this store again. I've experienced poor customer service regularly (with a couple exceptions, Max has been great) but the last 2 times with "Joe" were astounding. I purchased a modem for use for home internet. I made sure I understood the return policy because my IT consultant was pessimistic. I had to press him to provide the policy for return of the device AND cancellation of service. He didn't seem to understand the difference. As anticipated, I had to return the device. He informed me I owed $5 for returning this $30 device. Huh? He said there was a $35 restocking fee. I asked for the policy which indicates there is a restocking fee for return of PHONES. When I pointed that out to him, he did not say one word. He tapped on his computer screen and got up and left. No, "I apologize. I'll be right back with your refund." He got up and left. I waited. He returned with cash & that was it. This store has zero investment in customer service and it's pervasive. There is generally a condescending attitude and while I recognize that they have to regularly deal with people who haven't a clue, they assume that's true for everyone. And you better go in knowing they will charge you however they can, warranted or not. There are other options and I will use those in the future. read more

Sheisty sheisty sheisty. Save your time and money and just go to the South Bend store since it is corporate owned and they dont charge an "upgrade fee" which is nothing more than a charge Tcc will make you pay for using that location. Tcc doesn't have to play by corporate rules and will screw you over, they will tell you one amount and a month later when you get the bill it's way different, and not just from taxes. Again... save yourself the trouble and go to South Bend or another location. Hell, a kiosk in the mall would be more honest than this place and they won't try to force their credit card and "upgrade fee" down your throat. read more
