I then asked, before ending the call, whether I would be charged the $275 that was collected at the onset of the call. I was assured that there would be no charges since there were no services rendered/no appointment. SURPRISE, I awoke this morning (after spending yesterday afternoon in an ER) to a receipt for payment! And there is no phone number to speak with billing. You are instructed to call a number, which is the main number then you are transferred. A billing phone number wouldn't be released (I asked). After a second transfer call (first time I waited 30 minutes for a connect!) spoke to billing. The woman was very kind but told me she showed no charge going through on their end. I told her I received the bill and forwarded it to her. I am not convinced that this will be rectified on Dispatch Health side.

I had a procedure done where a nurse anesthetist from this group attended. The NA was kind and…read moreattentive, but the billing procedure and follow up has been excruciating. First, I had to pay up front for the service, even though I had verified that my insurance would cover the anesthesia. Second, I was charged an additional $25 for using a credit card instead of cash to pay for the service. Third, I had to call their billing office twice to get them to actually submit the claim to my insurance company. Fourth, after my insurance company paid the claim I was told it would take at least another month to get me a refund because they only close out their billing once a month. Fifth, I will not be refunded the full amount, even though my insurance paid nearly twice what I had for the service. Instead, I would be responsible for an additional $100. The people I spoke with on the phone told me they were doing me "a courtesy" by even billing my insurance, even though it was all of my legwork that resulted in them getting paid nearly double for the same service. I was absolutely appalled at their lack of customer service. It was clear that they didn't care what I had to say, they already had my money & would be getting more from the insurance company. My procedure was done in December and I will apparently be getting a refund for part of what I paid sometime in April - or whenever they get around to it. If you have any choice in the matter, use a different anesthesia service.

His staff was very friendly and my appt was right on time. Dr Hulbert did not rush through my visit and spent adequate time explaining how a new medication works in my body to reduce migraines. He also discussed any issue that I was having and, of course, gave me an update on the local situation with COVID vaccines. I ask for and received x-rays immediately following my visit with Dr Hulbert and they were taken about 30 yards from his office. The two x-ray technicians, Zack & Rich, were friendly, thorough, and efficient. The overall visit was relaxing, timely, and comforting.

When hub arrived, he handed the intake person his insurance card (it is from a recognized large ins. company in Idaho). She smiled and handed it back to him and asked him to take a seat. He was then taken back and seen by an NP. It wasn't until we got the bill that we realized that, even though St. Lukes is "in-network," the NP was not so our insurance is not paying for any part of this visit. At no time was he informed that the NP was not in-network either by the in-take person or the NP herself. Why on earth would a patient ask if his doctor is "in-network" when the facility is? We feel that this omission was intentional and now we are forced to file a complaint and appeal with our insurance company. These places are making it so apparent that they are all about the profit motive and NOT health care. What are the chances that we will return to this facility? Do they ever consider how their deceptive practices effect the bottom line? Guess not. Still looking for a doc in Boise who is in medicine for the right reasons. I came over to real care and normal substitution medicine at West Valley Cardiology, I was able to get on with my treatment for the stent placed in my heart. I was able to try and finish taking another blood thinner and received GREAT care from Dr. Box. It can be very intimidating to think about switching doctors and especially cardiologist as really you have to change hospitals to make a real change! Doctor Box made that easy to accomplish and I would recommend him to anyone seeking a real change for the better!

Then my Dr calls me a week later to tell me he got some results, but he only got 1 lab result out of the 17 that were ordered. Again, maybe a mishap. I can overlook that. My problem is when I called to find out why my Dr wasn't getting all of the results, I got attitude from the woman on the line. That's where I have the problem and hence the stars in my review. I did nothing wrong. Nor did my doctor. But to give me attitude because I'm asking where the results are (that you incorrectly billed me $1000 for) is ridiculous. My new doctor took her time going over my information and history, never rushing me or treating me as an annoyance, and by the time I left we had outlined a plan and settled on referrals to follow up on my needs. As an adult, I did not want a family practice doctor as my PCP, by choosing an internist I am not forced to sit in a waiting room full of sick kids or littered with toys and such.
