I adore the staff at the Fordham Road location from security to management. Everyone is helpful and know what they are talking about as long as you give them something to go on because cannabis strains are not one size fits all. I bought things I never would have if Franklin the awesome manager did not suggest it to me and I am so grateful. This morning, I went to the Verilife dispensary in Bronx to purchase some cannabis, only to be told by the staff that the pharmacist had decided I could not buy what I had ordered online. The explanation given was that I couldn't purchase any weed with a THC content of 26% or higher. What! I didn't argue with the staff because they are always very professional and pleasant, and I have worked with everyone on the shift for a couple of years. However, it was very unprofessional for the pharmacist not to come out and speak to me personally to explain the situation. I have been a loyal customer for a few years, but that loyalty changed today. You are not the only dispensary in town! read more

This place has very friendly staff. I went about two weeks ago for the first time and I never consumed cannabis so I had no idea what I was doing. But the staff helped me pick the perfect product. I grabbed two disposable vape pens just to try it out and let me just say they gave me the relief that other medications failed to give me. Nys mmj need to amend the regulations though. I went for the first time yesterday. I must say that i was in VERY VERY bad shape from the moment that i walked in. It's weird because i usually feel VERY EMBARRASSED & super self conscious about my condition especially when the symptoms take over. All the gentleman (from the front desk to the two that had a consultation with me) were SUPER nice & informative. They helped me when my symptoms were at it's worse and they even sped up the consultation just a little bit so i could purchase my medicine right away. They were very informative and compassionate. Their facility is very clean and inviting. There was even another patient in the waiting room that selflessly helped regulate my breathing and offered me her own apple juice to bring my sugar back up. I wish i remembered everyone's name but i would love to extend a big thank you. The feeling i felt in there at my worse was so welcoming. It's located in Hunts Point, for me that was a hassle. So, minus 1 star. But it's my understanding the product is better than others. I've been there 3 times, picked up vapes and the last time, capsules. Both work great if sleeping is a problem, the staff is informative and takes the time you need to answer any questions. If pain relief is what you need they will direct you to the right strain. I haven't tried other dispensaries in the metro area, again quality seemed to be an issue with them. Rather than finding out the hard way..the price, yes it's high as opposed to the street but it's pharma grade, you get what you pay for. Worst experience of my life . Will never return to this company again ! Walked in and was having a conversation with the girl at the front desk. Then the manager comes out and asked me to step outside so someone else can walk in before me. I walk with a cane daily due to my injuries and drove over an hour to this location.they expect you to stand outside when you were there first with no place to sit down. No benches no chairs nothing. I highly doubt they're even doing any lab testing on this "medicine" Will leave this state to find medicine before i will return here ... other patients also report very dark oils from this location as well . I really like this place, even though everyone says it's in Hunts Point, blah, blah, blah. Their product actually does what it promotes it will do (they provide more emphasis on strain types). It also doesn't break the bank as it's one of the least expensive dispensaries we have. Their staff is also very good & smart which is very important nowadays. The first purchase I made from them for two vape cartridges didn't go well as one of the cartridges lip piece broke that night when I attempted to use it normally exposing the oil, etc. I notified them ASAP & was surprised when they told me they were aware of the issue already & that they would give me a new more durable cartridge free of charge. These guys seem to value customer service which works well for me. More along that line, their dispensary is the only one I have been to that offers free coffee & tea which is a nice touch sometimes. Again I really like this place but I am really worried things may change due to their merger with MedMen. Time will tell.
