While on my visits to GNC I encounter employees who are either busy texting or trying to sell me some BS that I really don't need, Vitamin Shoppe staff seems more concerned with my needs. I generally leave GNC feeling frustrated or ripped off as opposed to feeling accomplished and educated leaving Vitamin Shoppe. Their employees also seem way better trained in product while GNC's favor the up-sell approach. Vitamin Shoppe is also meathead-free meaning that most of their staff are health enthuiasts as opposed to steroid shooting douchebags. For this reason GNC has completely lost my business and I would suspect a lot of others' as well. I would rather fork over my hard earned dollars to someone who has a concern with my health, than some goon looking to make extra money to fuel his PED habit. It's really refreshing to walk into to this location as they're always more than willing to make a suggestion or answer a question. Because of this they've earned my business. Great prices, too.
