This was a very educational visit. The staff was half-and-half somewhere extremely friendly and helpful. Others gave disdainful looks. They had a great selection of products and ample displays, kiosks, etc. The concierge/security gave the most information about the space itself and the offerings that they have, including events. I probably will check out some of the events that they hold in this space. read more

While the store is nice and has an impressive collection they are not for the community. They held an event and were giving out samples, and when I approached I was told it's for paying customers only. I still went in and bought something but I didn't take the freebies cause I have more respect. This store should close down and allow CAURD holders who actually support the community open up. read more

I just had a really disturbing interaction at Verdi, which was, until now, my fave place. I've been a steady customer, but not after this. I went there with my usual ID, having ordered something online. But wasn't allowed to enter the store because my ID was suddenly not good enough. Same one I've used repeatedly. The door guy wasn't too polite about it, either. Finally, he called someone who might have been the manager (red hair and beard, which I usually like) and he all-but-accused me of lying, when I said "I've used this ID repeatedly and had no idea you wanted a state ID". He looked me in the eye and said "I've told you this before." No, he hadn't. In fact, the only covno we'd had about my ID was that I forgot it, a few weeks ago, and had to come home to get it. Not a bid issue, since I live right across the street from them. But this time, there was a lot of "go away, you junkie" in the way I was spoken to. I started to explain to Mr. Ginger that I can't get a state ID, and, realizing he didn't want to hear it, I said "but you don't want to hear it, do you?" and he said "No, I don't." He might have been having a bad day, but that's no excuse to be that rude to a FORMERLY steady customer. Really....the guy needs someone there who knows about customer service, because he is clueless. Fortunately, there are any number of places I can get pot, and one is *also* right across the street. So, while I love Verdi operas, this particular Verdi can fuck all the way off. read more

The store is very inconvenient. They don't accept Apple Pay and if you don't remember your pin card, then you're gonna waste your time looking for stuff, the Wi-Fi is very slow so when they pull up everything on the iPad, it takes forever.. They also don't accept credit cards either so if you don't know your code and all you have is Apple Pay do not come to the store. read more
