I've lived in Riverhead for 9 years but never realized that the nursery is open to the public. Mr. Jim Warner greeted us warmly and was extremely helpful and informative about decorative trees that we wanted for our patio. In addition to his inventory of trees, shrubs and bushes, there is a wonderful selection of perennial and annual flowers to choose from as well as fine decorative pottery on display. Prices are more than fair too. All in all, it was a terrific experience and would certainly recommend Warner's Nursery to everyone!

I highly recommend using DGN for all your needs, both big and small. Their staff at the nursery is very knowledgeable and friendly, and their prices are great. Support local and give them a try. We were greeted by Maria upon arriving and she showed us around a little and gave us some helpful ideas. She was very knowledgeable. We left that day with a few small shrubs. We returned a few days later to place a larger order which required delivery. Again Maria was a great help to us. We were told it would be likely a week before our large shrubs would be delivered, but I was delighted to get a text upon arriving home saying that they would deliver the very next day! They were great about text communication regarding the delivery, and everything arrived safely. One thing that we were pleasantly surprised about was that they had more plants in stock than it said on their website. It said that they were sold out of many items, however many of those plants (in the heights that we hoped for) were actually there. Definitely worth it to make a trip there to see exactly what is in stock in case things haven't been updated online. They had a 20% off flowering shrubs sale which was a nice bonus. We were very happy with our experiences at Bay Gardens and would definitely return. Everyone was friendly, professional, and (very important during this time) wearing masks. We definitely recommend Bay Gardens!

Lots of activities and it doesn't cost anything to enter, but each activity does cost a few coin. Face painting was $10, I believe the "gold digging" demo was $6 (and there is a sign that suggests you do the other activities before getting your face painted as the paint might not last, which I appreciated). Food was available for purchase and I got a roasted corn that I was forced to split with the kid. The corn wasn't that sweet but still sufficed. I didn't get to look at the plants or any of the nursery items but I will def head back there when in the area when it's time to start planting.
