And- you pay for a cord of wood- you actually get a REAL cord- not the nonsense that most of us might have gotten used to accepting.

More convenient is an actual working website that highlights some of their available trees and shrubs. Occasional sales and promos deliver good values. They have delivered as far as Greenport the far end of the North fork. They have a large variety of plants and flowers. As a good sized place you can take your time looking at all the rows of greenery and also flowers and plants in the greenhouses. Landscapers love this place for their amazing shrubs, hedges and full sized trees. Want to buy privacy fast? Here is the place to order a dozen 8-10 foot trees to block the view of your neighbors from your place. They deliver for a nominal fee. If out for spring flowers. They are the quickest on the draw by bringing in Greenhouse grown fully blossomed plants a few weeks before the other garden centers even have any blossoms at all. Keep plants inside u til mid or early May. The staff are knowledgeable in the outdoor area. They can help you pick out the right combination of landscape trees and shrubs. There easy pull carts you can drag around and add plants to. There is a herbs and vegetable section selling. Things to grow and eat. Small stater lettuce. Some nice rosemary plants. Etc. Lastly inside there is a beach nautical inspired gift shop. Nice for when I cam here with my mother last week. She got a bunch of flowers and a rosemary plant. Colors were awesome.

We were there for a quite a while trying to decide and not one person approached us to offer assistance. Nor did they when we chose our two different Azalea varieties. I notice some folks saying the prices were good. I thought they were on the high side but willing to pay for a fine specimen. One shrub was a good size at almost $200 and the second hovering around $100. I don't like that they do not even offer a guarantee on their stock which makes me think they do not grow their own and the stock is brought in. Sadly, neither one made it and while not completely dead they are pitiful with a total of three flowers per shrub. We won't be returning. There are plenty of nurseries around to choose from on Long Island. I am very disappointed as I was looking forward to this Spring's blooms. Their annuals were also on the high side in price but selection was expansive. I was happy with those but not enough to offset the disappointment and money lost on the shrubs. As a side we are seasoned gardeners so we know what we are doing.
