There was no holding me back that day. If I could, I'd buy everything!!! Everyone is so helpful and knowledgeable. What's great is that everyone who shops there all know each other. That said, they have a nice tropical plant selection, so if that's your thing, it might be worth the trip; but, overall, the place leans much more toward annuals than perennials, and the large tree options were pretty limited, mostly dwarfs, not much variety beyond that. Prices felt higher than what we usually see at other Suffolk County nurseries, though we didn't buy anything to compare directly. What really stood out was the lack of service. The parking lot was full, but it was hard to find anyone actually working or available to help. If you're after perennials, boxwoods, or larger Japanese maples, Forge River has had a much better selection in our experience.

Their home and grounds are lovely and very welcoming. We were extremely impressed with the large selection of plants, trees, shrubs and bushes to choose from. Everything looked so healthy. I purchased the Cat Mint that I was looking for. So happy I found it! There was a number of iron items such as baskets and wall decor for the home and garden.
