I ordered photo prints online for pickup, something I do regularly at CVS. When I arrived at this Walgreens, I went to the photo department and there was nobody there. I waited approximately 15 minutes before someone finally came over to assist me. The employee who helped me was actually very kind and polite, so I want to make that clear. However, there was an issue with my order. My prints were supposed to be framed, but she initially handed me unframed photos. After I pointed this out, she looked into the order and realized that she had actually made my order correctly, but another set of the same photos had accidentally been printed as a duplicate. She asked her manager what to do with the extra prints, and he told her to simply throw them away. This made me uncomfortable because the photos were personal. One showed me in a bikini and another showed me in short shorts, and I did not want photos of myself sitting in a disposal bin with other people's photos where they could potentially be seen, removed, or otherwise end up somewhere they shouldn't. I asked if I could either shred, tear, or cut up the photos myself right there, or even pay for the duplicate prints and take them home. I was more than willing to resolve the issue myself and give the employees the pieces afterward. Instead, the manager argued with me and told me that the photos had already been seen by employees when they were printed, as though that addressed my concern. It did not. He then paged someone who I assume was a supervisor and asked what he should do. I was told that the manager could rip the photos up in front of me. I could not understand why I was not allowed to simply destroy my own photos myself. I specifically explained that the photos were revealing and that I was uncomfortable having an employee handle them when I was standing right there asking to do it myself. I used to be a CVS manager, so I understand how photo departments and photo-disposal procedures work. I know that these bins can sit until they are full before being disposed of, which is exactly why I was uncomfortable leaving personal photos in one. This was not an unreasonable request--I was simply asking for control over the disposal of my own personal photographs. What bothered me most was the complete lack of customer service and professionalism throughout the situation. If I had handled a customer this way when I was a manager at CVS, I would absolutely have been written up. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated experience at this Walgreens. Every time I have visited, I have experienced some type of issue with the way employees interact with customers. The overall atmosphere consistently feels as though employees are annoyed or inconvenienced by customers simply being there. The employee who initially helped me was kind, and I don't blame her for the duplicate prints. My issue is specifically with the management's handling of the situation and the lack of basic customer service. I expected much better from Walgreens.

When we came back at 1pm to pickup the scripts Ms H....y has turned her name tag backwards and hiding the complaint. She apologizes 1/2 assed and suggests there is noting more she can do. You have to be a "member" of the store to shop there, but it's free and you just give them your phone number. You'll get some text messages from them from time to time and that's it. NOTE 2! They do not let bags or purses of ANY size into the store (anti-theft policy, apparently). They do have complimentary self-serve lockers in the front of the store where you can store your bag while you shop, but they're only suitable for small bags. If you don't want to use their lockers, put your bag in your trunk and just take your wallet inside. Everything is kept neat and organized, and you can tell the staff all works hard to maintain the organization. I even see them going through and shaking up all the bottles of polish to keep them from separating while they sit on the shelf! The staff is always happy to help and suggest products when needed. The prices here are a little higher than some other local stores that I've been to. For example, a duo set of DND gel/lacquer polish is $10 here whereas I've found it for $6-8 at another store. However, I usually end up here when searching for nail supplies because of the variety of products they sell.
