I have been coming here for nearly 2 decades on behalf of my daughter myself my mother etc. and I have to say I have never had a bad experience instead I've had really friendly help with the pharmacist and the staff that I have interacted with. It's organized, clean, well supplied, priced reasonably, and the staff bring a level of service that makes going to the pharmacy almost pleasant Some people complain about wait lines or time to get a prescription or times to pick up a pizza or something else LOL but I've never found any delay here that was unreasonable if anything I've been served promptly and with a nice attitude. There enough locations that are conveniently located but for this particular one if it was twice the distance I would still go to it for the reasons above. read more

This walgreens has two helpful staff and the rest not so much. If a coupon doesnt work, rather than assist I get "i cannot force a coupon". They also have people begging right outside the door and while i may want to give, that is never comfortable of a situation. I feel nervous to walk to my vehicle read more

To everyone leaving a review, I urge you to answer the surveys that prints on your receipt. It actually goes to corporate where they genuinely hear your review. I ordered photo prints online for pickup, something I do regularly at CVS. When I arrived at this Walgreens, I went to the photo department and there was nobody there. I waited approximately 15 minutes before someone finally came over to assist me. The employee who helped me was actually very kind and polite, so I want to make that clear. However, there was an issue with my order. My prints were supposed to be framed, but she initially handed me unframed photos. After I pointed this out, she looked into the order and realized that she had actually made my order correctly, but another set of the same photos had accidentally been printed as a duplicate. She asked her manager what to do with the extra prints, and he told her to simply throw them away. This made me uncomfortable because the photos were personal. One showed me in a bikini and another showed me in short shorts, and I did not want photos of myself sitting in a disposal bin with other people's photos where they could potentially be seen, removed, or otherwise end up somewhere they shouldn't. I asked if I could either shred, tear, or cut up the photos myself right there, or even pay for the duplicate prints and take them home. I was more than willing to resolve the issue myself and give the employees the pieces afterward. Instead, the manager argued with me and told me that the photos had already been seen by employees when they were printed, as though that addressed my concern. It did not. He then paged someone who I assume was a supervisor and asked what he should do. I was told that the manager could rip the photos up in front of me. I could not understand why I was not allowed to simply destroy my own photos myself. I specifically explained that the photos were revealing and that I was uncomfortable having an employee handle them when I was standing right there asking to do it myself. I used to be a CVS manager, so I understand how photo departments and photo-disposal procedures work. I know that these bins can sit until they are full before being disposed of, which is exactly why I was uncomfortable leaving personal photos in one. This was not an unreasonable request--I was simply asking for control over the disposal of my own personal photographs. What bothered me most was the complete lack of customer service and professionalism throughout the situation. If I had handled a customer this way when I was a manager at CVS, I would absolutely have been written up. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated experience at this Walgreens. Every time I have visited, I have experienced some type of issue with the way employees interact with customers. The overall atmosphere consistently feels as though employees are annoyed or inconvenienced by customers simply being there. The employee who initially helped me was kind, and I don't blame her for the duplicate prints. My issue is specifically with the management's handling of the situation and the lack of basic customer service. I expected much better from Walgreens. read more

The pharmacy is horribly understaffed. If you call like I just did the recording said there's only one caller ahead of you but I spent 20 minutes waiting to be helped and even though I put in the prescription Thursday I still don't have it and won't have it till tomorrow Tuesday, not great for people who needs their meds quick read more

This is not the first time they've run out of my insulin. First when I went to refill, I was asked why I needed to refill early. When I specified that I had about 4 days left, and it needed to be refilled. 4 days ago, I was told that they are out of stock, but should be getting in a few days. Well I am now out of my insulin, and my script is still out of stock. This is a necessity. It is something I cannot live without, as it controls my blood sugar from going too high. I called the pharmacy, only to be put in hold. Each time someone picked up, I was placed on hold again. This wouldn't be the first time this has happened. How could a pharmacy always be out of a much needed medication. Now they're checking another store to see if they have it in stock. They should always have it in stock. read more

Today I tried another Walgreens store, it's located on the corner of Atlantic blvd and Rock Island rd. And it has been here for quite a long time so it's not the newest, although it has been remodeled to fit the other newer stores concept. I always find what I'm looking for when I come to this store, whether is on sale or not. On a recent review I did for another store, where I criticized their digital coupon system, IO wanted to see of this store would handle it better. I purposely used a digital coupon to see if I would have an issue, but I didn't. I did however asked the cashier Cyndia, who was very nice and helpful, and she couldn't explain the issue either. I'm just nitpicking though, this has nothing to do with the store itself, but with employee training. Store is clean and neat, parking lot as well. This store is as good as a Walgreens get. A little further away for me than my regular store, but worth the drive read more

I've come to this pharmacy for 5 years now and the service keeps getting worse and worse. Today I came with a script for Vicodin after dental surgery and the pharmacy clerk was so rude. She started off with "these doctors should learn how to write prescriptions" because he failed to put my address and DOB on the script. I understand the reason for the request but her attitude was unnecessary. Hello CVS!! read more

They have a Pharmacist that I hate dealing with. I don't know his name but he's a young guy with a beard that would rather stand there and fill prescriptions which I don't have a problem with but I requested to speak with him for just a moment but instead of stepping away for a couple of minutes not with him. I think that if he just keeps filling prescriptions and ignoring me that I would eventually go away. He's given me problems before and I'm at the point that if he's here I'm just going to not deal with him anymore. This is not acceptable to ignore someone when wanting to deal with an issue for a prescription. read more

If I could give 0 stars...I would! Chris, the Pharmacist, was the worst employee I have ever interacted with. He and his team sent me through hoops to fill a prescription that none of the other Walgreens had in stock within 100 miles. This prescription has been filled at a different Walgreens for months. Needless to say, I jumped through the hoops...contacted medication Manufacturer regarding using the coupon that I've been using, contacted my doctor again who laughed and said that what Walgreens was doing was unnecessary, but they supported me in what Walgreens asked, contacted my Insurance company who also laughed and said we don't cover this medication and Walgreens should allow you to use to coupon and self pay...I did everything Walgreens Margate team asked me to do-even though each person I spoke to had a different thing I needed to do and Chris, the Pharmacist told me that everyone else was wrong-my doctor, UHC, and Medicine company. Let me also share, that according to the medicine manufacturer, Chris and his team NEVER even ran the coupon. Chris hand wrote on my prescription to not allow me to use the coupon and refused to provide me with information to contact his supervisor. Walgreens has now lost a very loyal customer! read more

Update on this situation. I went back to Walgreens. Guess what I was able to purchase. Yep. My cold medicine that I wanted in the first place...and of course it said 'Daytime' on it. Hmph. I guess I was correct after all! =============================== While I usually like this Walgreens and consider it "mine". I had an experience recently that I just have to 'Yelp' about! Walgreens is currently having a sale on a type of cold medicine. I went in to purchase a few bottles. There was none in the store. Now to be honest, I went to 6 Walgreens in the surrounding towns and all were out. Some said, they were out and were restocking, to try back later. Ok. However, I called this Walgreens after going there. I basically wanted to know if they had it in the back. I spoke to "Blanche" and tried to tell her that I was already there and checked the shelf. I also told her the exact name and type [daytime, severe cold and cough...liquid NOT powder] She was not hearing me and put the phone down after insisting she was going to check the shelf. Ok. I'm willing to be wrong/blind! She came back on and insisted that it was there. Wow. Good news! By this time, I had reached home [did I mention it was raining and cold?] I told her I was coming right back. When I got there less than 5 minutes later, it was not there. The manager insisted that not only did I get the name wrong, but that the daytime insignia on the bottle was not necessarily there...and that they were ALL daytime, unless it said nighttime. REALLY?? Then she said, it was only on the box and not the bottle. Sigh. I know this brand. I just purchased a bottle last week. It does NOT come in a box. And yes, it has the sun as the insignia indicating daytime [as did the rest on the shelf] Could she not have checked the computer telling her if they had it in the store? The shelves were definitely in need of restocking and they were doing that. But bottom line, it was not a pleasant experience at all with this Walgreens that I always considered 'mine'. read more
