Although the lines were long from both the Sunrise Boulevard entrance as well as the side, the employees were working hard to serve everyone with courtesy and one of them even had a smile--which is a lot to ask in the scorching SOFLO heat! Open 24/7, and I might say 365 days a year, this location has a tunnel car wash, a couple of stand-alones that dispense water & air, plus a vacuum. Outside of the convenience store, they have a machine for bags of ice and another for propane tanks. Speaking of convenience, their store is stocked with a variety of snacks and other products. At times, wine and cigars have been sold, but in all honesty, I didn't leave my vehicle today to confirm that they still do. In addition to beer and other bottled beverages, fruit, and on-the-go bites, they sell baked goods and espresso. The current workers are bilingual (English-Spanish) and that's a plus in this area of West Broward county, Florida.

Their gas prices are fair though. I was in the area and needed gas so I came down memory lane and use this gas station. I also came in to get pick up a coffee, and I was pleasantly surprised by updated machines they have. You will never ever get cold coffee from here, as each cup is made individually to order. It is a little high tech and the clerk have to show me how to use it but after I got the hang of it (after two failed attempts) I had the best gas station cup of coffee I remember having in a very long time. Yes and that includes Wawa. This area in North Lauderdale is getting a lot of love. Costco's tire center is professional, efficient and trustworthy. The food court is a must go to with the iconic $1.50 hot dog special with a drink. At this point, hearing "it's good to see you sir" from him in the morning is part of the routine. And honestly, a morning without Shaheed greeting customers is like a morning without sunshine... or worse... caffeine. This isn't the newest 7-Eleven. It's not the fanciest either. But somehow it's still the best one around. The place stays clean, the shelves are stocked better than most convenience stores, and they always seem to have what you forgot you needed. Today's breakfast was a marble pound cake and an orange juice, which felt like the kind of breakfast decision that would disappoint a nutritionist but impress my inner 12 year old. I've had just about everything here over the years and it's all consistently solid. Nobody's handing out Michelin stars for roller grill items, but for a neighborhood 7-Eleven? Easy four stars.
