It was an uneventful day at work and I had not brought my lunch from home, meaning I wanted to grab a quick bite to eat. Downstairs market is about 10 minutes from my work and I can see myself coming here often. It's inside a gas station. And you would least expect it but they have a ton of lunch options. It's a gas station which has a pretty good convenience store that caters to those who want subs, fresh baked goods, different coffee options etc. I ordered a big sub with tuna and fresh veggies on whole wheat bread. The sub was great and I was able to eat some for lunch as well as give the rest to Sam M to try. They had such good pastries that I could not say no to that. I got a guava and cheese one as well as apple pie kind. Both I reheated at home after a few hours and they still tasted excellent. I asked for guava only option as well, but the employee told me they sold that one out for the day. This place is a local favorite for quick pick up. For gas station food options, this place is a must. The employees are so nice as well. They were so sweet in making sure my sub was exactly how I wanted it. ~ read more

I probably would've never stopped in here but after reading a previous review, It's been on my bucket list for a while. We randomly stopped in tonight and I'm glad we did. First of all, even though some neighboring stores attract a crowd that's less than perfect, this still gave off the safe and clean vibe. We went in, and even though it's quite a small store, it had most essentials. I must compliment them on their prices. Most items I saw were clearly marked and didn't force 2 products on you like some stores do. "$1.79 each or 2 for $2" is often frustrating if you only want one, and a popular competitor chain is very fond of this technique on moving products. Everything here seemed fairly priced especially for a gas station. This review is based on just this one experience, but customer service was above and beyond. The guy was super friendly, even chit-chatting with customers which is rare for a gas station. After he observed me eyeballing the sub menu, he was quick to say there was a special that any 12" sub was $5.99 (most 12" subs were marked from $6.50 for a veggie to $7.49 or higher for their meat subs). They only use boars head which is a plus! He went above and beyond as far as gas stations go. He was busy with 3 customers in line, and asked his coworker to assist with my sub. I would've bet my life her response would've been silence, a sigh, or a sarcastic "sure, I'm not busy" with a delay after she finished what she was doing, but she came right out and was ready to help a customer! I'm still genuinely shocked at how well they worked together and weren't aggravated at making a sub. They didn't skimp on any ingredients. I kid you not, their ingredients were fresher than a sub chain that claims you'll "eat fresh". Everything here was clean, fresh, and didn't give me any bad vibes. My only regret is not asking them if their sub station is open 24/7 but I hope it is and will find out soon. I can't call it the best sub I've ever had but for a gas station, it was impressive in both taste and value. There's bigger concerns in this world, but my 2 cents is for it being a fairly new store, their hot dog rollers were mostly inoperative. I forget what was on it but I think it was a couple different sized hot dogs and few taquitos, but out of the numerous roller-grills, only one or two rows were spinning, the rest looked broken and stationary. Possibly a fluke or will soon be fixed but that's just an observation from my first time here. read more

Went to fill up my car here with E85 this morning the pump says minimum 70% ethanol content. After filling up with E85 turns out there was only 26% ethanol content in the gas, if your running E85 or blends with E85 I would highly recommend going somewhere else very disappointed read more

Cheapest priced gas in the area. A great place to stop if you are going north to Coral Springs from the Coconut Creek or Margate area. Everything is clean and new. I never had a problem with any of the pumps not working and there is enough of them so that I generally don't have a wait. I haven't been inside yet so I can't attest to the food situation. read more

GET YOUR COVID-19 HERE! On Wednesday evening (Oct. 14, 2020), I stopped by this Orion Fuel Station around 11:00 pm to get some gas. When I went inside to pay, I was very disappointed to see that the clerk, an older man with a beard, was not wearing a mask. While there is a Plexiglas barrier in front of the cash register, it doesn't cover the entire area. If he had COVID-19, he could still easily spread it to other people. I am an elderly man with numerous health problems. If I get COVID, I will likely die from it. It is disappointing to see that this station is not following current Broward County regulations. I won't be back. read more

I actually have to give my boyfriend credit for bringing me around to this place. This gas station opened up within the last six months or so after I had seen the lot vacant for awhile. They completely redid everything with shiny new gas pumps and a modern looking convenience store, but it's kind of on the wrong side of the road for me when I generally need gas, so I hadn't stopped in even though the prices look good. A few weeks ago my boyfriend came home and said he got me a veggie sub from the gas station. I was a little worried and confused not sure what he was talking about, but then he told me it was the new gas station of 441 and Atlantic...I had seen it from the road and knew how new it looked, so I figured a gas station sandwich might not be so bad. It was actually delicious. The wheat bread was soft and fresh, and there was the perfect amount of cheese and mayo to balance out the veggies. He got me lettuce, tomato, pickles, and cucumber salad. The sub is enough for two meals, but be careful, the bread does get soggy. A few weeks later I wanted a sandwich and decided to head into the Downstairs convenience store myself. It's beautiful in here. The front register and deli counter are super clean, and they advertise their use of all Boar's Head products. The staff was super helpful and there was a special, all 12'' subs $6. I got my veggie, the same as before but added Boar's Head chipotle sauce...really yummy. They shred the lettuce here super fine, which is a huge plus for me. Again I got two meals out of the $6 sandwich. I'd highly recommend stopping in to grab lunch here, it's way more than a gas station. read more

I go out of my way to come here. The gas prices are the cheapest compared to the stations close by. The main reason though is the cafe con leche. It's delicious and available all hours of the day and night without a long wait. You can add flavors if you so choose. The subs( boars head) & the pastries are fresh and tasty. I always go out of my way to fuel up here. It's high quality gas and I can really tell a difference. I know it sounds strange but my car runs better on this gas. And BONUS their prices are always very reasonable as well...some of the lowest around. Can't beat that! Oh and super clean restrooms! I've never seen a cleaner gas station restroom. read more

I love this place the subs are very good. I live in coral springs and I felt like making a trip to margate for gas and a sub. Walking in hungry and looking forward for a sub after a long day. I walked in waited to be serve just for the girl that worked there basically begged me to not order a sub cause it seem to me she was just being lazy. N I walked outta there very disappointed give it two stars cause the food is good. Just lazy employees that dont want to do their jobs. read more

I would like to amend my previous review. This company went above and beyond to address this problem with the card which turned out to be a glitch with the card. I will be shopping there again and I recommend that everyone should also. I really missed their sandwiches! read more
