Even though half of the pumps were out of gas, I had a really good experience at this gas station. Both the guy working behind the counter and the guy bringing out things to stock the shelves said hello and was actually friendly. Who closes a gas pump for the night??? It's in an upper middle class neighborhood with low crime. Plus It's an automated gas pump. If I could, I'd give them ZERO stars for closing when people need the pump most. read more

Cool place to come in if you need anything quick. The gas prices are usually cheaper here than any other near by gas station. Outside area is usually always clean. I gave this business a 4 star because every time I come here, the ladies at the cash register are always sitting down and talking. When you're at work, shouldn't you be standing up and greeting your customers as they walk in? One lady got uo to help me. She didn't say good morning, welcome, hi, or anything. She just looked at me and kept talking to the other employee. When I told her what I needed she kept talking and couldn't scam my product properly. She has to go get two other products just to be able to ring me up. Customer service just needs to be a litrle better. read more

You're not gonna believe this. I go to get gas on Lyons Rd., Shell station I guess it's a wing place. And then I bought a car wash, the works. So I go to the car wash and I put in the code. The code doesn't work, I go into the place and the woman, I swear, I doubt she has a high school education asked me if I tried the code. I looked at her like, no I just thought licking the buttons would work. So after I told her yes, I tried the code, she goes out there, and then it comes down to where,she said the zeros sometimes look like eights when it gets printed out and that was her excuse of why the Car wash wasn't working so I asked her if she would put up a sign for the other dummies such as myself because people wouldn't know that look like zeros, how would I know? Such a waste of my time. Please shut down the car wash if you don't have a full proof way to operate the machinery without this confusion. this was a horrible waste of my time because there's zeros look like eights and their eights look like zeros, it's ridiculous. The woman actually asked me if I tried using zeros instead of eights like I would know to do that. read more

Avoid SHELL gas station, 6135 Lyons RD and Roys Wings & Things at same property in Coconut Creek. Dangerous place with thoughtless and NON customer-friendly employees who were working on Friday eve of July 26, 2019. They left a mother and her 2 children in the dark on their property knowing that the family was waiting for roadside assistance 20 minutes prior to the store and station closing. Mother, who bought gas at the same station, was on her way home with children from an extended family dinner. After purchasing gas at the SHELL station, mother's car wouldn't start - car battery had died. Mother proceeded to walk into the station, which is also called Roy's Wings & Things, to ask for help with a jumpstart. Instead, the attendant at the register attempted to sell the mother a pair of $15 jumper cables without assistance nor car to jump it with. Story gets worst. Bad luck for the mother and the 2 scared children who were waiting for Progressives roadside assistance. A heartless thing to do to a family who pleaded to both of the employees at the station for 10 minutes of light as they worked inside while roadside assistance had confirmed they were 9 minutes away. One attendant's response to the mother who knocked in fear on the locked door was " lady I'm not going to help you, we close at 11." The mother proceeded to call for assistance as her children became scared in the dark station and awaited for roadside assistance by calling the Coconut Creek police before they became a crime of opportunity. The dispatcher was kind and offered to transfer the mom to a Public Service Aid. Thank you Coconut Creek police for always being available. Shame to the Shell Station owners and Roy's Wings & Things at 6135 Lyons Road in Coconut Creek for not having the decency or the humanity to help a woman and her kids while they waited STRANDED IN THE DARK for aid. SHELL, a word to the wise, train your people and know that a crime of opportunity puts everyone involved at fault. read more

My first gas credit card in 1988 was Texaco all of a sudden one day in the mail they sent me a shell credit card and it seemed as though all of the Texaco gas stations were being weeded out. This by far is my favorite Shell gas station. I know everyone that works here because I've been coming here the last 5 years since I moved to Coconut Creek. They have a great car wash and the store is always very clean. I like the fact that when I walk in I'm always greeted and always feel welcome. I don't have anything against any of the other stations I guess I don't frequent them because I don't have any credit cards for them. Shell gas card I own. I stopped here for gas on my way back to Orlando. After filling up my car, I pulled up to park to go to the ladies room and to purchase a drink and snacks for the trip back home. I walked in the store and asked the young lady behind the counter is there a key for the restroom. She was short and stated the ladies room was out of order. Then I asked her about the men's restroom; she said that restroom was out of order as well. I just couldn't believe "both" restrooms were out of order. Especially with this gas station being at the exit right off the turnpike. I was just shocked. I was not impressed with the young lady's customer service. She appeared to be bothered that someone, a paying customer, would actually want to purchase something other than gas. With that attitude, I decided I wouldn't make the purchase of a drink and snacks I really wanted. I really like Shell because it's always clean and the people behind the counter are friendly. Well at least the ones in Orlando are. I hope other Shell stations outside of Orlando aren't like that. I'm giving two stars. read more

I drove in for a car wash. The car wash sign said OPEN. My credit card was rejected so I tried another one. Again rejected. I went in the store and was told that the I must pay inside as the machine in not working. They could easily put a sign up that says Pay Inside. I questioned why there is sales tax on the wash and she said that there is always sales tax on car washes. "Under Florida law, specifically Rule 12A-1.006(16), Florida Administrative Code ("F.A.C."), car washes that include only detergent or water softener are exempt." Nice area. Clean pumps and easy to use. Diesel available at every pump via a separate hose so it's hard to confuse them. Don't know what else to say except: damn, this place gave me gas! read more

Came by to get air in my tires. They charge $1.50 all in quarters. Didn't have cash. Went in to pay by card. Said no, cash only, pay $2.25 to use the ATM. Get the cash, ask for change. Won't give me change without buying a product. Buy crap I don't need just get change to give them for the air. I drive daily to Miami and fill up here all the time. Never again. read more

Pumped gas and decided to go through the car wash. What a waste of money. The soap was not soapy at all. I felt like the machine just threw water on my car and that's it. My car came out soaking wet even after it was air dry. They won't catch me getting a car wash from them ever again. read more

I just want to say how nice & polite the employees at this gas station are, starting with Roy the owner of Roy's Wings & Things & Trish, Susan, Kevin, Rain, Dilip, Maudell, Katrina, Danielle, Altima, & the Manager of the gas station Gabriel. If I missed anybody I'm sorry. When I walk in the gas station every morning I get greeted at the door & I feel welcomed. This place is clean & the service is outstanding.
