I have been looking for a new salon after my hairdresser of 10 years moved on. They had a lot to live up to, they did a fantastic job! I had recently went to another Aveda salon in and just didn't have that connection. Not only does Pyure excel in raising the bar high in service, they also excel in all aspects of a salon. I'm back for my second coloring and added a cut and blow out. I'm so beyond excited to see the results while feeling pampered. Being just days away from Christmas, the spa employees are friendly and calm. The shampoo experience in itself makes you feel like you are special. Jenna is my colorist, highly recommend her. My 2 girls and I both come here. I am very happy with the service I always get. Not only do they do a great job coloring and cutting your hair. They go over and beyond with foot soak while the color sets. you can even enjoy water, tea or a glass of wine. during your hair wash, you will experience a lavender cloth for relaxation and a hand massage. I came here to purchase some products, when I got home half of the bottles did not have a seal in it and clearly looked used, including product residue inside the cap. I didn't think to open every individual product and check if they were open because I chose everything off the shelf not any testers. It sucks paying full of price for a good product that was slightly used... if you shop here check each bottle individually. read more

I have been there a couple of times and would not leave a review before trying it twice. The color is always well done, but my sister insists that the reason i need to go there is for the shampoo. My luck was both times got a regular shampoo. I gave a one star because i specifically went there for regrowth coloring. Chose the $65.00 person, not $55 which would be someone with less experience or $85. Which i assume would be someone who has been working there longer. I get a really nice girl, but at the time of payment i am charged $139.00. Did not want to make a scene, so casually ask why the higher charge and they tell me i had a glow treatment???? I booked an appointment online with Hillary. You have to give a credit card to set up an appointment but they don't charge it until you finish your appointment. Stylist charge per their level. Hillary currently commands $50 a haircut. I showed her a picture of what I wanted, choppy layers with bangs, and she executed it perfectly and she really took the time to get it exactly the way it was in the picture I showed her. I always take a deep breath when getting bangs because the worst thing is if they are cut too short but they came out great. I got so many nice compliments at work the next day. I love Pyure Salon for many reasons. Annie does the most beautiful highlights I've ever had, and I've been looking for them for over three years since I moved to Florida. Even between appointments eight weeks apart, I don't see any gray hair or roots showing. Gina then gives me the perfect haircut that suits me, and is always attentive to our needs. Even between appointments, despite my hair growing very quickly, I have no trouble styling it and my cut stays fresh. During the shampoo, I discovered Stephanie's magic fingers: rinsing, conditioning, scalp massage, and massage from the forearms to the fingertips: a moment of pure zen and relaxation. And to top it all off, the price is very reasonable for services of this level, and well worth other services in so-called "luxury" salons. I've been in with a picture of exactly how I wanted my haircut. I walked out and the stylist did a different cut, which looked nice when she dried it, but was not what I wanted. I went back for a redo and the stylist called over a level 10 who argue with me that my hair was the same as the picture which absolutely was not. And she totally chopped my hair dry. I had to go to another salon to have it fixed she had to blend all my hair in and now I have to grow it back out to get like the original picture. So now it cost me double the amount and my hair is gone because they chopped itunderneath. Never will I ever go back again Update: I went to get my hair even out and fixed into some sort of style elsewhere. The stylist told me my hair was chopped in layers underneath the top layer. It is very short she told me it's going to be three months before I really like it. It's not bad now, but it's very short. I can't believe for the money they're charging and the level 10 stylist that came over and chopped my hair, all uneven, while it was dry with an attitude! Never again. read more

Wow! I'm blown away about my experience this evening. I had an appointment at 6pm - I showed up on time and waited. At 6:15 someone finally came out and said that they would wash my hair. I was already anxious because I had plans for after the haircut so running late wasn't really an option. After the woman scrubbed my head she had me sit in another waiting room and told me that my stylist would be ready in a minute. At 6:30 the stylist came over to tell me that she would be at least another 10 minutes! (That would mean at least 6:40 for a 6:00 appointment) I immediately said that I couldn't wait that long because I had plans. They never should have washed me without telling me that she was running almost an hour behind. So now with a soaking wet head the front girl comes over to tell me that she will ask another gentleman to cut me...great..."oh but you should know that he charges $80 vs $50"...wait what? So then I asked to simply dry my hair so that I could get out of there and she told me no! "The manger will not allow clients to dry their own hair"....So I left and went to meet my friend at a restaurant with a wet head! I will NEVER go back to this place! read more

I love that I never have to wait too long and the color always comes out perfect (to be fair, mine is the darkest shade!). As I wait for the color to set, I'm offered tea, water, or a glass of wine. I was booked with Anthony who SAVED MY LIFE after a not-so-great experience at the Pyure Aveda in Boynton where I live. It seemed like an inexperienced stylist ignored the picture I provided for my color and did whatever she knew how to do. After explaining to management that I was unsatisfied, they booked me with Anthony at the Coconut Creek location. I immediately felt like I was in better hands. I was offered a foot soak and wine, (which I had never been offered at the Boynton location and I've been there several times) and the atmosphere just seemed way more relaxed and sophisticated. The first and most important thing that Anthony did, was say "So, what happened." And then, he L I S T E N E D. Any unsatisfied customer has a story to tell, and for him to just take the two minutes it took for me to explain made all the difference. I don't know hair. I don't know how to talk hair. And I thought that might have been why I got myself into this mess with the first colorist at the Boynton location. I explained that to Anthony and he said "it's not your job to know how to talk about hair, or even to know what you want --that's my job." Needless to say he took all the fear and stress out of it. Not only did he listen to what I did like about my inspiration photo, he didn't just copy it, he tailored it to what would be best for MY hair. I was happy to give him all my money. Even his assistant Daniella (hope I got the name right) was extremely professional and knowledgeable about products to keep my hair healthy after coloring. I just loved their vibes and they both deserve all the recognition. Long story short, the staff at the Coconut Creek location seemingly hold themselves to a much higher standard than at the Boynton location, and I'm happy to drive 30 minutes out of my way for an experience that makes me feel pampered and fabulous. read more

I went from balayage to platinum and pink within one morning damage free. My hair still feels silky and smooth. The color also lasted a long time in my hair. This salon is special in a good way. I arrived early so waited a long time in Front waiting Room after having my temperature taken for the appointment to begin. I should state up front I am a person who does not like to get her hair done. I had appointments with two people this particular Wednesday. I was pleased when I was called in promptly, that is, ON TIME, for my first service. My thinking is the sooner it starts the sooner it ends. Everything went quickly with my first service which involved me waiting in the "process" room where I was given the option to have a spa foot bath while I waited in there. I accepted the foot bath and hope you do too. Next, the shampoo room which is dark and relaxing with a statue of Buddha on shelf. Very ZEN! The shampoo girl I had is Ecuadorian and is not only good at the shampoo & Head Massage but as sweet as she can be! Everything culminated with me going to the haircut chair for my next appointment. At booking I had asked for "the best" and evidently the best hairstylist is what I got. I am a little embarrassed to go back here after all my problems- including badly tangled hair- this place had to deal with (with me) but I can honestly say I got through it okay and actually enjoyed some of being here. I had a truly great experience yesterday at Pyure. The day before I had received a seriously atrocious haircut at a different salon. The stylist there gave me a choppy cut, the layers weren't blended at all and there were long random pieces of hair that she clearly missed. I went to Pyure the following day to add some color with Annie and I expressed my concerns with her about my haircut. Annie was so understanding and thoughtful and decided to bring over another stylist, Crystal, to take a look at my hair. Crystal was willing to fix my hair for me right away even though she had a busy schedule and did such a tremendous job without cutting off too much length. Annie gave me a balayage that looks natural, beautiful and blends seamlessly. Everyone was so accommodating, caring and took the time to listen to my concerns. Thank you Annie and Crystal for being so patient and sweet and for saving my hair. I cannot thank you enough! read more

I was physically injured and traumatized on 6/15 as she's proven to be deceptive, non-accommodating, ZERO sense of damage control ( a term Leah at the salon was using at my last appointment when the final damage happened) and absolutely careless about the reputation of the salon YET every appointment, 3 of them, 4/21, 5/18, and 6/15, I left looking worse and I've photographed the results from the beginning. -When I say traumatized-I do not exaggerate as there was hysterics at the amount of my hair falling out. At that time, the burn on the back of my neck did not yet surface from the products. I have exhausted my communication with "manager" Maria or Lisa for the shameful and client-offensive reasons stated above for the treatment I've received. Ali had 3 opportunities to not ruin my hair, BURN ME, cause chunks of hair loss and a stylist to react to the point where they offered me wine to calm me down once I saw the damage they caused to my hair. Have I stressed enough yet that this was the THIRD appointment-with the following one being worse than the last? Yet I am being told by Maria to come back in to allow them to fix my hair?! Because 3 attempts/appointments could not do it-yet I should trust any stylist, the manager, and this salon as a reputable business overall to ever service me again? I've already reached out to Aveda Corporate. Next will be Florida Dept of Health. Next, we can take this to small claims court. And all I requested was a full refund of the money I paid, $705, and to be clear that I will never use your salons nor recommend anyone to them again. Now I am requesting to be contacted by either Christine Boccia, Elan Levy, or your "guest relations specialists" that you publicly share as having. After having sent the above information to the manager I was given the chance to get my money back as they sent me an "offer letter" on June 21st. On June 23rd I received the following... "Good Afternoon Amanda, since we have not heard back from you with the signed letter, I will assume you decide not to accept. At this point the offer is no longer valid. If I can be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you" On June 23rd I responded with the below... In thoroughly reviewing your written offer to me dated June 21st, 2 days ago, I struggled to find a due by date, indicating that if not returned by such, the offer would be void. I do not need to provide details from the time between accepting and returning the offer, however I will. A paralegal from my attorney's office as well as my medical provider was also reviewing, taking into account the damage, exceeding more than the monetary piece as you are well aware of. I was generous and amicable in considering to accept only the monetary amount then walk away quietly. Furthermore, your threat to rescind the offer can only be taken as such, causing me further duress after what I've already been through at the hands of your salon. If this is the route you choose to take, then I will as well proceed with legal action including reporting the matter to the Dept of Health and the property management company of the Promenade. Please let me know how you would like to resolve this offensive and shameful treatment of me, your client at this point. My intention was to resolve this matter and accept your offer following the review by my advisors; however the length you have gone to put me through additional stress and duress, followed by your threatening and abrupt revocation of the offer, indicates to me your true intention is not to make good on your word. Thank you for providing with that in writing. I would like to be contacted directly by Ms.Christine Boccia at her earliest convenience." It is September 17th and I have been WAITING to post this review to ensure that EVERYONE see's this!!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON for any color related treatment! I am visiting the area and called yesterday to see if anyone was available for a cut and blow dry today. I was scheduled for a 10 am appt and provided the required credit card that would be charged the full service amount with a cancellation less than 24 hours. I arrived at the salon at 10 am this morning to be told that there was no appt for me and that the stylist "in my price range" was fully booked. Apparently there are different tiers of stylists with different fees. I was told that I could return in an hour and 15 mins but that did not work for me. I received no apology, just told that they were trying to accommodate me. I don't think that Pyure will miss my business since they were "fully booked" but I will not be one of their clients. read more

My hairstylist is Derek and my colorist is Tatiana. I think this is absolutely one of the best salons in all of Broward County. The products are good the stylist are superb the colorist are awesome. I recently was there and had my color refreshed and my haircut. Today I'm getting ready for work and I'm running late and I flat iron my hair and it looks amazing. I specifically want to express my gratitude and appreciation to Ms Tatiana Ledesma, the amazing colorist that I can EVER ask for. I cannot emphasis enough. I still vividly remember about 2 years ago when I walked in. I had doubt if my hair will lift to the level of the blonde color I desired for also from my past experience with other salons I was kind of hopeless. Tatiana, she then came with her portfolio, color chart, Pinterst and instagram whatever you can imagine she brought on the table and sat next to me for decent half an hour to JUST consult to ensure finding right color for me before we begin. I was so surprise by her kindness, genuinely caring, her knowledge, and honesty. (I can keep go on) She will always be honest with you the conditions of the hair, and what you can/can't achieve and that's what you want, instead; places I've been before more likely to tell you they can do it then you will walk out the door with unexpected color on your hair!!!
