After walking around Wimbledon and soaking up the festivities of the tennis, my friend and I…read moredecided to stop here for a cocktail or three.... We immediately loved the decor and outdoor seating and decided to sit outside and people watch while we drank and had a catch up. They offer table service and our waiter was really nice and able to offer recommendations. Drinks are on the pricier side, but the cocktails were delicious and I suppose, it is Wimbledon! Later into the evening, reserved signs were put onto all the tables and the place really filled up. It seems this is a popular local spot. The atmosphere really got going and I would say it is a great place to meet friends in the evening. There is a young vibe, all the staff are fairly young but the customers were of a more mature age.

If you like cocktails, then you will find an eclectic list here to satisfy all. The location is…read moregreat, it is right in the Wimbledon Village and the world famous Wimbeldon Tennis ground is within seeing distance. I can imagine that during the Wimbledon tennis season, it must be absolutely packed as there is plenty of outdoor seating and it simply has a great vibe. I wish I lived closer to it, i would definitely go more often. The decor is simplistic, modern and looks brilliant. You may think that is would be quite expensive being right next to the tennis ground and Wimbledon being quite expensive in general, but prices are the same as any other lush London bar. The service is fantastic, everybody seemed cheeful and smiles were everywhere, when in such an environment, it rubs off on you, so I had a great time on my one and only visit. It is not as if Wimbledon is just around the corner to me, so I wont be going in the foreseeable future, but look forward to my next trip. Wimbldon is a great area, and Ecplipse is somewhere to chill out after a longs day walking and shopping there.

THEY SERVED MY WIFE AND I CHEESECAKE THAT WAS EXPIRED AND EVER SINCE I GOT BACK TO THE HOTEL I HAVE BEEN THROWING UP AND HAVING DIARRHEA!!! Literally the most I paid to have bowel issues When I come back to London I definitely will not be going here ever again for shisha or good or dessert

Being neighbours to a widely known hotel, they must think of themselves as the dogs b******s but are sooooo lame. A Japanese fusioned menu which they can't cook to the right standard. Relatively high prices which the end product cannot justify. Very difficult venue to find as not signposted at all. Even the grounds they share with hotel doesn't showcase the venue so they must be embarrassed of their small time inferior neighbours! Recap: crap food, crap atmosphere, difficult venue to find, high prices, fake - being something they are not and unable to deliver to. I would avoid! Many Many Many times better and classier sheesha and food establishments available around the city, choose one of them and enjoy.

This is a neighbourhood Turkish restaurant with a separate takeaway outlet adjacent…read more The dining part has a main room at the front and a smaller, more private eating area at the rear up a few steps. The walls are largely bare brick and there are pretty Middle Eastern lamps everywhere. That said, the lighting is a little bright and there's piped Middle Eastern music, so it's not as cosy as the name might suggest. We had the set menu for £18.95 for two, with a bottle of Pinot Grigio. The menu included the mixed vegetarian meze to start, followed by vegetarian moussaka (served with rice and salad) followed by a Turkish coffee and fresh mint tea. The food was good, and portions generous. The bread served with the meze was superb - as was the Kisir (bulgar wheat with fresh herbs and spices) and Cacik (the Turkish take on Tzaziki). The freshness of everything was very evident. Service from one of the waiters was a bit erratic but the other was super friendly and very efficient. The Turkish coffee and mint tea were very good. The bill, including wine and service, came to £35 a head. A nice touch was asking if we were happy with the service charge. Overall, it was a good experience and I'd happily go back.

We started off looking through the impressive cocktail menu - I chose the Mango Jambo which was delicious (although the coconut milk made it very sweet and a little dessert-y, so I ended up drinking most of it after the meal). They have a great selection with a wide range of spirits. The menus are laminated and a lot of the cocktails come in novelty glasses so it's not a classy affair, but great if you're looking for a fun & laid back evening! We ordered a selection of food between us and the portions were very generous. My favourites were the grilled halloumi (although I'm not sure how you can go wrong with this) and the stuffed peppers - they were stuffed with couscous & veg and were surprisingly light. All of the dips were well seasoned an not too oily, a problem I usually find! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and overall it was a lovely meal.
