Dr. Jackson is the kind of person I would totally hang out with. He's really geeky about dentistry which is cool. He's into it and his enthusiasm emanates throughout the entire practice. He is gentle and sensitive to my tendency to completely freak out. My first visit was an emergency. I was in serious pain and really scared. It had been a while since I'd been to a dentist, I think out of fear. Loads of bad experiences in my past. He told me, "This is the last time you will cry in my office." He gave me a real Sony Walkman with Dark Side of the Moon on cassette to listen to. Legit. Following each of my first few visits, Dr. Jackson or the person who'd worked with me called me at home at night to check on me. At the office, they went above and beyond to help me feel relaxed, comfortable and safe. In terms of his work: I defy anyone to find which of my teeth is my own and which is the state-of-the-art, no-exposed-metal crown Dr. Jackson just made for me. Exquisite. The work was terrible--the temporary crown fell out after just 2 weeks, and then the permanent crown fell out after only 4 months. To make matters worse, after paying the $1,500 (plus what my insurance already covered), they still sent me an additional bill for $450. This place is a complete rip-off. Poor quality work, misleading billing, and terrible overall experience. I would not recommend this business to anyone.

She has a state of the art Cerec machine too and I have had her do both filling and crowns for me, always done perfectly well and without pain too. She is very attentive to her patients' comfort. Her staff is excellent too - Both Emily and Donna are superb hygienists who also do thorough and exceptional work while being sensitive to patient comfort. The office administrator Casey is delightful to work with as well. My wife and I have gone to Dr. Nishimura for almost eight years now and I would highly recommend her for anyone looking for a new dentist. After he retired a few years back Dr. Reina Garcia took over. Typically I would shy away from a new dentist due to poor previous experiences as a kid, but I am glad I decided to give Dr. Garcia a chance. She is just as friendly, gentle and approachable. Best of all the staff (Anne, Tracie & Evelyn) never changed and are still very friendly and receptive to questions. As of this review I have been coming here for the past 6 years for my bi-annual cleanings and check- ups.
