Ambience was very relaxing, bright areas, nice decor and everything was very presentable and professional. The screens with the relaxing enviornments was also very cool and will work wonders with anyone who gets anxious. All the tools used were very new and high tech, Aimee was calm and collected and did an excellent job with my cleaning with breaks and always asking if I was ok. The level of care I recived was truly top notch and I really felt relaxed and calm during the process. Everyone was kind, courteous and knowledgable, I look forward to continue to have Nexus provide my dental services for a very long time!

I cannot emphasize enough what a negative experience I had here. Estimates for treatment options…read morethat I did not agree to were pushed upon me. But the worst part was that, even though my x-rays showed no cavities, the dentist decides that I actually have nine cavities, which I would of course be paying exorbitant amounts of money to have filled. Luckily, I went to a more reputable dentist nearby, who did not try to push any orthodontic treatments and who told me I had one minor cavity. She also told me that I was not particularly cavity-prone, which was the complete opposite of what the dentist here told me. Just a terrible experience here all around.

After many years of dental problems, I sought out a periodontist who would be near me, near where…read moremy mother was living, and be reasonably priced. It was a HUGE MISTAKE when I chose Concord Lexington Periodontics! Under their (non-existent) care I was subject to pain, infection, and lack of response to messages. It started with four teeth needing to be removed. I was told it would take an hour. It took nearly four! The 4 teeth were wrongly broken up into tiny pieces which had to be extracted 1 by 1. I complained at the time about all the debris going down my throat. 5 days later I was in the ED @ Brigham and Women's Hospital with severe bacterial pneumonia. They kept me there for 5 days! I didn't put it together, but 4 days after she pulled out the remaining teeth, I was back in the hospital again with bacterial pneumonia. They have no emergency phone number, and yet the doctor thought nothing of taking a three-week vacation. She refused to give me painkillers. I was living on amoxicillin, tylenol, and Motrin throughout the 6 week process. I couldn't go back there to finish & get the implants. After the pain and infection she put me through, the bone grafts leaked and it was clear I had to fire her. I went to my dentist who was agast by what he saw and immediately sent me to an oral surgeon to undo the damage that they had done. $2,000 later and I'm still healing from the surgery. NO ONE should go to this practice! It's butchery at its best. The pain, the sloppy work, and the fact that the periodontist herself showed no mercy & rarely returned phone calls and texts is reason enough to STAY AWAY!

There is a new owner, Dr. Verdier. I had been going to this practice for over 35 years (to see Drs…read more Bader and Freedman, who are now are retired) and been pleased about the care. Dr. Verdier's practice will not tell you if their staff has been vaccinated. They say it's government regulations; it's up to the individual workers to say if they are vaccinated; they are not mandated to be vaccinated. The dental assistant (not the hygienist) that was to work on me wore only a surgical mask and we were in a small room. She admitted when asked that she was not vaccinated. I was upset that she was defensive and this put me on the defensive. I refused the procedure which involved pictures of my gums. On a later call to resolve this matter, I was told that the assistant would not even wear an N95 mask, more protective than the surgical mask. The Dr. was also defensive as was the receptionist the front desk, all blaming government regulations. Dr. Verdier told me that maybe his practice is not the right one for me. I found another periodontist, recommended, whose front desk assured me that those working in their office were all vaccinated. Oddly the workers in that office were also not required to say one way or another whether they were vaccinated but at least the practice gave me an assurance they were and welcomed me.

Maybe back in the old days Dr Handa was good dental provider. But now she only cares about taking…read moreyour money and not actually providing full treatment for any of your sleep disordered issues. She will also sell you on classes or procedures that you may not need and then give you impartial treatment for procedures that you do need (and originally came to her for) so that she can keep charging you and keep you as a patient forever. She will charge you $400 (non-refundable) to even put you on the schedule to meet with her for the initial consultation. The first appointment is nothing other than her getting to know your story and then felt like a sales pitch without really dissecting into the main issues you came to her for. Then the second appointment is taking measurements, photos, x-rays, and to set you up with a wrist watch sleep study - which you should expect an even larger fee all together on this appointment. I came to her as she was considered a dentist trained in the "Zaghi" frenuloplasty technique. She did not do anything remotely close to the frenuloplasty. It was basically an hour appointment where she would spend most of the time doing neck stretches and leg stretches (which she said will help cause restrictive tongue tie fibers to come out more) and then slowly coming back to using the laser on my tongue tie. In the end, only a tiny incision was done yet still leaving my anterior tongue tie completely in-tact, when what I needed was a posterior tongue tie release. She also ended up using surgical glue to seal off the tiny gash that was made (instead of sutures, which is common to use for a complete release) which the glue ended up falling off after my first mouth rinse, revealing the incomplete release that Dr Handa had done. I could have excised the same amount of tissue that was released from this appointment by using my two finger nails. Literally nothing had changed about my tongue before and after - no extra mobility or muscular relief. Dr Handa then tried to sell me on her coaching classes that she insisted was necessary to complete the final steps of curing my tongue tie. She also tried to get me to see one of her own staff for myofunctional therapy when she knew I was already working with a myofunctional therapist! Sometimes she can just be too much of a hard sell that I don't think she even realizes it. These are just the one of many scenarios where she has pitched a sales to me, even if I am receiving the same treatment elsewhere. I won't mention all the cases as this post would be long winded. Dr Handa and I eventually sorted it out and agreed upon a refund for the "frenuloplasty" procedure I received, which I am at least appreciative for. But she did end up wasting a lot of my time, which I had used sick days at work and still a lot of money for the other diagnostics and stuff (which were paid from my flexible spending account - and I am not happy about that). (Picture is 1 day post-op of my frenuloplasty procedure with Dr Handa)

When I contacted the office about it, I was informed that the office "always" appeals, but offered me no further details. I spoke with my insurance company and learned that the office had not appealed the denial despite receiving information about the appeals process in October and November of 2020. I placed multiple calls to the office, hoping for more information and to see if they would file an appeal (at my insurance company's suggestion). When I left a message with the office asking for a call back after learning this information, I never received a call back. If you value quality patient assistance, service, and communication, I would recommend a different office.

**Total incompetence, wasted time, and zero respect for patients**…read more This dental office is an absolute trainwreck. I had deep cleaning done here two weeks ago, and today I drove out specifically for my follow-up appointments--only to find out **neither the hygienist nor the doctor was even available**. They couldn't be bothered to check their own schedule before letting me show up. Instead, they casually told me to reschedule **another two weeks out** and booked it right there. I leave, already frustrated, and not even 10 minutes later they call me back saying, "Oops, we messed up again--actually you need to come **twice** now: once for the hygienist and once for the doctor." Are you kidding me? No apology, no offer to fix it, just more incompetence piled on top of incompetence. This is the second time they've pulled this kind of stunt with scheduling. First they make you wait weeks, then they waste your entire trip, then they jerk you around with last-second changes after you've already left. I've lost hours of my day, gas money, and any shred of patience dealing with this disorganized circus. Zero accountability, terrible communication, and staff who clearly don't care if patients show up or not. If you're looking for a dental practice that treats you like an afterthought, congratulations--you found it. Everyone else: RUN. Find a place that can actually manage a calendar and respect your time. Never coming back. Avoid this place like the plague.
