Don't be fooled by the pictures of microbladed brows RIGHT AFTER session. Always look at the healed results!! The whole point of me getting semipermanent tattoo brows was to save time during my makeup routine. Instead, it takes up more time because i have to cover up my tattoo. I really really wanted to love it. Not the happiest with the healed results down the line. Severely uneven once settled :(. My brows are not sisters. Maybe cousins who see each other every couple Thanksgivings. One is much thicker and obviously higher. As well as one having a rounded arch and the other a steep arch. The artist told me the unevenness was just scabbing, swelling, and that it was just my nose that was crooked. unfortunately not the case. I've seen lots of wonderful healed micro blading, but unfortunately not on my own face. Can't pay to remove and redo them so I'm currently relying on concealer, which is not any easier than filling my brows was! read more

Well I was really nervous at first getting it done the thought of getting semi permanent work on the face was a little nerve wrecking. I've seen some Micoblading gone bad lol. Jennifer was great though she numbed me a few times so it didn't hurt at all. I went lighter on the color because I heard from my coworkers that it' looks really intense for a couple of days. Even with going lighter it did look intense. After it healed over. It started to look better she even covered my scar. I can't wait for my second session I might have to go darker since the color kinda look like it's fading. Love that I don't have to spend too much time doing my brow. I came here because my medical condition caused me to lose my eyebrows. At the point I came here my eyebrows were not completely gone, but I wanted to make sure that I didn't look like a freak. I was very leery to begin with, however, I left it in the "professionrals hands." That was a bad idea. After over a year, my eyebrows are still too thick... Too dark... And I find myself spending more time on my eyebrows to fix this than I ever did in my LIFE in terms of make up. The last year I have felt more insecure and less beautiful than I ever have in my entire life. I contacted the establishment to ask what I could do to potentially reverse the tattoo. And I have yet to receive a call back. I do not have micro blading, I have an entire tattoo and not only did I spend a lot of money for this, but I now I have to spend probably five times what I spent to get it removed. NEVER would I bring my business here. This place is a SCAM and JOKE! Jennifer posted a microblading "special" for $250 on March 3 and June 25 on Instagram. I wanted to take advantage of the offer so I sent her a private message, and I also left a couple comments about it. I never heard back. I noticed she had new posts and was active online so I decided to DM her AGAIN, still, nothing. I went above and beyond to get in contact with Jennifer, even went as far as contacting her on her personal page, calling her AND even sent an email. A month went by, I never heard from her. It wasn't until I revisited Venus brow Instagram page and left a comment expressing my discontentment and frustration, I even left information about a VERY reputable cosmetic tattoo artist/Microblader close by and who is WAY more experienced than Venus Brow. Bar( I left the information in the comments of Venus brow bar In case there were other people that Jennifer was ignoring or overlooking, so they can go there Instead) As soon as I left another artists information on her page, Jennifer from Venus brow DELETED THE COMMENT with the information and finally replied to me within 5 minutes. LOL! ( by this time it was too late) Venus brow posts fake specials to get more traffic to her page and business and then when you try to contact her about it she never replies and then you are forced to pay full price. My experience at this location was amazing. I never wear makeup so I was very skeptical about getting microblading done in general because I could potentially be ruining my face. I ran into Venus brow bar on Instagram through a mutual friend and really liked how they did her eyebrows. I noticed that this place had really good reviews too and went through them all before actually getting an appointment. Best decision ever! I don't ever need to worry about filling in my eyebrows and they really took care of me here. The healing was about 10 days, which was not too bad. I am looking forward to coming back for a touch up. I got a text the night before saying that the artist is sick and won't come in and they mentioned that I can get my refund back of the deposit if I wanted to. I told them that I wanted my refund, and to this day they have not refunded me. I keep calling but it goes to voicemail and no one is answering. I'm writing this review for my sister. I was referred to VenusBrow bar by my coworker. Her eyebrows look great so I asked where she got it done. Then I went to the Instagram page and bought the December special for microblading (250$) for my little sister as a Christmas present with Jennifer. Booking was easy using the online booking on Instagram. 50$ deposits that will go toward your full payment amount. We went and the place was quite easy to find. It's located on second floor of cute building where there's 2hr street parking. I left my sister there and went to grab food. Then I came back and just played on my phone until she finished her session. Her eyebrows turned out great and very natural. When I saw that Nancy opened up a brow bar I was thrilled! I have been going to her for years. I first met her when I went to the Benefit Brow bar at the Westminster Macy's for my free brow wax. I was instantly hooked on Nancy's skill! She is so genuine and easy going. It was easy to talk to her and convey my wants with my brows. Over the course of a few months she was able to help me grow and shape my brows to what I wanted using a brow mapping technique. As hard as it was to not tweeze for three months to let my brows grow out it definitely paid off. On top of the trim, wax and tweeze Nancy also fills and conceals your brows to perfection. If you are a first time waxer, trying to grow out or shape your brows, or even looking for a new brow bar don't hesitate to give Venus Brow Bar a try. You'd be surprised the make over a good brow wax does to a persons face. You will not regret it. It is a trendy, clean and professional establishment. Now let me tell you about the microblading! It is a permanent make up that simulates natural hair strokes. It can last from one to three years, it all depends on your skin and how well you take care of it. It is a two session process so you do have to come back 6 to 8 weeks later. A touch up is recommended a year later for maintenance which last approximately 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes. I had very sparse, thin and uneven brows. Put simply they were more like cousins than sisters I had read about microblading but didn't think to watch any videos until the night before my appointment and for anyone that doesn't know the process is done with a small sterile blade that is used to create small cut and deposit pigment. I cry and get tense when I get shots or a TB test so when I realized what I was in for the next day I did feel panic. Jennifer Pulido is an incredible, precise professional. She sat down with me to talk about any comments and concerns beforehand. As nervous as I was about that i was more excited at the thought of better brows so I tried to play it cool. She explained the process to me and we decided on a natural and fuller shape. Pain is minimal and numbing gel is applied twice during the process. There is a little pain within the first five minutes and in my experience the actual blade on my skin felt like small scrapes or even small scratches. Feeling a slight burning sensation is perfectly okay. The spot I felt a bit more intense the first time was closer to my arch. Talking about the steps we would be taking helped to calm me significantly so I am including them below. CRUCIAL From personal experience it is very important to not have caffeine, coffee, sodas because it will cause bleeding and lead to loss of pigment. I bleed a bit the first time so I lost a little color. First session takes longer than the touch up because she draws and measures out the shape of your brows. PROCESS She starts by rubbing a spoolie on your brows to open up the pores to help the numbing gel work better. Then she applies a liberal amount of numbing gel back and forth over both brows and leaves it on and covered with plastic wrap for 15 minutes. After she wipes off the gel and before she gets started she shows you the sealed and packaged blade that she will be using during your session. After the first set of strokes is completed it is then covered with pigment and more numbing gel is applied and the steps are repeated. As amazing as Jennifer is if you want good final results you are 100% responsible on following through with the steps of after care. If you do not follow the simple after care you will end up with peeling, scabbing and patchy brows. I am including photos before my microblading and photos of my touch up as well. Definitely book an appointment ahead of time. You can have 99 problems but with Venus Brow Bar your brows won't be one of them! read more

Prior to being referred here I was doing extensive research on Microblading and it's something I wanted to get done for over a year. I was referred here and made an appointment with Jennifer; I was extremely nervous (this is my face I will be doing a change to!) Jennifer made sure to walk me through the whole process, was very patient with me and made sure I was comfortable with going forward with the process. The whole process took 2 hrs (mainly while she draws the shape, waiting for the numbing cream to take effect and the dye to settle). It was a very gentle process, did not hurt at all, no discomfort, and through every step Jennifer was talking and explaining what she was doing and kept showing on the mirror. After it was done she explained how to take care of it for the next two weeks, that it was going to be darker for the first couple of days, she provided ointment, and a sheet of instructions to follow. I initially loved Jennifer's work and thought she was great when she microbladed my eyebrows. I booked my second session with her before leaving my first appointment, but then... I got a phone call the night before my second session (even though they have a no cancelation within 24 hours policy or my deposit won't be refunded) saying Jennifer is out and they had to reschedule my appointment for 2 weeks later. I understand things happen so I patiently waited for my appointment day to come because I was so excited to get my second session done and finish this process, but then... I got a TEXT MESSAGE saying Jennifer will be out again but now they don't know when she'll be back. I tried calling to see what I can do since I'm mid treatment and it's not recommended I wait too long before my next session but no one answered my calls. It's been 2 months now and Jennifer is still not answering my phone calls or replying to my texts. I'm struggling to find an artist who is willing to continue her work because they don't want to use a different pigment or blade size than what she used. At least be professional enough by calling your clients back who you've left hanging mid treatment.
