No one answers the telephone, very unprofessional when you call an establishment and there's no one accepting nor returning your calls!!

exactly as I expected, gilt bar was phenomenal - the beef…read moretartare was the best I've ever had, it was so filled with flavor, every bite tasted like a beef salad. the egg was jammy and delicious adding a new layer of richness to the meal. the bread it came with was FRESH, hard crispy crust surrounding thick cuts of spongey bread - the truffle malfadine was perfectly cooked long chewy noodles with the perfect amount of a truffle pepper sauce over them. certain bites had full peppercorns, breaking through the slight creaminess. - I had high hopes for the burger and was picturing a bougie restaurant thick cut juicy burger. it was fascinating because it had the same juicy soft flavor, but it was more of a Smashburger style so you had a little bit of crisp on the outside and instead of a thick singular patty, it was two on top of each other. the fries were solid (not very salty which was divisive) but the aioli elevated the fries and burger to a new level, huge points - Guinness here is so cheap. my dirty martini was dirty as all hell and delicious. the service was so kind and attentive and brought out extra ice cream with hot fudge for my birthday. the carrot cake was incredibly moist and tasted like real carrots, nuts, and spices, not enough frosting for me tho hehe - this is literally such a stunning restaurant with a photo booth and a downstairs sultry bar, and an open standing space around the bar upstairs. I get why it is always booked. If I was to come back, I would do it all again except ...maybe instead of the burger... try something else hmm

The cocktails were beautifully crafted and worth the visit alone. The food was good, but not necessarily the star of the night. What really stood out was the atmosphere and the service, both absolutely incredible. One of those places you go for the vibe as much as the meal.

There is an epic wall mural that features different aspects of the city, including a huge Barack Obama head. As I said: epic. The bar is separated into two distinct parts, divided by a counter/tables in the center (you have to walk all the way around if you want to switch sides or move at the tables). On one side is the bar and a few TVs to watch the games, giving it a louder sports bar kind of vibe. On the other side there are a bunch of tables--almost like picnic tables. It feels very communal and laid-back. It's a place you can sip on drinks and easily spend time with a group of friends. The Cove is very group-friendly. My favorite part? My friend brings his dog there and it's no problem. Is this bar a dive? Yes. Do I care? No. Do I actually love it? Absolutely. Best bar on the area, hands down.

There were a lot of delays and cancellations due to weather, so they did have a waitlist sign towards the front to be able to easily join the waitlist from your phone. Since it was just me, myself, and I...my total wait was 2 mins, I barely made it to sit down in the food court area when I got the text. It was super easy to scan in my lounge pass, boarding pass, then grab a seat. Not a huge lounge, but lots of outlets, WiFi, different types of seating. A few different options including, bowl of fruit, toast, oatmeal, pancakes, egg mixture. I did enjoy the spa water. They also have 2 restrooms and a bar in there. I'm crazy and brought avocados with me from home because I didn't want them to die while I was traveling; made for a nice accompaniment for their egg mixture.

I do think they need a little more crowd control, let people wait a little longer rather than cram everyone in. The menu is the same menu as other The Club locations, as I found out that day visiting multiple lounges. Just a couple of soups, salad bar, and dessert. I did have a brownie that somehow they had themed Chicago, and I will say it was an excellent brownie. The bathrooms are also far too few and cramped. Someone had cleared my drink away while I was in the bathroom. Understandable but this just seemed like a really chaotic place. I left quickly because the inside of the lounge seemed more cramped and busy compared to out in the terminal.
