I'm writing this review to warn others about my disappointing experience with NFM LENDING (Andy…read moreBeigel). Despite putting 25% down and having a credit score over 800, I was charged $19,418.88 for an interest rate buy-down -- a fee that was never clearly explained or justified during the process. With such a strong financial profile, I expected better rates and more transparency. Instead, I felt blindsided by this massive fee at closing. The communication throughout was poor, and it felt like I was being penalized rather than rewarded for being a well-qualified borrower. This was not the level of service or honesty I expected. If you're working with this lender, ask detailed questions about points and rate adjustments early, and do not assume you're getting the best deal just because you qualify for one. I will not be recommending this lender to anyone

They are not obligated to wire the money to me and want me to travel to pick up a check? Are we still in prehistoric times? I should add they asked me to pay for the postage. Really? I should pay for DHL?
