They had the trimmer but not the battery and swore I did not bring it in. They denied that I started the trimmer when I brought it in so that they could hear the noise it made, this is another lie. There would be no reason for me to leave the trimmer for repairs without the battery and no reason for me come to pick it up if I hadn't left it with them. My guess is they sold it since the 4AH battery is very expensive.

After lots of asking around, I found South Coast Garden Starters. Grant came over for a look, and a while later he sent a crew of 2 to work on our yard. These guys were cheerful, professional, and tidy. They weeded just like I would have: ripping those babies out of the ground root and all - not just chopping off their heads and pretending that was enough. They protected the good plants. They put down mulch nice and thick. They shaped my shrubs. And they gave me good advice and cleaned up after themselves really well. Our yard looks so good, and my back doesn't hurt because of it. The problem? I had replaced the vacuum bag with a Miele knockoff. Not a good choice on my part as the lid to the Miele jammed initially and the machine would no longer start. Even when the lid was realigned, the hose would not click into place. Staff also bandaged up a cut on my hand which I acquired when, at my car, I removed the knockoff bag. After the first aide, I purchased genuine Miele bags. Comparing the genuine article with the knockoff, it is apparent why the knockoff was so capable of doing damage to me and my machine. The power head of my Electrolux quit working gradually, I thought it was in the elbow into the power head turns out I was right after she checked everything else. They said they could order a part and fix it for me . About a week later I go get my vacuum and it works for about 7-8 months then gradually stopped working just like before. I figured I couldn't hurt it so I took it apart found the problem, wire connection in the elbow to head the part that should be new. The protective stuff around wires was all frayed, scuffs all over the part it is NOT a new part. I took the part and paperwork in to the store and talk to them. They show me the invoice for the new part and I'm told "I believe my worker". Then he says "we always send the old part with the customer, where is that? I told him I wasn't given an old part just my vacuum and the bill for $104.95 parts and labor. I was ripped off , charged for a new part and installation and all they did was reattach old wire which didn't hold. I will never use or recommend The Electric Hospital again..

Here's the truth: I was the first to review this location, and I've had plenty of experience with them to voice an honest opinion. I purchased an Englander mattress several years ago, have been fairly happy with the bed, but wasn't thrilled with doing business at MBH. It was the first... and the last purchase. You see, I don't care how many years a person's family has owned a business. I don't care whether you're a bulldog or a pirate, or how many sporting events you attend. So, I didn't make mention of how "sports supportive" the owner of MBH is. He took it VERY personally. To date, I've never seen a business owner go to such extremes to try to change his "yelp" image. It's kinda funny when you think about it. The lack of customers should be an indication that I wasn't the only dissatisfied local or otherwise consumer! The reason I deleted my first review was after noticing that one of the biggest irritants had already been addressed. For more than 3 decades the place looked like little more than a junkyard and was a major eye-sore right on the main highway through town. While the outside seemingly has been picked up a bit, I thought perhaps my review was too harsh, even though I don't imagine it got cleaned up by choice. I'm guessing city ordinance. THEN... I started reading the reviews posted immediately after mine --- you know those kind that have ONE review and one GREAT thing to say about ONE business? Not fishy in the least! And, the last time I was inside the store... it looked so awful I actually offered to come in and do a little decorating. Once again, I was met with RUDE! It does not take a barn or warehouse feel to find value. Value is first in how you treat customers and visitors. That should be enough said. Beyond that, how they operate business does not seem to be contained to a less than appealing store. In this case... the bad attitude pretty much seems to follow the owner around town. The owner showed us around, took his time with us and applied no pressure. We did visit another store in Coos Bay and one in North Bend. Bargain House keeps it real -- no nonsense, no pressure and really great mattresses. The mattress we chose was definitely the best value we could find in Coos Bay. Walking into the store, holding the offending faucet in his hands, my friend asked for someone who know about plumbing. Waiting for just a couple of minutes, Jimmy came up. He was a tremendous help! Taking the faucet apart, finding replacement pieces & putting it all back together again. Patiently answering our questions as he worked. As I read this I make it sound easy, but it wasn't. Jimmy had to get the proper tools, research to find the proper replacement cartridge, dry fit it to be sure it fit properly & then get all together. If any employee is deserving of praise (& maybe a pay raise!) it's Jimmy. Friendly, knowledgeable & jovial he is an excellent representative of his store. He's made me an Ace Hardware customer. Ace is the place.
