Let's begin, with it's July 4 th eve. I can't get into my safe for over a week.I've spoken to manufacturer. it is weirdly beeping open but it won't. manufacturer suggested I push lever with all my strength! obviously didn't know my strength! Very frustrated & a bit nervous! After I spoke with 10 locksmiths, all claimed to be authorized to open my safe &all of whom sounded like they had no knowledge of my very high quality safe & they all wanted to drill-leaving me an very expensive but unusable safe . I went to the source - very similar to top 100 drs in USA - I come upon Valesco ! I call. it's Fri night . I ask the questions & he answers them all correctly ! I ask him when he can come ie. tomorrow , Monday, Tuesday ? he asks where I live? he says it will take him an hour !!!!!***** he arrives in 45 minutes and I'm on my way home. Bit,before he began, he checked everything .Even showed me the problem! In 5 minutes - safe open, code changed and even gave me advice what to do if.... The nicest, most knowledge safe Locksmith of all time ! 45 minutes later I'm ready to go out ! he Rocks ! read more

Excellent! Jose and his assistant came to open 3 safes. We were convinced they needed to be drilled but they were able to get all 3 open in less than an hour! Very friendly, experienced and professional, and very passionate about what they do. We were a little anxious about hiring someone to open our safes, but we could not have made a better choice! I highly recommend them. The price he quoted stayed the same and even went down because 1 of the safes was very easy for them to open. Thanks again! We will be calling you to move the safes next! read more

Jose was wonderful to work with! Called him late Friday night with an issue of my safe not opening any more. He scheduled me the next day and gave me a time window from when he would be available, and then confirmed with me the next day. When he arrived, he quickly figured out there was something wrong not electronically, but mechanically, with my safe. It took him just a few minutes of adjusting and ended up opening it quickly, and then confirmed the mechanical issue after it was opened. We agreed on a price prior to him coming, and he ended up lowering the price for the service because it ended up being quite easy! Highly recommend Jose and Velasco Lock services! Happy to support a local business and family from the 562 any day! Thank you again, Jose! read more

I could not be happier with Jose Velasco and his assistant David. They were in the area (Altadena) on another job and stopped by. My job was to repair a cannon executive safe that was under warranty, was a difficult repair that required drilling and lots of patience. He wound up putting a better lock manual and digital so I should never have this problem again. He was patient with me as to how many turns left and right on how to set the combo and how to change the combos etc. If I could give more stars I would. May his business be blessed!!! read more

I was locked out of my safe and Cannon Safe recommended Velasco Lock and Safe. Jose Velasco was friendly, professional but most of all competent. My safe was in a tight location and was not easily opened. Jose stayed with it until 1:30am, finally getting my safe opened and replacing the lock. He repaired the drill holes and cleaned up afterward, despite the late hour. I doubt there is a more dedicated Lock Smith to be found. He provided information to avoid a problem in the future and honored his original quote although my safe took him several hours to open. Jose Velasco will be my first call if I need a Lock Smith in the future. read more

These guys are one of the best, professional safe movers in LA at the most affordable rate. I moved ~2000 lbs safe from Bakersfield to Los Angeles last week and hired Jose for the job at only a fraction of the rate other companies quoted. We had to move the safe out of Bakersfield early in the morning, and Jose and his team had no issue with driving up at 5AM to pick up the safe. Other companies wouldn't work outside of normal 9-to-5 or charge overtime fees. They were very competent and efficient in carrying out the safe in a very safe manner, made sure I was happy with the safe placement and adjustments. They even drove out of their way to buy and place a metal plate under the safe for me, which was required by the building. I had an issue with the building management, but they were very patient and professionally worked with me till the end. They are very easy to work with, friendly, competent, super knowledgeable, and I would absolutely recommend Velasco Lock and Safe for any of your safe moving needs. read more

This has to be the hardest working man in the safe industry!!! He came to my house in redlands after driving from Malibu at 2:00 pm 100 miles and 3 1/2 hours of driving!!! After all that he went toe to toe with my broken safe for 5 hours, it was 11:30 pm we had to stop cause of noise from the machines. But still he wanted to continue into the nite till the job was done and I was satisfied. He can back the next morning, and with permission from canon to just cut it open got it open! He stayed and showed me every little thing about how it was broken I leaned a lot about safes that day lol. Not only was he knowledgeable he was a nice person to talk to and did everything he said he would do!! read more
