He scheduled me the next day and gave me a time window from when he would be available, and then confirmed with me the next day. When he arrived, he quickly figured out there was something wrong not electronically, but mechanically, with my safe. It took him just a few minutes of adjusting and ended up opening it quickly, and then confirmed the mechanical issue after it was opened. I could not be happier with Jose Velasco and his assistant David. They were in the area (Altadena) on another job and stopped by. My job was to repair a cannon executive safe that was under warranty, was a difficult repair that required drilling and lots of patience. He wound up putting a better lock manual and digital so I should never have this problem again. I was locked out of my safe and Cannon Safe recommended Velasco Lock and Safe. Jose Velasco was friendly, professional but most of all competent. My safe was in a tight location and was not easily opened. Jose stayed with it until 1:30am, finally getting my safe opened and replacing the lock. He repaired the drill holes and cleaned up afterward, despite the late hour. I doubt there is a more dedicated Lock Smith to be found. He provided information to avoid a problem in the future and honored his original quote although my safe took him several hours to open. These guys are one of the best, professional safe movers in LA at the most affordable rate. I moved ~2000 lbs safe from Bakersfield to Los Angeles last week and hired Jose for the job at only a fraction of the rate other companies quoted. We had to move the safe out of Bakersfield early in the morning, and Jose and his team had no issue with driving up at 5AM to pick up the safe. Other companies wouldn't work outside of normal 9-to-5 or charge overtime fees. They were very competent and efficient in carrying out the safe in a very safe manner, made sure I was happy with the safe placement and adjustments. They even drove out of their way to buy and place a metal plate under the safe for me, which was required by the building. I had an issue with the building management, but they were very patient and professionally worked with me till the end. They are very easy to work with, friendly, competent, super knowledgeable, and I would absolutely recommend Velasco Lock and Safe for any of your safe moving needs. read more

This has to be the hardest working man in the safe industry!!! He came to my house in redlands after driving from Malibu at 2:00 pm 100 miles and 3 1/2 hours of driving!!! After all that he went toe to toe with my broken safe for 5 hours, it was 11:30 pm we had to stop cause of noise from the machines. But still he wanted to continue into the nite till the job was done and I was satisfied. He can back the next morning, and with permission from canon to just cut it open got it open!
