I had stored my 2021 FLHT last winter. I ordered a new radio from them to also install it while there. when I picked the bike up in May the radio stations would not work. I reached out to the at least seven times to get the radio fixed. They kept giving me excuses as in waiting for parts etc. Over six months later the radio is still not fixed. I finally had to take it to a different dealer to have it fixed. I would not recommend this dealership for any service work. read more

After buying a used 2006 HD Heritage Softail from these guys, I won't go back. They was told that I want all fluids checked and filled, everything checked before I took the bike home. Picked it up March 13th and rode it to my buddy who is a mechanic, we tore into it and found a lot. Front brake barely had any fluid to push through the system, the back brake fluid looked like a swamp, drag special spark plugs in a street bike, and a spaghetti mess of wiring behind the front head light. I can't use my highbeams because my back brake light doesn't come on when I use it. This is my first bike and already have a horrible experience from my first dealership. My buddy has helped this place get some business from friends that wanted bikes and sent them to Dan. He will no longer be doing that. Dropped my bike off because I had intermittent hand brake loss. Pretty dangerous without the hand brake. They called the next day, did the work without my authorization, which was only a brake fluid flush and cost $225!, for flushing the brake fluid???? I thought that was ridiculous. I stopped at a different dealer and asked what it would cost there. $125.70 plus fluid and they would have flushed the clutch fluid for that price too! Come to find out I was also charged labor on a trike not a regular bike. Feel like I got screwed over here. Everyone watch your invoice if you have service work done here! I bought a hat for my husband for his BIRTHDAY at Vehicle City HD booth when we visited Bikes on the Bricks. I was happy to find a hat he really liked and bought it, the man running the booth took the hat from me and my money he put the hat in a Harley Davidson bag and we were on our way. A week later I give the hat to my husband for his BIRTHDAY in the HD bag and he was happy until he saw he would not be able to wear it because the dumb ass salesman did NOT remove the security button. I am confused as to why the security button was on the hat since we were at an open air event in the first place. Now I have to take it to the storeand get it removed and I paid cash so I am concerned they will question me. What a huge FAIL!!!! read more

5/16/18 Dropped bike off due to a stalling issue at low speeds. 5/26/18 Vehicle City called stating the bike was ready for pickup. $17.00 in parts (Intake Seal Manifold, Screws, Induction Modul) $237.50 labor for a total of $276.17. 5/29/18 Picked bike up. 6/2/18 Took bike for a 100 mile ride, bike continued to stall at low speed. 6/4/18 Took bike back to Vehicle City 6/5/18 Vehicle City called stating bike required Stage 2 Download/Dyno, had to purchase Tuner going to be $600 6/5/18 I spoke to Harley Davidson headquarters, they stated bike had recall #0113, Vehicle City never mentioned it or offered to fix recall. HD headquarters suggested we take bike to other dealership for 2nd opinion. 6/5/18 Took bike to another dealership, 6/16/18 found out issue was Fuel Pump and Idle Air Control. 6/26/18 Picked up bike rode 150 miles all seems to be good! So moral of story, always get a second opinion and don't allow dealerships like this to charge for work that isn't even needed or going to fix the issue! Had we allowed Vehicle City to do a Download/Dyno at $600 plus the already $276.17 they charged us the first time, our bike would still have not been fixed. The worst part, this started 5/16/18 and we just got bike back 6/26/18 and leave for our planned 9 day trip on Saturday 6/30/18. read more

We rode our bike all over this summer without no issues whatsoever. We took it into Vehicle City to have a stage 1 upgrade, hydraulic cam chain tensioner upgrade and oil change. We picked it up Friday. When my husband got close to home, the engine started knocking louder than the pipes. He checked the oil and there was none in the oil tank. We assumed they forgot to put oil in after the oil change. He called Vehicle City to let them know the issue and they claimed they didn't do an oil change (we paid for one). They came and picked up the bike right away. They called the next morning and said we were good to go. Went to pick up the bike. They had us wait while they gave the bike a good cleaning (when we got it back the first time they hadn't bothered to wipe off all greasy fingerprints off of it). They brought it out and said the next oil change was free. My husband drove it home, checked the oil after and it was still full. Shortly after, we took it out for a ride. We didn't get 20 miles in before the oil light came on and started the loud knocking again. We pulled off the side of the road and got a tow home. Checked the oil and there was none in the oil tank. My husband called Vehicle City the following Monday and was told that they were not dealing with the bike anymore. So we're just screwed $1600 later!!! It was a great ride before they got their hands on it! Never again!!! read more

If you have never been to Vehicle City you will be blown away. It's a massive multi-dealer complex. The facility is clean, organized and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was focused on a PWC purchase, but the options seem endless. The models were all in the showroom or stored in a basement. Nothing is outside victim to MI weather. Even with a short staff that day, VC did a great job taking care of me, walking me through the purchase and prep process and keeping me informed. Ryan Fohey was my sales person and he was very helpful and made the purchase experience comfortable - as comfortable as it can be. There was a little question at the very end of the purchase process with the Finance guy regarding a charge on the trailor that I did not fully understand previously, but all in all it was not a big issue. My only issue - and not an issue really - was at the very end, just before leaving, we discovered I needed a trailer light adapter. I assumed they would throw it in, but I had to go back into the store and buy the $10 part. LOL. I just bought a PWC and trailer! Anyway, all and all I would recommend Vehicle City and would work with Ryan again. read more
