I just had an appointment & I am blown away. Dr. Yen is the best Botox/filler professional I have ever come across. I've received Botox in NY/DC/LV - and he is the best I have ever seen across the country - hands down. Dr. Yen is so funny. He is down for good conversation and always laughing. He's a retired anesthesiologist so he knows a thing or two. I get Xeomin (similar to botox) from him. I'm happy with my results. There was a area that didn't get evenly treated on my forehead but I went back and paid to add more units to make the correction. The office is quiet, just him and located in a business park. I docked a star due to the missed area and sometimes it's hard to understand what he's saying. Fortunately I've had botox, fillers, etc so I knew what I was getting into however, for someone who's never done it before I would feel lost. I signed up for YELP just to leave this review. He is a scam. I bought a Groupon as a way to test his services. He scheduled my appointment but when I showed up for my appointment he yelled at me for buying the Groupon and to cancel it. He stated that he will not refund or fulfill the groupon I purchased because Groupon charges him to much. He kicks me out of his office and states if I want real service then call his receptionist and book another appointment and with twice the amount of product. Nothing less. What is even more interesting, is that he said and did the same thing to another girl before my appointment but I had ignored it. His first words when I sat down were, did you hear what I just told the previous girl? I am quite confused as I leave his office and wondering what just happened. His fraudulent behavior and unprofessionalism is absolutely shocking. I really do hope Groupon investigates him. Had to put in a credit card just to schedule an appointment. Walked in and he was on his computer and very flustered. He asked how I found him and I said Groupon and he was furious and told me to get a refund from them immediately and give him cash. He then rambled on about living on the government and they did not need to know how much he is making. I told him that I actually ended up booking on his website instead because his price was the same on there and had already put my credit card info in when I booked. He had a patch over one eye and said he could do this job with his eyes closed. He had me fill out a packet of information but did not look at it at all. He did not wash or disinfect his hands and when I tried to tell him medical history and current meds he said he did not care because it did not matter. He then starts rambling on about how people look like monkeys with cheek filler... it is so weird. A man walked in and told him that the botox he gave him a couple weeks earlier did not look right and he wanted more. He charged him $500 for unit of 75 but it only took less than 2 minutes for him to say he was done then he told the man he wanted cash only, it should have taken much longer for that amount. I came in for one thing that I scheduled my appointment for and he just started yelling that he will do whatever he wants because he is the doctor but what he was talking about was not what I was there for??? He kept telling me to come back tomorrow, which I could not do, so I told him I would not be coming back at all, because he did not appear safe, and took my paperwork and left and did not have anything at all done. EVERYONE reading this.... I went home and looked up his name, address, company name and he does NOT have a business license. He only has an LLC (so protect him personally from a lawsuit) but it is NOT at the address he is at currently. I cannot find a current medical license for him. The reviews on his website are fake. Also, he charged my credit card for the full amount of the service I booked even though I walked out with nothing done because he was so strange. This place is awful. Please don't go here. I scheduled a consult, just a consult, and when I arrived to the office it was completely empty. No staff or patients. I walked in and the doctor was filling syringes up in a patient room to the side, no mask and no gloves. He handed me a packet to fill out. I finished the packet. And he said come inside and we will get started. I asked him if he would wear a mask. He laughed and said no he doesn't wear masks in his office. I told him I would feel more comfortable if he had one on since he would be so close to me. He laughed and said I had nothing to worry about and if I was uncomfortable, then I was free to leave. I told him I would like to finish the consult and I would come back another day when he had a mask. He asked what my questions were. I told him his packet he gave me said 80% of people have side effects from the injections. He laughed and said where did you hear that because it's not true. And I said it's right here in your packet you gave me. He said "oh I've never actually read that thing, but that's an exaggeration there's little to no side effects for people". (So that was extremely confusing!) then I told him I was interested in having Botox around my eyes. And he said I dont get to chose where the Botox goes. He is the professional and he will put it where it needs to go. He said my forehead looked the worst and needed it mostly. I said ok I'm not concerned about my forehead as much as my eyes. He said I would have to purchase additional units if I wanted my eyes done. But he would do my forehead first because that's where he thought needed it. I walked out. Everything about this crook of a doctor was really really shady. No gloves, no mask, refusal to wear a mask and then having such a rude conversation with him. This doctor Disfigure my face, he injected almost the entire product on my left side and left my right side flat. When I try to tell him something he would just say no and do whatever he wanted, at the end of my appointment I was so disappointed because I could see how bad he disfigured my face so I told him but he said to go back the following week which I did and he said I needed to pay him another $450 just to fix his mistake and also kicked me out of his office because I challenged him and told him how could he do that to somebody's face and then try to get more money out of them. First of all, Dr Yen is....unique. Quirky, even. He works in a tiny office in an office park. You won't find a pretty waiting room. Just him, no receptionist. He also talks quickly and laughs a lot. He is no-nonsense - an anesthesiologist (and I'm sure I spelled that wrong) who has great knowledge of the muscles and structure of the face. DO NOT get groupon for his office! He hates it. I don't know if he's locked into a contract with them or what, but don't do it. Just call his office or book online at his website and you'll get an excellent price. His injection skill is unmatched. I've only experienced one or two tiny bruises in the past 4 years and he injects very deeply and effectively - my Xeomin lasts for 5 to 6 months before it wears off. So overlook his tiny office and his quirky demeanor. The man knows how and where to inject, and NO, he's not a scammer. He's a medical doctor and he knows his stuff! read more

I had a terrible experience with this business. After injecting my forehead Dr. Yen talked to me about the "ugly area" under my right eye. He convinced me that injecting me in the under eye area was safe and I would love it. I was skeptical and it was really foolish of me to agree. I few days after my xeomin injections the right side of my face started feeling weird. My right eye was drooping and my smile started turning down and is now crooked. I contacted the number for this business and apparently this is a cell phone number of the administrative staff that schedules appts. She would pass on the information but it took 4 days to hear from the Dr. Yen. He scheduled a session for me to come in and when I did he laughed and dismissed my concern saying he could barely notice anything wrong. He also did not take responsibility at all for having caused the issue. He suggested that it must be a medical condition. It was insulting. Dr. Yen is the most fabulous and amazing doctor specializing in botox and fillers. He offers a free consultation and explains thoroughly the different products for his treatment and the reason he selects a specific one for you. He is very considerate and knows everyone has a "budget." Before treatment begins, a review is done and a treatment chart is made. Pictures are taken before and after. Topical anesthetic is applied before the procedure begins and he uses the smallest needles made. He maximizes every drop of botox or fillers and is extremely gentle. My skin is super sensitive and I had absolutely no bruising and my results were incredible!!!!! I consider Dr. Yen "a very gifted artist" with fillers to achieve a natural balance.
