Neither of us felt like our therapists were particularly skilled or well-trained, and the massages lacked the technique and attention to detail we were hoping for- especially considering the price point and the wellness-focused atmosphere. The space itself is beautiful and relaxing, but the quality of the actual treatments just didn't match the environment. We left feeling disappointed and wishing we had chosen another spa. Overall, it wasn't our favorite experience, and we probably wouldn't return.

As soon as you come in, someone is there to greet you. In the waiting area, they have plenty of comfortable seating, refreshing water and mint you can help yourself to, and soft and tranquil music to enjoy while you wait for your appointment. Pro tip: I'm a high school teacher, so I set my appointments in the evening that way I can shower before my appointment and head home after and then sleep. Nothing feels better than a fresh facial before bedtime! Facials: I have the custom facial membership but every other month or so, I'll upgrade to the next tier, depending what my facialist recommends. All the estheticians are knowledgeable, so you can't go wrong. I tried Jackie for the first time today, and I'm going to book with her again because she seems to know more about my skin type. I've tried various facials, and they're all amazing. Whatever your concerns are, they have a mask, enzyme, ect. to help you. Wellness: for a small added monthly fee, you can add unlimited access to their wellness services. I've only tried the BallancerPro, but they have light therapy, sauna, sound healing, etc. The value is incredible! Flexibility: what I love is the flexibility. As a member, if I skip a monthly facial, I can gift it to someone or apply it for another month. I can also pause my membership without any fees. This is not the type of establishment that tries to upsell you with products and add ons to their service. They truly care about serving their clients with the best. I get compliments on my skin, especially when I tell them my age-47. Of course some of it is partly due to heath, diet, exercise, and genetics. But it would behoove me to acknowledge the help that Exhaal Wellness Spa has provided me with as I try my best to age gracefully. It's a remarkable establishment that I absolutely recommend.

I have had a couple different massage therapists, but as other reviews have pointed out, Bruno was memorable. All were terrific, though. Per my boyfriend, he has also received excellent massages from all his therapists as well. In terms of pricing, $90 for the 50min massage, but totally worth it, if you're looking for a more luxurious one, without the strip prices. The front desk lady is also very nice and personable. You walked in one of the towers at the Cancun resort. It was down a hallway way. You walked in a room and there are two pedicure stations on the left and the check in desk to the right. Then there was a door to the back hallway where I'm guessing all the rooms are. I was walked back into the very first room right behind the entrance. The whole time I heard doors slamming in the hallway and the people talking in the front entry. My appointment was at 2:30 but they were finishing up and don't come get me until 2:40. My massage therapist was a male, I prefer female massage therapist especially when I'm pregnant I'm just more comfortable with them. I didn't ask for a replacement because I felt bad about it and didn't want to be rude to him. The massage itself was good. I had to ask him to not be so hard and for less pressure on some points, and again I think that goes back to a women knowing and relating more to pregnant bodies. It was on okay experience. My shoulders are seriously bruised and very sore now. I don't think I'll be back.

I enjoyed a facial and a full body massage. During the entire process, from check-in to departure, I was impressed by the customer service. It's a very relaxing atmosphere and it has a high-end feel. The locker room and waiting area are spotlessly clean. They provide you with a comfy robe and slides, have an area to touch up your hair/makeup after your session if you choose - with plenty of amenities- and they do allow you access to their dry sauna and steam areas as well. My only disappointment is, while they offer lots of scented Voluspa oils for purchase, they don't have samples available. My purchase of services included a 20% discount on merchandise, but I'm not buying an oil without the experience of smelling it first. A small disappointment, not enough to detract from the overall experience, but something for management to consider.

The problem started when attempting to schedule the day prior. During business hours, I called,…read moreleft messages, and emailed. I did not receive any response (and still haven't received any acknowledgment e-mail). I physically went there in attempt to schedule for the following day, but the doors were locked and it was dark inside (it was about 2:00 pm on a weekday). Went back about an hour later and doors were still locked and it looked like cleaning service was inside, it was dark. I had called right when they opened the next day, someone actually answered, lol. She (not very nicely) stated that they had one opening but only in the morning (obviously not ideal, we were hoping to end our trip with a relaxing spa afternoon experience). We had just arrived at a different establishment for breakfast and accepting that one opening meant hoping back into the ride-share and rushing back, which we did (without breakfast). They did accept my mom and I both for that opening but there was no accommodating my husband. I asked for the "girlfriend package", from their spa menu, and the lady said "nope, you can each only have a 50 minute massage, otherwise you won't get booked". Why have a spa menu if it's not honored? She said "the aesthetician is out until Sunday" (this is Friday and we were leaving early Saturday). Why have one aesthetician for the entire resort? The massage was okay but I couldn't get past the poor customer service. I felt physically pushed more than massaged. I felt my feet were avoided (and I am a very clean person). This spa offers nothing for a "spa day" experience. There's no treatment baths or sauna, etc., at least nothing that we were offered. For a spa day experience, I suggest you go elsewhere. If you must go here, start trying to schedule way in advance, as your calls/emails may not get answered for days (if at all) and there might not be anyone working on the day you are hoping for. I wish we had gone elsewhere. This spa has potential but needs to be expanded with more staff (more therapists and aestheticians). They need to be more accommodating and customer-centric. The front desk person definitely needs to be more customer service oriented. Ruined an entire day of our stay.
