They did give me a heads up that they will be raising their prices come January 1st, which is not what anybody wants to hear but I get it.

Terrible experience without even getting started. I spoke with Danielle about wanting to have a…read morewellness exam regarding a new client for the management and treatment of collapsed trachea. I emphasized this was an opportunity to get to meet the staff and speak with the doc regarding possible options for the management of this diagnosis. She requested med recs be sent before the client could be seen. I expressed that I was only looking to see if this would be a good fit and if the visit went well I would then be prepared to transfer the client to this office and have recs sent. She continued to tell me the client cannot be seen without prior records and vaccinations. I stated to her I have had the little guy for 15 years and can answer any questions the doc may have regarding history and therapies and again reinforced this was an initial visit and not requesting any treatment. She continued to repeat her request for records and I explained I did not want to request recs until I was prepared to transfer if this was a good fit. She stated the client cannot be seen without recs transferred. After much back and forth I informed her that if this initial attempt for a visit was any indication for future visits that this would not be a good fit. I requested the appointment be cancelled. It's terrible since this was a referral and I unfortunately did not have good feedback to the person referring. I have had many difficulties getting appropriate treatment historically for him and this is why I basically wanted to have a discussion with the team to understand whether there was an opportunity for the team and myself to be on the same page for treatment moving forward. Unfortunately this has catastrophically failed right at the gatekeeper Danielle. This is just my experience and take it as you will but if the face of the business doesn't get you to want to come in then the rest of it will be less than.

Since we started going to Ridgeview, they run to the car as if they're headed to the dog park. Dr. Knope-Simpson is outstanding at creating a calm, low-stress environment for animals. She always takes the time to answer questions thoroughly and address concerns honestly and realistically, which gives us tremendous confidence in the care our dogs receive. We also recently used Ridgeview's emergency clinic when we were concerned about a potential intestinal blockage. Their team got us in quickly, identified the issue, and helped us avoid an invasive and expensive surgery thanks to their expertise and thoughtful approach to care. Between the skilled veterinarians, amazing office staff and technicians, reasonable pricing, and locally owned practice, Ridgeview consistently exceeds expectations. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Megan was great on the phone! I truly appreciate the genuine kindness. She told me how much the initial visit would cost ($87). I called at 0900 and we got an appointment for Steve at 1100. Megan greeted us as we came in. Again, it's easy to spend money where you are treated well. McKenna the vet assistant came in and asked very detailed questions surrounding Steve. I was really impressed that the profiling was done to such a detailed degree. Dr. Anne Belshan saw Steve. She was fantastic with him. She was very thorough and didn't charge us a crazy amount. I can't say enough about Dr. Belshan and the Staff at All Creatures. I need to get Marty (other ferret) in for a check up, along with our Gecko, Opie, and our dog, Moose! All Creatures is really one of a kind!

But at Gentle Doctor, they were willing and professional when I asked them to take over the care of my Howie. Previously, he had been seen elsewhere with additional, specialized care from the only animal eye service in town. I've written elsewhere about that eye clinic and the experience there was ugly. But Gentle Doctor Animal Hospital was willing to take over Howie's care--and his care was more thorough with far more kindness and concern than any other clinic. When I had to put Howie to sleep, the staff at Gentle Doctor, from the receptionists to the techs to the veterinarian were INCREDIBLY kind to us. It's been terrible to lose Howie. He was my best friend. But everyone at Gentle Doctor helped us in the kindest, most patient ways. I will forever be grateful to Gentle Doctor Animal Hospital on West Maple in Omaha.

We have always been treated poorly by the receptionist. Quite some time ago, I mentioned the…read morebehavior to another receptionist at one of our appointments and she advised me to email the owner about the unpleasant receptionist, apparently it's an ongoing issue. I had a procedure scheduled on August 22 that was recommended by the owner, who is also a vet. Saturday I went to the office because I needed dog food and a copy of the prescription for food. Once again, the receptionist was very harsh with her words and argumentative. I was so embarrassed, at one point I looked at her and said " you don't have to be so rude." The encounter had me so upset, because I went in for dog food and a copy of the food prescription that was already in my dogs chart! Once again, I emailed the owner Sunday about my experience. Monday the owner called me with his guns loaded, defending his employees and their passive aggressive behavior towards paying customers. In fact, the owner stated, that there was a lot going on that morning that had nothing to do with me. Sooo I guess I'm the lucky one who got the brunt of it!? Because I questioned the integrity of his employees, he will no longer serve my dogs needs. I'm at a loss for words and truly feel that the owner was dismissive about my concerns and not willing to listen. If you want people who are truly passionate about the well being of your pet, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE! There is a lot of drama in the workplace and they feed off each other. And unfortunately it leaks over into the care of our pets. Do NOT recommend!
