I've been taking Pilates classes at Veda Bar and absolutely love them, but the real game-changer for me has been the Halo Therapy (salt) room. I suffer from asthma and allergies, and after a bad case of bronchitis seven weeks ago, I was still struggling to breathe--just walking my dog uphill left me winded. After just a couple of sessions in the salt room, my chest cleared up completely. I can breathe freely again, and it's truly been a lifesaver. I've always been a fan of Pilates but have never had the experience and outcomes I do with Terri. I sit for long hours at work and sit some more in my long commute and have had chronic back pain. Terri's exercises target and strength not only the back muscles but also muscles that indirectly influence my back and posture. Her Pilates has virtually erased all back pain that I would experience on a daily basis. I am so thankful for that. My husband also has chronic pain from old injuries caused by the time he served in the Marines. He's gone to physical therapy for decades, but Pilates with Terri has given him the quickest relief. I highly recommend! I also tried Terri's skin oil out to fight my chronic dry skin. I was experiencing flakey and itchy skin and couldn't find relief with any type of lotion. I started using Terri's oil morning and evening and after about a week my skin was glowing and my dry patches were gone. I can finally put on makeup without looking like I had flakey skin underneath and my skin looks a lot brighter overall. I haven't gone back to my old skin care routine yet and I tend to continue using Terri's oil (btw I store it in the fridge to extend its lifetime and protect it from light). read more

I absolutely love this boutique style studio! The owner Terri is such a sweet soul. She is so passionate about women's health and educating the community about a healthier vibrant lifestyle. I came in for Pilates but I quickly learned they offer Ayurvedic consultations and treatments! Definitely excited to come in and get traditional treatments done. Veda Bar is an amazing women's pilates & wellness studio! Teri, the owner, is one of the best & highest quality instructors I have ever had the pleasure of taking a class with! She is so technical with positions & is super knowledgeable in the body's form. She keeps the classes fun and challenging in the best way! Not only is she an amazing pilates instructor, she is super welcoming & kind and has curated such a unique & peaceful space! I've also taken classes with her other instructors, Sophia and Klara who are both great as well! They all keep the class fun & dynamic! She offers a variety of different wellness treatments and I've experienced the infrared sauna which is amazing after a pilates class! Teri is AWESOME!!! Last year was challenging for my wife and I. She broke her patella (knee) into 5 pieces. Required 2 surgeries, 4 screws and a tension band to hold the pieces together. She then spent another 3 months in rehab to get range of motion back. As soon as she was ready she called Teri to rehab the next stage of recovery-- getting her strength and balance back. My wife and Teri did private sessions for a period of time to accelerate this portion of recovery. It wasn't long before my wife was back to group Pilates classes, riding her Peloton again, and now we are booking a ski trip end of March. I too had the pleasure of working with Teri in group Pilates classes. After getting rear-ended on the highway my back got thrown out of alignment. Pain was everywhere and nothing seemed to help. I went to Pilates and Teri quickly demonstrated what I needed to do to strengthen my core which would help alleviate many of the problems I was experiencing. Within a few months going twice a week I noticed a huge difference in how I felt overall. But, Teri's classes will kick your ass, so be ready! Teri is super sweet, very friendly and fun to talk to. I've been training with Teri for the past six months and I can't recommend Teri enough.
