I found Danii on Yelp around 5 months ago and left her a message- she got back to me right away and we set up a free in-person consultation through her site. I had been struggling for the past few years to get out of this rut. Prior to the pandemic, I had been doing a variety of HIIT, reformer pilates and yoga classes, but after the switch to working from home and odd work hours (pandemic), I fell into poor habits/lack of exercise and didn't know how to dig myself out. I had lost motivation and didn't know how to bounce back. The same group classes just weren't cutting it anymore. I knew the first place I needed to start was with my mental health. I wanted to incorporate working out into my life without the focus on fast results or quick weight loss. Danii listened to my needs and completely understood what I was looking for. So I'm a young 32 year old healthy electrician. Now while some may say I look well on the outside, I'm an absolute mess on the inside! I suffer from ankylosing spondylitis and have gone through all kinds of therapies and tried stretching on my own, and only so much was or can be done. I was super fortunate to catch Dani while she was in Arizona and scheduled a couple sessions with her and the way she aided my stretching drastically increased my hip and back mobility as well as helped decrease tons of pent up stress and inflammation. I'm not too educated on the entirety of her workings but I have to honestly say it was the best I've ever felt. I found out quick that not only was I sore/stressed/stiff in my hips and back, but EVERYWHERE! I can't say enough of how much Danii helped me today. Today my first SRT session and it was amazing! I have not experienced something like this before and would highly recommend. I've been having lower back pain /discomfort due to an injury from last year. She helped me loosen and opened up my tight hips as well with my shoulders. Dani has been training me now going on 2 months. I have never worked with a trainer before. My primary goal is to learn how to lift weights properly to achieve good muscle development. Dani is very patient and explains the mechanics of the movemenuts as you perform the activity. She points out the different muscles that are involve and why you are doing the combination of activities together. This helps me remember the movements when I do them at home. I did a fascial stretch with Dani and she did a great job. My right hip was locked since I gave birth to my son 6 months ago. I also had previous injuries on both my elbows and with only 1 session so far, I felt great. The first thing I notice right away when I stood up was no more pain in my hip and I could thrust forward with no sharp pain following. My elbow were not as stiff and I had better overall mobility throughout my body. My body was so relax and stress free. I left knowing I wanted to book another session with her. I met Dani at a Motion Fittness pop up event a couple of weeks ago. She is very easy to approach and makes you feel supper at ease right from the start. I had a uncomfortable pain in my inner thigh that had was bothering me for about 2 months. I had been to messages hoping that would fix it but it did not. She did a Demo working on me on the side that was bothering me and within 10 minutes I felt relief with light stretching and moving my leg in positions to target the area. I followed up with an hour session on Monday. Last Tuesday was leg day and I could finally run without any uncomfortably. It's now been a week and I'm still doing fine. I'm totally fixed.
