I also loved the backstory behind the store. The inside of the shop is clean and well organized, with everything sorted by genre, making items easy to find. There's a great selection of records to choose from. The prices are reasonable--I paid $40 for a Sade vinyl record. Overall, 10/10. I highly recommend this record store. The ambiance is fantastic, and it's perfectly located in the heart of downtown Hayward.

They have more vhs tapes than dvd's but the guy their knows what's in stock all by memory. Test him and if he's got it he'll pull it out. I'd go more if they weren't so far from my house. I spend more on gas getting there than I do for a rental. And this place even has a private corner for adult videos. So whatever you fancy, you should be able to leave happy.

The vinyls were grouped by music genre. They were in better shape than the $2 piles. The $2 vinyls weren't sorted, so it was fun to see what was available. As we were paying, the owner said that he regularly rotates what's out. Would come back to browse again! I found out about this place when I had purchased a few vinyls over at Minasan in Japantown and was told they were sourced from here. There is a small parking lot in the front, which was empty at the time, otherwise there is street parking nearby. There is a middle school nearby so the streets might be busier when school gets out.
