Karen had my dress waiting in a dressing room for my daughter to try on my dress first before any others. It was such a special moment to see my daughter in my dress! After that it was down to business. Karen tried every style and fabric on my daughter. She took the time to get a feel of what she wanted. Once it was narrowed down my daughter stepped out of the dressing room, took one look at herself and started to cry! That's it! It was THE ONE! We still had a half an hour left to the appointment! She not only returned my call but she also agreed to work with us to help make this show a success. We had set up a date and time for the girls to pick out a dress to wear for the show. By the time they arrived there was already an assortment of beautiful gowns ready for them to try on. Omaima and her assistant were so patient and kind. They made sure each girl chose a dress that not only made them feel confident and beautiful, but also flattering to their unique shape and height. The girls had a good time trying on dress after gorgeous dress, standing on the platform in front of the large mirrors, and admiring themselves and each other. As an added bonus Omaima even wrote descriptions of each dress for us to read during the show! The store is small but charming. The decor is warm and welcoming. I can imagine how a bride would feel being in this type of environment surrounded by their loved ones and saying "Yes to the dress." It just has that type of vibe. When I purchased the dress, I specifically asked Kelly, the owner, if certain adjustments could be made, and she assured me they could. At my fittings, I raised concerns about the fit and alterations, but things continued to get worse. At one fitting, I was placed in the back in this little room where the seamstresses work on dresses because Kelly was overbooked, which was disappointing because I wasn't getting the full experience, but I was still willing to trust the process. At the next fitting, the dress was sliding down so bad. Kelly insisted the torso needed to be taken in, despite the dress already being very tight and me knowing I wouldn't be able to move if it were any tighter. There were also other quality concerns with the alterations. After that fitting, Kelly contacted my mom and decided to refund the alteration cost and have us go elsewhere because she didn't think she could make us happy. This was only one month before my wedding. I wasn't that upset because I just wasn't happy with the work and was considering going to someone else anyways. We took the dress to a seamstress with over 40 years of experience, who identified significant fit issues (way too big at the top and way too tight at the torso- which is exactly what I'd been telling Olha and Kelly all along) and it needed to be completely deconstructed and reconstructed to fit properly. Because this was so close to the wedding, my mom and I ultimately decided to purchase an off-the-rack dress that required minimal alterations. It was heartbreaking because I truly loved my original dress, but the alterations had left it in a condition that made it impractical to wear. I've since tried contacting Kelly about a refund for the dress itself, as the alterations left the gown needing extensive and significantly more expensive work than standard alterations. Unfortunately, I've received no resolution. As a bride, your wedding dress is incredibly important, and this experience was extremely stressful and disappointing. This was the worst part of my wedding planning process and this should've been one of the best parts. On a final note, Kelly also blocked me from the shop's Instagram after I voiced my concerns and emailed her about the situation. ‍ Overall, gorgeous dresses in this store but just in the wrong hands. We asked if the dress could be made strapless and the owner Kelly said yes, so we trusted her and it all went downhill from there. Their seamstress could not get this dress right. We were on the third of four fittings and the dress still needed a lot of work. My daughter kept on expressing her Concerns about the dress, not sitting right and feeling like it was slipping down and they kept trying to make it tighter in other places that were too tight already. There was only one fitting left so of course my daughter got emotional and Was very nervous at that point And instead of comforting her and making her feel confident about the dress We were told to take the dress to another seamstress. Instead of just being honest and saying they couldn't do the job because obviously they couldn't. They put us in this predicament. This is all happening one month before the wedding So imagine the distress we were under. We took it to an experienced seamstress who Who was recommended to us and the second my daughter put the dress on she pinpointed everything that was wrong with the dress. Basically the top was way too big for my daughter and at the waist was way too tight. The dress had to be reconstructed from the top to make it fit right but obviously that was too big of a job for them so instead they decided blaming my daughter, and her emotional state was the right thing to do. Do yourselves a favor stay away from this place. Instead of going through all the reconstructing of the dress we ended up buying another dress off the rack at Here Comes The Bride. They were so helpful And the staff was wonderful, unlike at Sew Bridal

I came to Vogue with one month before my sister's wedding and no bridesmaids dresses for 5 women with various sizes, ages, and a very firm wish of the bride about what she wanted us to wear. These women at Vogue are Dress Professionals, and they have seen it all. They came highly recommended to me by a friend, and I only wish I had started my shopping here. The shop appears small from the outside, but it has the widest selection of styles, colors, and sizes I have seen anywhere. They have dresses for prom, cotillion, homecoming, bridesmaids, Jr. bridesmaids, and mother-of-the-bride. I was so relieved to find the dress my sister wanted, and for only $165. The dresses were ordered, and arrived a week later and a day earlier than promised. Alterations were done (mine was $30 to shorten the dress) quickly and professionally. If you come to this store with a bad attitude, you only have yourself to blame for a poor experience. Come with an open mind, speak slowly and clearly about what you wish, and enjoy the lovliest spot in the Northwest Suburbs for some real girly-girl shopping!
