I had to call them again to resend it 2 days before the surgery. When Dr. Arevalo called me back on the day before my surgery, he made me feel like I was not a valued patient, and I was wasting his time. He scolded me for asking him a simple question. I wanted to know what would have caused the problem for my tooth to become infected. This was important to me because I did not get to ask him directly during the first visit one month earlier. I had a surgery scheduled with him the following day and his demeanor and tone made me feel totally uneasy about having him work on me. He said very arrogantly "I told you already last time! I was taken back by his response and apologized for asking. I tried to express that I did not recall asking the question or getting an answer from him. I told him that I did not appreciate his response and demeanor especially since I was scheduled with him for surgery the next morning. He said, "I don't care" "I don't need you to waste my time." I told him that I would be leaving him a review about the unprofessionalism and his response was "I don't care!" This man may have a degree and license, but has no respect for people or professionalism. I do not recommend anyone go here so that they don't have to experience this terrible service that I did. The place is clean which it should be. Pain control was taken care of during the procedure. I looked like a chipmunk but at least there was no pain. Tylenol worked fine afterwards. The matching for my bite was perfect. This is a hidden gem and I located them at first on the Ameritus Dental website. Parking is more spacious in the back but some handicapable spaces in the front. They dutifully take a lot of x rays of your teeth, the full mouth scan and then they place you in a room, alone with images of what they have scanned. It took me a while to realize that what I was looking at was my mouth because my teeth looked absolutely terrible. They use some kind of weird lighting trick to make your teeth look very yellowed. My teeth are not that horrible and are nice to look at. I wrote on their sheet that I was overall pleased with my smile. Then after viewing that screen for a while, about four females came into the room and said I had heavy bone loss and their clinic couldn't even do a routine cleaning. They wanted to refer me to a bone specialist like the specialist could restore my bones! They also talked about dentures and I flat out told them, I would NOT be receiving dentures. Oh, and another thing. At the end of the visit, they give you a looooong list of things you can buy or procedures you can have done to your mouth. I looked at the final cost and it was about four thousand dollars. Yup! You read that right. I will never return.

They were able to get me in that same day and was very thorough. Dr. Sakr and Shelby were very attentive and made me fell comfortable and at ease. They were very patient with me and took their time to make sure that the procedure was great. They also made sure that I was numb so I didn't feel anything and we're always asking how I was doing during the procedure. I was in so much pain and could not go to sleep at night for a couple of days but the same night after seeing Hearthstone, I had the best sleep in days! I was amazed that Dr.Sakr was able to take me in today rather having to wait or set up an appt elsewhere. Collin the male receptionist& Manager for the doctor was very courteous and knowledgeable to get me in today. Dr. Sakr female assistant was also great as well. And the price for services was affordable. They accept all major insurances but willing to work with Delta insurance. The place is marbleous(marvelous)from the front to the back with state of the art technology that you probably have nevered endured. I enjoy this endodontist so much, I ask for brochures or business cards and he gave me a referral packet to give to my dentist. I left from his office and headed to my dentist and gave him the referral packet and cards they are really not far apart from one another. My dentist was also amazed at how fast I was able to get my root canal done and I told him thanks to google I was able to find a endo in no time this morning. Both my dentist and my new endodontist dr.Sakr cannot wait to meet each other. And perhaps build a professional bond in the dentistry together to help each other out with clientele. I highly recommend Dr.Sakr. and Benjamin Vough is my dentist at Life smile dental studio on bandera rd. Dr.Vough will have to just do the operation for my zirconia crown on my tooth but I have that set for October so that i can give my root canal time to heal and avoid any further pain issues before he place the permanent one. I do plan on extending his clientele as well by spreading the word and perhaps placing his business on other sites if he is not already added.
