I do not recommend C. Roger Macias, Jr to anybody under any circumstances. I had wonderful results for implants from the oral surgeon who referred me to Dr Macias, and I regret having taken his advice.
Dr. Macias has an arrogant and dismissive personality. He was condescending and belittled me often when I went to see him. I needed to replace an old permanent bridge and two crowns on my front teeth. I had been a patient of Dr. Macias for general dentistry work and since he called himself an 'aesthetic and restorative dentist', I assumed that he was capable of doing this in a satisfactory and professional way. I was so wrong! After paying him UP FRONT a considerable amount of money, I had to wait for ONE YEAR before the work was completed with terrible results
At first, the crowns were slanted to the right and the bridge didn't fit properly. He wanted to convince me that everything was fine but at my insistence and after a long wait he finally agreed to send the teeth back to the lab. He implied that the problem wasn't with his work but with my mouth, and that he was doing this as some kind of FAVOR. He was in a big hurry to get rid of me and when the crowns came back from the lab, he attached them with permanent adhesive so when I looked in the mirror and saw that the bridge and the crowns had different shades of white, he gave me one of his fake smiles and let me know that it was too late to change them because he would run the risk of breaking the teeth.
As a result,
I am now stuck with pain in my jaw and ill-fitting and unsightly teeth. I made a big economic sacrifice to pay for this sub-standard, shoddy dental work that any first year dental student could have done at a fraction of the cost and with much better results. read more
