It isn't huge as a community centre but that's what makes it great, cozy and comfortable. Our children have been attending this school since the day they have opened! and have always been happy with this facility. They even helped get our youngest who hated and feared pool water when he first started at the age of 3, become a very strong and happy swimmer! During covid they went above and beyond to accommodate all families, strict rules in place with private change rooms and TRUE full sanitation of the whole facility in between classes! The owner and management are extremely friendly and professional at all times. Our children have learned so much and have accelerated beyond their friends who go to other nearby schools and community centres. The pool is a true salt water! It does have chlorine in it, as any salt water (public pool would) as this meets with accordance of the city of Vaughan Bi-law. We also have a salt water pool at home, and are encouraged to add a certain percentage of chlorine as this is not open ocean water, to kill germs and keep it hygienic. My parents signed up for a 1 month membership since my mom has really sensitive skin and was looking for a salt water pool. They told her theres no chlorine in the water. A few days in, her skin was crazy dry, peeling, and even the color of her swim suit has faded because of the high amounts of chlorine they dump in their water. This definitely raises some health and safety concerns. All this isn't why I want to give this place zero stars. It's because they are dishonest and have terrible service. The manager is extremely snooty and rude. She treats other as though they are beneath her. I has called in on behalf of my parents and Oscar who works there told me my parents could just come in and could get a refund for the remaining days on their membership. When they did, the manager changed her mind and told them they now couldn't. WHAT ON EARTH?! Not only does she have a bad attitude but to top it all off, provides awful customer service. Tip- don't just change your mind about giving a refund when you said your would. It's unprofessional and unacceptable. Please please STAY AWAY from this place. UPDATE: So I guess they change their mind and they call my parents back to come get their refund and when my parents get to the pool, they said that there's NO refund.This happened twice. My kid has since not been able to go to any swim lessons without the fear of being drowned by an instructor. A life saving skill turned into one of their greatest fears because of this establishment. They did not take my family's complaint seriously and blamed this incident as "the instructors method of teaching". Very dissapointed.

This company started in their parents backyard pool, upgraded to a shared motel pool and now finally has opened up a beautiful space of heir own in Box Groove plaza. I love how genuine everyone that works here is, they all truly care about your kid and they are not a number. My kid is fearful and they really give him such patience. Basic level starts with ratio of 1:3 but he's the only kid and they still run the class! Instructors are in blue rash guards and there's 2 pool supervisors that float between groups in Orange, so sometimes like twice throughout each class my kid has two instructors all to himself. Clean viewing area for parents to watch their kids, small children's play area for the kids waiting. Two tv's playing sports or cp24, lots of plaza parking. Only bad part is- Showers sometimes get "reserved" by parents leaving their bags there which they shouldn't be or people wearing dirty/wet boots into viewing area despite signage.

At Russell Aquatics, students in the Pre School 1-2 program have a 3:1 ratio. This is extremely beneficial when your child needs more attention which mine does. Even before we entered the facility the staff were already helping us with our first obstacle, a crying four year old. They came out to comfort him which in turn provided me with comfort.
