It isn't huge as a community centre but that's what makes it great, cozy and comfortable. Our children have been attending this school since the day they have opened! and have always been happy with this facility. They even helped get our youngest who hated and feared pool water when he first started at the age of 3, become a very strong and happy swimmer! During covid they went above and beyond to accommodate all families, strict rules in place with private change rooms and TRUE full sanitation of the whole facility in between classes! The owner and management are extremely friendly and professional at all times. Our children have learned so much and have accelerated beyond their friends who go to other nearby schools and community centres. The pool is a true salt water! It does have chlorine in it, as any salt water (public pool would) as this meets with accordance of the city of Vaughan Bi-law. We also have a salt water pool at home, and are encouraged to add a certain percentage of chlorine as this is not open ocean water, to kill germs and keep it hygienic. My parents signed up for a 1 month membership since my mom has really sensitive skin and was looking for a salt water pool. They told her theres no chlorine in the water. A few days in, her skin was crazy dry, peeling, and even the color of her swim suit has faded because of the high amounts of chlorine they dump in their water. This definitely raises some health and safety concerns. All this isn't why I want to give this place zero stars. It's because they are dishonest and have terrible service. The manager is extremely snooty and rude. She treats other as though they are beneath her. I has called in on behalf of my parents and Oscar who works there told me my parents could just come in and could get a refund for the remaining days on their membership. When they did, the manager changed her mind and told them they now couldn't. WHAT ON EARTH?! Not only does she have a bad attitude but to top it all off, provides awful customer service. Tip- don't just change your mind about giving a refund when you said your would. It's unprofessional and unacceptable. Please please STAY AWAY from this place. UPDATE: So I guess they change their mind and they call my parents back to come get their refund and when my parents get to the pool, they said that there's NO refund.This happened twice. They allowed me to goof off in the recreational skating area with a friend in a wheelchair when it wasn't crowded. They have skates for rent and hot chocolate for sale. In terms of swimming, showers are old but work. There is an accessible shower corner with railings, seat and shower hose. Change rooms have ample bench space and you have the choice between coin operated lockers or just leaving your stuff in the cubbyholes. The lanes are WIDE and the pace is much slower than usual. Last time I went, their fast lane was a little crowded and almost everyone was going at a medium pace. The medium lane was extremely slow but I was able to get away with drills and sprints with only two other swimmers in there.

The first semester, the kids spent more time sitting on the stairs playing with toys than swimming. However, one supervisor is strict about the teachers actually practicing with the kids and the amount of time swimming has increased dramatically! The facility is great for young kids. The water is warm and the parents can be out of sight for the entire class if necessary. There's also a thick layer of glass between the kids and parents so the parents can chat without distracting the kids or drawing attention away from the class. The change room is small but has everything you need: warm showers, dryers, a bathing suit dryer, 2 washrooms, and 8 changing stalls. Space is clean. Staff are friendly. Emails could be answered a bit quicker! However, all in all we've generally had a positive experience.
