Highly recommend WD Apparently they use salt water which is better for the skin. The pool isn't as big though but the instructors are great. They have plenty of seating available so you can sit and watch. There is a small play area for younger kids - very thoughtful. I like how they have individual showers and change rooms - makes it a lot more private and convenient. I usually don't have to wait for a change room. They also offer make up classes which is amazing.

This is a place where your child can, depending upon the instructor, receive decent swim lessons…read more As someone who has been a client for 7 years, however, I can tell you that they remain ABYSMAL administratively. Why? 1) They NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER EVER answer the phone!!!! Why even have a phone number? Good luck with getting answers or customer service is you have questions about your account. 2) Getting a receipt for (EXPENSIVE) private lessons is a extremely PAINFUL EXPERIENCE!! Why? Because, even after witnessing the inconvenience that parents experience, nothing has been done to improve upon this major shortfall. They clearly don't really give a CRAP about parents of, or clients who are, special needs.

Beautiful, clean and professional facility. The staff is wonderful. All well trained, accommodating…read moreand friendly. It isn't huge as a community centre but that's what makes it great, cozy and comfortable. Our children have been attending this school since the day they have opened! and have always been happy with this facility. They even helped get our youngest who hated and feared pool water when he first started at the age of 3, become a very strong and happy swimmer! During covid they went above and beyond to accommodate all families, strict rules in place with private change rooms and TRUE full sanitation of the whole facility in between classes! The owner and management are extremely friendly and professional at all times. Our children have learned so much and have accelerated beyond their friends who go to other nearby schools and community centres. The pool is a true salt water! It does have chlorine in it, as any salt water (public pool would) as this meets with accordance of the city of Vaughan Bi-law. We also have a salt water pool at home, and are encouraged to add a certain percentage of chlorine as this is not open ocean water, to kill germs and keep it hygienic. We love and recommend this school to all our friends and family.

STAY AWAY unless you want your children swimming in chlorine…read more I really wish I could give this place zero star. My parents signed up for a 1 month membership since my mom has really sensitive skin and was looking for a salt water pool. They told her theres no chlorine in the water. A few days in, her skin was crazy dry, peeling, and even the color of her swim suit has faded because of the high amounts of chlorine they dump in their water. This definitely raises some health and safety concerns. All this isn't why I want to give this place zero stars. It's because they are dishonest and have terrible service. The manager is extremely snooty and rude. She treats other as though they are beneath her. I has called in on behalf of my parents and Oscar who works there told me my parents could just come in and could get a refund for the remaining days on their membership. When they did, the manager changed her mind and told them they now couldn't. WHAT ON EARTH?! Not only does she have a bad attitude but to top it all off, provides awful customer service. Tip- don't just change your mind about giving a refund when you said your would. It's unprofessional and unacceptable. Please please STAY AWAY from this place. UPDATE: So I guess they change their mind and they call my parents back to come get their refund and when my parents get to the pool, they said that there's NO refund. This happened twice. What kind of messed up games are you guys playing on elderly people? This is wrong. .

From the very first lesson, the kids were clearly learning a lot and becoming really comfortable in the water. He clearly has a lesson plan and knows exactly what to do, all the time, and the kids have responded well. They look forward to every swimming lesson! Kristopher is very thoughtful, kind, patient, and reliable - we couldn't ask for a better instructor for our kids. We're looking forward to more lessons over the summer!

After two weeks of lessons everyday the children had lost their fear of getting their faces wet and going underwater and are well on their way to swimming on their own. The experience appears to be dependent on which supervisors are in the pool. We've been attending…read morelessons since September 2025. The first semester, the kids spent more time sitting on the stairs playing with toys than swimming. However, one supervisor is strict about the teachers actually practicing with the kids and the amount of time swimming has increased dramatically! The facility is great for young kids. The water is warm and the parents can be out of sight for the entire class if necessary. There's also a thick layer of glass between the kids and parents so the parents can chat without distracting the kids or drawing attention away from the class. The change room is small but has everything you need: warm showers, dryers, a bathing suit dryer, 2 washrooms, and 8 changing stalls. Space is clean. Staff are friendly. Emails could be answered a bit quicker! However, all in all we've generally had a positive experience.

The "school" is basically a website and a guy, answering the phone (occasionally)…read more It's not a gym-type place, where you can see what you are paying for. There's no reception area, you can easy walk through the locker room straight to the pool and spit in it, if you want - no one's gonna meet you on your way, even if it's your first day. Probably that's why you'll be basically forced to pay for the full course prior to even discussing anything - while filling up the form on a website you have to enter your credit card information, you can not skip it. *The price is shown for 9 lessons, but you have to pay for 10. Why not show the full price? To make the amount look more appealing? As I said, there's no staff to meet you on your first day, there no staff to even answer the phone!!! You won't hear "Hello, this is SeaOtterSwimSchool, how may I help you?", cause that's just someone's cell you are calling on. There's a high probability of not hearing anything at all for the same reason - no one picks up, even if you call many times at working hours. You might hear an answering machine, telling you about classes in January - very up to date. The class does not start on time - it might not start even after being 30 minutes late. In summary, for many reasons like the last one this school is not for adults, cause the approach is not serious at all.
