Yep, complete panic attack, thought I was going blind, played possum. I also did this at the hairdresser, 5 hours before my ssiter's wedding. I have to stay off WebMD and the like because once I burnt my tongue and convinced myself I had oral thrush brought on by HIV... even though there was NO WAY that this was even REMOTELY possible. I'm a basket case. So, making an initial visit after not going to a dentist for 3-4 years, knowing full well I at best had a broken tooth and at worst must have oral cancer and have to have my jaw removed... I was pretty sure I'd pass right out in the chair. I called on Monday and they were able to get me in that Thursday. I had to get there early to fill out paperwork. Upon walking in, everything was so bright and cheery and the staff was.... cheerful? I don't expect that at any sort of health care facility, mouth, eye or otherwise. Ok, was able to breathe. Got paperwork done, and they took me almost immediately (10 minutes early) for my initial appointment. I wish I could remember the names of the dentist and her wonderful assistant. They had me cracking up from moment one. I was an early appointment, I wish I could remember all the banter going on between the two, but my favorite quote was "we aren't going to take any heroic measures to save it" about my poor broken tooth. I couldn't stop laughing, but they were still able to poke and prod in my mouth, despite the constant giggling. She also was right on top of an issue I've had since my tooth came in... last dentist I went to, I had to explain it to him. Friendly? Check. Clean? Check. Knowledgeable? Check. Freakin hilarious? Check. Turned me from Baby Huey without his bottle back into a sane human? Check check and CHECK! Made me want to go back to the DENTIST? Check! Billing... not cheap, I don't have insurance, but seems pretty reasonable. Gotta pay 300 smackeroos for my wisdom tooth to come out in a few weeks. I was expecting it to be more expensive! I'll take it. All in all, GREAT experience!!

The treatment plans they gave me were going to cost thousands of dollars, with insurance. I went to get a second opinion, and 3/4 of the treatments they said I needed are not necessary. This includes an unnecessary crown and bone graft. Feels extremely unethical to present expensive treatments as required when in fact they are not. I have permanently transferred my care elsewhere.

Chris, my hygienist was the best! He was so understanding of my anxiety, kept asking if I was ok, or needed a break And had me laughing! I don't think I've ever laughed at a dentist office due to my anxiety! I met Dr Cochrane for a consult and she spent some time going over the work that needed to be done, why it needed to be done and how it should be done. She was super professional and fun. I've never said a dentist was "fun", but she was. Jennifer, also a hygienist, was working in the reception area and literally talked me down off the ledge when she knew how anxious I was. Overall this was an excellent experience and I really look forward to continued treatment with these professionals! They did a ceramic repair that left my front teeth mismatched in size and, even worse, cracked after two days. They filled a cavity on my back teeth and didn't grind down the filling enough. On my last visit, the dentist didn't come into the office, which they didn't tell me before I arrived, so I only met with a hygienist when expecting a dentist visit. I have since met with another dentist who identified cavities that were missed and who was surprised by the quality of the dental work I had done here.

I have not felt so welcomed, so put at ease, so completely assured of the obvious knowledge of the actual dentist, and hygienist as I did with this practice. They do take my my insurance. His work, ethics and manner are superb…read more I went to him for a dental emergency requiring a 3-D CAT scan (CBCT) to visualize a dental problem not easily diagnosed by other methods. Dr. Quinta provided amazing, highly professional care. He explained everything going on and about to happen in detail and with kindness. His work was excellent. His caring of his patients remarkable. I highly recommend this periodontist to anyone who is looking for extremely high quality care. I doubt you will find anyone who can match him.

Dr Clayton and then Dr Canby started a wonderful practice . I have been going there for 33 years…read more Dr Clayton retired and DR Canby is semi- retired. I will miss them . The office staff and the present senior dentist leave much to be desired . Today the only concern was payment . I received a quote that was 150 dollars more than the quote they had me sign two months ago. They TEXTED me to say I would owe almost 500 dollars for a filling . The quote from 2 months ago was 150 dollars lower . This was not the first time money came before patient care . There have been 2 similar incidents but today was the last straw. I left the practice after 33 years and will be going to an Easthampton practice not focused on money grabbing and concerned about the patient first .
