I went in and was greeted by the owner with a snooty "Can I help you?" I am not one to be uncharitable but I thought there was a needless tone in her voice. I was definitely interested in the lamps but didn't like the base of the lamp so looked around the store to see if there was a perfect match for what I was looking for. Although the store had some interesting furnishings, I saw nothing else in lamps. I thought the lamps I liked were a good price too. I did notice a boujie attitude return when my friend asked a couple of questions about some items. Than I asked if the lamps were in stock and she said "You would have to take those!" Display models for sale, no thanks!! At that point I was annoyed. Something dawned on me, I could use google lens to take a picture of the item and it would find it on the internet. I did just that and instead of paying $79 a piece, I found two for $89. So I want to thank the owner for her unwanted approach to sales, as it led me to a great bargain. Keep it up!!

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone for home repairs.

DANGER STAY AWAY!! I PAID TOP DOLLAR AND RECEIVED HANDYMAN…read moreWORK!! Bruce Keyser (THE KEYSER GROUP) or any other name he goes under became a liar and a cheat. I used Bruce for six years but he no longer cares. His crew (unsupervised) are extremely careless and unprofessional. Hardware put on backwards, new brushed nickel hinges covered with paint and the hinges themselves looked like they were purchased at a second hand store. Several items went missing, can't say they were stolen, but where did they go. He had the new carpets installed, tile floors professional steamed cleaned, and all duct work cleaned, before they were finished working. Now the rugs are stained and the tile floors are dirty (POOR SCHEDULING). The spackling and painting were so bad everything had to be done over. After 5 days to redo one bedroom I had to throw them out. BEWARE OF ANYONE HE RECOMMENDS. His electrician (FORTNER ELECTRICAL) cannot install anything straight and left outlets to close to new cabinets and installed a wired smoke detector above the oven. His tile setter (TORTORA TILE - CONSTRUCTION) installed the shower tile lower than the trough drain. Now the water pools around the drain. Less than one year I have cracks in my ceiling and the grout on the backsplash in the kitchen is cracking. These are just a few of the disasters, I can go on. If he would have stopped by at least once a week he would have caught a lot of the mistakes.

Ballash Woodworks is a great, obscure date experience. This unique craftsman's workshop is owned…read moreand operated by Mr. Kurt Ballash and family. Kurt has an interesting story. Check it out on his website @ ballashwoodworks.com. So basically you can book a workshop, via the website, to "hands-on" learn how to build, craft and design a wooden product from raw materials to finished product. This involves picking the materials and using all of the necessary machinery to complete your product. Our niece scheduled this outing for her, her parents, the wife and I (The 4 Amigos) to partake in a couples crafting workshop; thanks JT. Be warned, this experience is not for the faint of heart. You should really be prepared for the following: * If you go in the winter time, you will be cold. So dress accordingly! * This is a real, fully functioning place of work. It is not fancy! So dress accordingly! * If you are weak, clumsy or both, don't go. You can get hurt. (No one was injured during our workshop) * If you are uber sanitary, don't go! Bathrooms would not meet your standards. * If you are unable to stand for long periods of time, don't go! It is mostly standing room only. Now with that being said, if you are adventurous, good with your hands or like to try new things... RUN book your session immediately. Sessions includes access to materials, equipment, guidance from experts and lunch. Think of this experience as Sip and Paint without the paint and certainly without the booze. My group and I had a great time! Kurt and his team of experts were awesome!! To be honest, pictures are worth a thousand words, and that could not be more true than in this case here. Enjoy the photos :) Recommendation level - Very High
