There prices seemed a little high but because from a recommendation from a friend we were fine with that. Over the course of the update we also decided to hire them to handle the weekly maintenance. This is were we took a turn for the worst. Had issues multiple times where they didn't show up. No call, no show. There was also times where I did get a text message saying they would be out a different day of the week. Totally fine with that but not showing up and not calling is not acceptable. The most recent time they just didn't show for prob close to 3 - 4 weeks. When I messaged Dean his exact response was as follows: "Dave, i apologize to you . Its obvious the guys for some reason do not communicate with me when they dont do your yard. Its been an on going problem. Lets just end it and have you find someone that can handle the maint." I was pretty blown away by an owner giving up work and money rather than discipline or handle his guys for not showing up. After finding a new company to come take over the maintenance and get all my landscaping back in line with pulling the weeds, trimming the bushes, grass cutting. I had to pay $300 to clean up the mess Competitive Lawn left behind. While they are decent landscapers I can't recommend them to anyone and suggest you look elsewhere.
