I have been going to this vet since 2015, though I switched for a few years due to the front end…read morestaff, I came back about 2 or 3 years ago. The same staff I struggled with was there but other's had joined which seemed to create accountability. I find the facilities clean and the staff generally polite, but the level of politeness definitely varies from one customer to the next. This is observable from the waiting room. The doctor's and assistants are professional and personable. I generally see Dr. Kraabel, but have see a different Dr. for the last two visits. I recently scheduled an appointment when my Sheba showed signs of an ear infection. He had also developed an occasional tearing from one eye which this doctor had observed in May. I suspected his eye may have been scratched from my other dog's tail. For cost reasons I had been applying a human prescription lubricant which I brought in to make sure it was safe; the Dr. made no recommendations. I asked her to take another look at this visit which she did. After a brief exam she suggested a glaucoma test, when I hesitated she told me the worst case scenario, losing an eye without warning and I quickly agreed. The assistant had taken an ear swab when we arrived and now the Dr. escorted my pup to the back. When she returned a few moments later she told me he didn't have an ear infection and showed me how to clean his ears by unrolling the cotton ball and inserting it in his ear. She then went over my entire bill; almost $400. I was aghast, this was more than when he gets the expensive ear treatment. I tried to back out of the $77.00 glaucoma test, but it was already done. It was then she told me that that test was negative as well and suggested a cheap bottle of eye drops. In the end I spent almost $250.00 (with flushes and drops to be filled elsewhere) to be told my dog doesn't have an ear infection and needed eye drops. The doctor later sent results in which the findings showed mild conjunctivitis, yet she withheld that information, choosing to use fear in order to motivate me into agreeing to an unnecessary test. This was a shameful exploitation of the pet connection (a trend among vets) as well as a betrayal of integral trust one must have with the medical profession. All of that, on top of ridiculously high charges for a simple office visit. I left feeling I had been played; swindled, legally, but robbed none-the-less. Needless to say, I will search high and low to find an alternative medical provider for my pets.

Dr. Kate Cutting is a worth her weight in gold. She's experienced, down-to-Earth, kind, and witty…read more She has made all our visits go smoothly - even giving shots. She has a gentle yet confident touch that set my girls (bonded sisters) immediately at ease. They come out to greet her when she arrives. I know she's extremely busy and she still (during reasonable business hours) responds to my frantic, not-necessarily-during-reasonable-business-hours texts. She can tell the difference between "this is dangerous and needs immediate care" versus "okay, client is nervous but this won't kill her kitties for me to wait on". Her in-home price isn't cheap, but if it saves me having to wrestle my girls into their carriers, take them for a loathed car ride, subject them to the smells, sounds, and waiting with other animals, and them being afraid of me for awhile after that, it's worth it. Thank you, Dr. Kate!!!

Dr. Cutting was so patient, since my Bailey is a fearful dog. She let Bailey come to her, she knew just the right treats to help her relax. She got vaccinated and didn't even know she had been! By the time of the next visit, Bailey greeted her like an old friend, and Dr. Cutting was able to conduct a more thorough exam. I don't care if my dog becomes fearless, we plan to continue to see Dr. Kate!

The staff was very kind and informative over the phone. I asked about pricing for checkup and spay…read moresurgery, and they answered all my questions. Their pricing for the feline spay surgery was reasonable, and procedure was pretty straightforward. Drop off the pet around 8-9am, and pick up around noon. There was a bit of a line during pickup because one of their machines was down, so they had to serve all customers AND answer the phone. It must've been quite busy for them. They gave detailed instructions for aftercare, as well as the pain & antibiotic medicine. I think we found our kitty's new regular vet. :)

One of the most traumatic and negligent veterinary experiences I've ever had…read more I trusted this clinic with my dog's life, and that trust was profoundly misplaced. Over the course of treatment, they performed four surgeries that were later confirmed to be unnecessary, putting my dog through repeated anesthesia, pain, and recovery for no legitimate medical reason. Their lack of proper diagnosis, poor judgment, and complete disregard for the physical toll on my dog nearly cost her her life. At no point were we given clear explanations, alternative options, or convincing medical justification for why surgery after surgery was supposedly required. Each procedure created more complications, more suffering, and more fear. What makes this unforgivable is that much of this could have been avoided with competent care, thorough diagnostics, and basic professional caution. Instead, we were met with confidence without competence, and reassurance that turned out to be dangerously wrong. The emotional distress this caused our family -- watching our dog deteriorate because we followed professional advice -- is something I wouldn't wish on anyone. Veterinary care requires trust, and this clinic shattered it. I strongly urge pet owners to seek second opinions before consenting to any major procedures here. Had we done so earlier, my dog may have been spared immense pain and trauma.
