When test results come back, she is on the ball and makes the call. I recently moved all of my children to her from another doctor. The kids love her. She speaks well to my 7 year old and 14 year old. They are not worried when it's time to go to the doctor know they will be treated by her. She is a very knowledgeable, caring, compassionate doctor. The office staff are good too. The one who stands out mostly with me over all these years is Allison. She pretty precise. The medical assistants and nurses are awesome as well. I wish I could remember all of their names. I will update my review with their once I remember each one's names. I know one for sure and that's Karen. When I asked the front desk, they said they'd check, but no update came. Meanwhile, others who came after me were seen first. This was just a second dose vaccine follow-up, and during my last visit, I was told it wouldn't take much time. I ended up waiting nearly 40 minutes before I was called in. That said, Sky was super cool, professional and gentle. I didn't even feel a pinch! In and out in 10 minutes. The wait was frustrating, but Sky made the actual visit smooth and easy. The clinic should definitely work on managing appointment timing better, especially for simple follow-ups.

I had two issues that have developed over the last year and he was able to issue referrals for treatment from my previously used specialists. Something my former PCP would not do. He is a partner in "Partners In Internal Medicine". They have two offices, 1 in Canton the other in Ann Arbor. They have an onsite lab so I have to go back Monday morning to complete today's visit. My spouse sees Dr. Hashemian from the same practice. We highly recommend the treatment we receive.

He he printed out that list and brought it with us to the offices -- I thought it would be embarrassed by it, but now I know it showed we meant business! We wanted to find someone who would consult with us and respect our decisions on vaccinations and antibiotics. We wanted to veer on the homeopathic side of care whenever possible. We wanted someone who respected the fact that our son was born at home with a midwife. It was hard to find all of this in a pediatrician, but in a family doctor, Dr. Scheerer was the It man. Dr. Scheerer is accomodating, I don't feel like a sardine in a tin can in his waiting room, he sits with you and really listens to your concerns. He knows his holistics but is also affiliated with St. Joe's, so you get the best of both worlds. He supports breastfeeding. He looks like he was in a rock band once, but has pictures of his family on a slideshow screensaver. Also, since he's a family doctor, he can take care of the whole fam. He sees babies every day, so we felt comfortable to have our son under his care. His staff remembers us and it really feels a lot more inviting than any other doctor I've been to. If you really like flourescent lights, a hospital setting, and a sterile-feeling environment, then he probably isn't for you. He's an overall very upbeat, positive, and (literally) funny guy. It's one of those things that comes as a shock because everyone is so used to doctors who are overly serious or just dull. But, he knows what he's talking about. I like that he tries to find ways to treat me that is less intrusive to my life than having to go in and get shots every week for months, then every month for years even though that's where the money is. A non-emergency inhaler was all it took to keep my newly diagnosed (by him) asthma, which apparently I've had all my life but never diagnosed, well under control. I would definitely recommend anyone to go see him if you need your allergies or asthma treated.
