They also withheld my medical records for weeks while trying to get emergent help elsewhere. A month after requesting my records I was finally able to be seen by a different provider and an understanding surgeon and nurse who simply asked:"Was she just wanting you to bleed out?" My only response was... I guess so. Thank God I switched health care providers. I would not recommend this or any UF health Womens center employee or provider. They could care less if you live or die.

She makes recommendations while giving options and suggestions of which route to take. All of this with a non-judgemental, humanistic approach. The world needs more of her caliber. Absolute abomination of a doctor's office. I was assigned to Agha after a hospital visit and cannot…read moresay enough negative things about my experience. Not once in my handful of visits was I ever seen anywhere close to my scheduled time. I think the earliest I was taken back to my room was 50 minutes late, and typically I would finally be seen by Agha 65-75 minutes after my appointment time. One time, they even called me to reschedule my appointment to the following day because they were running so far behind. Eye roll. Agha has a nice enough demeanor but picks and chooses which diagnoses he treats. I had some complications stemming from a knee injury, in addition to other issues I have been on medication for. He blatantly refused to treat some while focusing completely on others. After a couple appointments, I finally realized this and called him out. All I got was a shrug and some half-ass statement about how some medications (that I've been on for YEARS with no pushback from multiple other doctors) are "overprescribed". He wanted me to get rediagnosed for something because my diagnosis "was a long time ago" ...it was 4 years before and I had been on the medication until I lost health insurance 6 months prior? Tf. I told him to pull up/look into my medical chart. He refused and said I needed to get rediagnosed. Lastly, the office is crusty and outdated af. Sitting around an outdated lobby/treatment room/medical equipment for hours on end waiting to be seen was the cherry on top of this shithole office. I implore you to go to literally any other doctor than him.

Dr. Kapatais was referred to me by a friend whose referrals I trust... so I gave in and went. I honestly didn't know if she'd spend two minutes with me or even do the testing because doctors seem to always want to tell you "you're fine" and send you on your way. I know I am a pretty healthy girl, but I was really interested to see my deficiencies. Not only did Dr.K listen to me, she helped me navigate through my fear of flying, which came up randomly because she actually talks to you and helped me understand more natural and realistic ways of dealing with my health, which is what I was so excited about. I have never felt like a doctor actually cared about me, until I met Dr.K.
