When I challenged him indicating that this measurement was provided by his counterparts in BC, he said that he would do the measurement if I paid $25. So much for taking professional responsibility. Apparently it is available for purchase. His behavior is just a cheap tactict to make buying glasses from other than him as difficult as possible.

As is typical with every health care provider there can be a wait but the drs never rush me through my exams. For the opticians, I always have great service and their prices for frames are excellent. I've gotten glasses from Costco etc where service is terrible. I'd rather pay a little extra and have real service. The drs always check to make sure the glasses fit properly.
