Good optical service which offers up to date eyeware solutions including a great range of frames and contact lenses. The care system is very good particularly the follow-up sessions, and the opticians seem very capable and professional. Very good at catching out kids who want to have glasses like their friends with the old clear-glass con! The front of house staff provide excellent and very friendly service and are great with kids. The reception area is warm and friendly unlike most opticians which have a clinical waiting-room feel. It's also easy to get an appointment whenever required. The only problem is the price. As a smaller business, the costs are much greater to the client and this means they are easily priced out of business by the new specsavers which has opened just down the road. Great if you can afford to pay extra for the personal service, but like many, I've been forced to change opticians to cut expenditure. Shame. read more
