I have nothing but good to say for Gabriel and his team! He is very kind, communicative and efficient when it comes to working on projects. His prices were also very reasonable. They were always on time and worked around our schedules. Even when there was some small mishaps that happened with the paint, he was able to adapt and accommodate very well. I am very appreciative of the way him and his team took extra precautions and helped me out. I would definitely recommend Gabriel and his team and will be using him more in the future! read more

I was very impressed with Gabriel and his team who painted the interior of my home last week. They arrived every day on time were extremely diligent in covering all the floors and did a beautiful job! I got three quotes and his was the most competitive. I appreciated that Gabriel kept in touch regarding progress and that they moved from one area to the next giving me back spaces in a timely manner. They also helped move large furniture and replaced once they were done. I highly recommend Vargas Painting. read more

Vargas Painting Services did an outstanding job painting the entire exterior of our house. This paint project had special challenges that Gabriel and his crew handled extremely well. These challenges included painting stained doors and windows (check the pics for his outstanding work!), properly treating severely chalking wood panels, and scraping, cleaning and priming silicone sealant. Having dealt with dozens of painter contractors personally and professionally, I found Gabriel to be highly experienced and conscientious. He did not miss a detail, and always opted to do the right thing as opposed to cutting corners to increase his profit. I had several neighbors come by and commend the work completed by Gabriel and Vargas Painting Services. If you have a paint project, I'd highly recommend considering Vargas Painting Services!! read more

We had Vargas Painting Services paint our house before we moved in and refinish all of our kitchen cabinets. We're extremely impressed with the results. The 25-year-old kitchen now looks brand new! Gabriel was a great communicator throughout the project and paid close attention to detail. His team was professional, thorough, and took real pride in their work. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out and would highly recommend Vargas Painting Services to anyone looking for quality craftsmanship and reliable service. read more

From the time to quote, to the time it took to patch the cracks in the wall, to final painting, this crew was very reasonably priced, fast working, and very clean in protecting floors and objects from both foot traffic and paint work. We are already planning on using Gabriel and team for our next paint job. read more

Vargas is a good person to work with. He has a good team working on my project for the entire house exterior painting. I quoted multiple painter services and Vargas is my choice as his reasonable price and detailed itemizations. Vargas and his team worked carefully on power washing, sand and peel off old paint, fix window cracks and paint the entire house and shed with one primer and two paints. Not only his team did great work, Vargas also offer to help paint my shed door for free when he notice the scratches on it. After all work done, he spent time cleaning all the area, leave leftover paint in my garage and asked me to check to see if need any complement. I sincerely thanks Vargas and his team for the work and would highly recommend everyone to get a free quote from Vargas. read more

Highly recommend! Attentive to the needs of the customer, attention to detail and will make minor corrections when requested and reasonable pricing. Gabriel takes pride in his work. It's not just about completing the work but about getting it done right. Gabriel has a specific way of performing the work from prep to finish and has an eye about things. When he's in the house, he's careful with how he treats the inside of the house to minimize the mess and accidental damages. Throughout the day, Gabriel checks on the work of his crew and corrects/provides direction to course correct during the job, not just at the end of the job. Gabriel doesn't rush the job but at the same time, doesn't take forever to finish the job or takes days off during the job. At the end of the day and the job, Gabriel does a better job cleaning up than most contractors. I usually spend a lot of time cleaning up the dust after a contractor finishes the job. The clean up wasn't as much as other jobs I've had done inside the house. Looking forward to hiring Gabriel again for future paint jobs. If you appreciate quality over speed and great customer service, then I would recommend Vargas Painting. WORK REQUESTED: I had nine bedroom/hallway closet doors, door frames, two closets, bathroom, and hallway painted. They started with laying down floor protection and also taped up plastic to block off the dust from other areas of house. The house is old and had oil-based paint on the doors. They took off the doors and all the hardware, sanded the door and fixed dents and bumps and installed brand new door hinges. The doors were pretty uneven. They did a fairly good job with smoothing the doors. They look 100 times better than before. They also sanded the door frames and fixed dents as well. For the bathroom and hallway, they took off all the fixtures and hardware before painting as well as patch holes, etc. They applied primer and two coats of paint. The trim and ceiling were the same color and the walls were different colors. They did a great job with the transition points between the paint colors, pretty straight. They also did a pretty good job and screwing back the fixtures around the original location. There were some overpaint and missed paint areas that I pointed out which they corrected right away. My closets had dummy door knobs and did not close all the way. Gabriel went out of his way to find magnetic hardware to install to keep my hallway doors closed. Truly thoughtful and great customer service. I also had a new bathroom light fixture, vanity mirror (non-cabinet style) and bathroom vent installed. Gabriel specializes in painting but he can perform smaller jobs, but don't expect him to be a general contractor. If he can't do the non-paint jobs, he will let you know. He will not make promises with work that he's not confident in which I can appreciate. read more

Excellent work done by Gabriel and his team. Gabriel did the exterior painting of my house. He is very nice to work with. I was really happy with their attention to detail from start to finish. He has a very nice crew and they ensured that my place is covered well before starting the project and also cleaned up well after the project was done. Gabriel came and checked on his crew from time to time. His price is affordable and I would highly recommend him. I will now get my interiors done. read more

Gabriel was so helpful from start to end. I had a tough problem because the paint I needed touched up was originally from Kelly Moore, which as we all know is now out of business. I was having such a hard time finding a match to the paint. I even took a paint chip from the dried out paint can to home depot and lowes and had them do a scan match and that still didn't work. I was sure I'd have to repaint my whole ceiling to get this fixed because the areas that needed to be touched up were pretty big and obvious on the ceiling even after I used the matched paint from home depot. I reached out to a bunch of painters on Yelp, but Gabriel from the beginning was the most helpful, he came and took a look at the issue and was confident that getting that paint matched at a better paint store like Benjamin Moore with a better sample (he took a piece from the same colored wall in my garage instead of the paint chip) would yield better results. I trusted him and we moved forward. Fast forward to after he applied the paint, I was SHOCKED. I can't tell the difference between the color he got matched and the rest of the ceiling, it all blends in so perfectly. The pics I took speak for themselves, it's like a miracle. I'm so grateful I was able to get this fixed for a few hundred dollars rather than a few thousand dollars. Thanks so much for being honest and so helpful and taking care of me, I will definitely use you again when my wife is ready to paint the whole house ;) read more

Gabriel was quick to respond on Yelp and very communicative in scheduling a visit for a quote. The free quote included a walkthrough of the house and is generated within hours. You can't beat that. He was very knowledgeable about interior painting, paint qualities, finishing techniques, masking imperfections, and just had a really good eye for these things. I encourage anyone to get a free quote from Vargas and consider them for your painting needs. read more

Gabriel Vargas and his team are exceptional. They do a quick site visit to give you a free and accurate quote and then accommodate you within a week to get the job done. We had our sunroom painted and Gabriel explained the entire process clearly and the pros and cons of different approaches. They also provide great alternatives to work within a budget. Moreover, the job done was excellent and very clean. Every small spot was covered and didn't need us to monitor. I would highly recommend Vargas Painting Services, and we are already working with them on another project soon! read more
