My first time in Hawaii. My husband and I were looking for place to chill out and we came across this place. We smoked the E cigs and we ended up buying a few to bring back to California as souvenirs!!! Ben was very helpful, he made certain that all our questions were answered and he knew how to treat us well!!! He knows his stuff in and out. Great ambiance. When you are in Hawaii you want to relax and enjoy your vacation, this was just an addition to an amazing time spent in Hawaii!!!! read more

Vapor Bar - Bought this orange Kaos mod for a sweet deal! Mahalo! - Vape Shops Near Me - Hilo, Hawaii

I forget the guy's name who runs the shop there, sorry dude! Me and my girl are from LA and stopped in here. We usually stop at a local vape store whenever we go on vacation to try and pick up some locally made juices with local flavor profiles. Vapor Bar carries a number of really solid high quality juice lines. They also carry two separate lines of Hawaiian made juice (one in Hilo, one in Mauai I think). So we picked up the juices we wanted and everything was all good. Me and the guy talked shop for a bit. They carry some nice mods and attys (both clone and authentic), with average prices for a B&M. He gave us a little deal on a few bottles of juice so that was cool. Apparently they're doubling the size of their floor space soon so that should be helpful. We visited two other vape shops here in Hilo and I have to say this place blew the other two out of the water, ESPECIALLY in the friendliness of the owner compared to the other two shops. He actually seemed interested in shooting the shit for a bit and knew a lot about the products he is selling. I would highly recommend this shop to any locals looking for vape supplies, or even tourists looking for a local vape shop. Nice work dude! read more

If you have chosen to vape over traditional cigarettes you have made a great choice. Another great choice would be to stop by Vapor Bar Hilo. This is my favorite vape shop. They are knowledgeable and enthusiastic about all things vaping. The products. Vapor Bar carries a good selection of juice and hardware. They have choice gear as well as budget friendly options for beginners or those not willing to shell out for the choice stuff. The juice selection is high quality and well stocked. They also carry all the tools and supplies needed to rebuild your rig. Their batteries and chargers are also quality. The service. The Vapor Bar staff are honest and informative. They cater towards YOUR needs and do not push products just to make a buck. They will inform you on what will work, how it will work and offer a variety of options. They do not bog you down with tech and nomenclature but are fully able to do so if you prefer that level of geeky. They also offer build services and can troubleshoot a variety of vape based issues. All of the staff i have dealt with (Ben, Kevin and Quincy) are skilled and knowledgeable. I have felt stoked with all my purchases (Aspire Subohm+Thunderstorm, Asmodus Mod+Alliance RDA, Sigelei temp control 150w+Thunderstorm). They also will set up your rig and send you home with a working unit. The Shop. When you first walk in, the place is so full of vape that it reminds me of the caterpillar scene from Alice in Wonderland. The shop sports comfy couches, a running flat screen and a sample bar. The samples are what keep me coming back regularly. I sample something new every time (Bring your RDA!). The dimly lit setting may be a bit daunting to the faint at heart but the friendly staff quickly dispel this. The location. The only downside is the parallel parking. I personally do not mind parallel parking but I will note it is not as convenient as a normal lot. The shop is located in town on Kinoole Street. It is located before downtown so you won't have to deal with one way streets or battling for parking space. Their hours are also convenient. The prices. The Prices are competitive and better than other shops in town. They also offer a number of incentive programs and discounts. They even have comparable prices to amazon or other online venues on many items. I am all for supporting local over internet sales. Vapor Bar makes this choice easy. If you are "Chasing Clouds" or quitting traditional smoking, Vapor Bar should be first on your list of places to check out. Vape safe, vape informed, put out that cigarette and smell good! read more

Best Vape spot on the big island ! Kevin was in the shop when I came in. He was very friendly and extremely helpful when it came to the questions I had about the different products. They have a great selection of e-juices and quiet a few mods to choose from. They also have plenty of room to just hang out and watch what they have playing on the flat screen. I am definitely recommending this place to any of my friends that come to the big island. read more

It was just a weird and unpleasant experience, although I've nothing in this realm yet to compare it to being a 100% vape virgin. Maybe it's the whole 'bar' scene that threw me off, but I will say who helped me could have been a lot more of a people person and helpful. It was almost more like I was talking to a bouncer at the front door of a VIP club. Yet, everyone in the club didn't have enough liquor in them to loosen up a little and stop trying to act so important, or something. Maybe I'm too Puna, a generation off, and am used to chain smoking with straight shots of hards in my hand...in a bar. It was just weird. It;s more like a 2.5 star review, but could've been more had who helped me seemed more...helpful. He didn't try to sell me the universe in a tube or anything, he was just not customer service-oriented. So, meh, I've never experienced a scene like this but I know good customer service when I give and receive it. read more

I just bought my first vape a week ago from this place and I was extremely satisfied with the performance and the service that I received. The owner was very helpful and he is a very cool guy. Everything that you'd want from a vape shop. All of the things that I bought was exactly what I wanted and it was all thanks to the friendly folks at the vape bar. They are great for first time buyers and are more than glad to help out with questions. I recommend this place over any vape shop on the island. read more
